UPD

Information for the participants. On August 19 and August 26 Coolcryptovator is going to count the posts of signature campaign participants instead of us.
I am confirming that.

Just a reminder about two important rules,
The post’s length must be at least 200 symbols.
- Don't spam. Post made after page 5 we usually consider as a spam. We can accept no more than 10% posts of weekly post quota (for example 2-3 of 25), if posts are written after page 5.
I am forced to follow these rules strictly during post count, please comply with these rules.

Thanks,
4522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable? on: August 13, 2020, 08:43:18 AM
As others said, gold isn't fully stable. You can see a recent bump and crash. Listen, gold is an asset and exist in real life, it's not a currency. Basically, you don't need gold to live. But currency is always needed. The main reason why gold is low volatility is, world population do not attempt to buy it at the same time and don't know buy pressure or sell pressure. But since Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency we can use it in our daily life since it has value. It's most volatile because the world's population could buy it at the same time and sell it at the same time. Holders are monitoring the buy/sell pressure and taking real-time decisions. That's how bitcoin becomes more volatile than gold. That's my opinion, others might not agree.
4523  Other / Meta / Re: If I find many spammers in a thread should I report each one of them? on: August 13, 2020, 08:22:17 AM
Seems thread has been trashed. When you think a thread using bumping service/something similar and there are so many spams, then simply you may report the whole thread and that's what I did previously. In alternatives, if the case is complicated, then I wrote PM to the appropriate moderators who in charge of the board. So I was able to explain in detail what suspicious activity going on. And always I got a positive response from the moderators. So if you feel confuse and feel suspicious there, then you may write to the appropriate moderators with the details. Hope they will appreciate your report.  But it's better to use the report button instead of PM to moderators since they are too busy to handle spammers.

@OP since you are willing to help forum by reporting spam, I will suggest to read the thread  [Guide] Reporting effectively
4524  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Blockstream Green vs Electrum...which do you recommended for security? on: August 13, 2020, 08:10:33 AM
One more disadvantage for me on the Blockstream Green wallet is its Multisignature Model. User can't spend their coin themselves, the transactions should sign from both side user and wallet author. Even you have a mnemonic phrase you have to wait for expire you 2FA authentication.

The first way to spend coins is using signatures from 2 different keys to send coins. One is held by the user in the form of the mnemonic, which the service never knows. The other is stored on our server, and we sign your transactions with it after any Two-Factor Authentication you have enabled verifies the transaction.

This means that, unlike custodial solutions, we can never steal your coins, since we don’t know your mnemonic. Even if we get hacked, or taken over by a government entity, or something else catastrophic happens, no one can steal your coins.

On the user side, even if someone steals your mnemonic, they cannot spend your coins unless they can access your Two-Factor Authentication. This is the type of security that other wallets do not offer.

The second way to spend coins becomes available after your two factor recovery period expires. Once this happens, you can spend your coins without our service needing to also sign. This is to ensure that no matter what happens, you can always get your coins back.

Our signature scheme also allows us to enforce Two-Factor Authentication security, Two- Factor Authentication spending thresholds, and other extra options. These features do not exist in typical Bitcoin wallets.

Perhaps it would be an advantage for some users, but not for me. I know there would be some alternative way to recover your funds. But my question is why should I involved with some problems that I don't like? If I can't save my seed/mnemonics then no one can save my funds. But I don't like that someone will have control over my funds. We can say is a semi custodial wallet IMO.

I will prefer to read Blockstream Green wallets documentation before using it. So you will have full knowledge about what are you using.
4525  Economy / Services / Re: Go-Overt Bitcoin Mixer review campaign. on: August 13, 2020, 05:38:24 AM
Review: I received the fund. And try to mix it free. At first I confused by seeing minimum 0.005 BTC  have to send. That also noticed by other people here. Unfortunately I send 0.0012 btc with 50 sat/byte fee. It’s seems 135 confirmation from my wallet tnx history. But I did not receive any BTC to my output address. It’s already  20+ hours gone. Even I did not receive the fund back to my sending wallet. So what will if anybody send any big or little amount than 0.001 btc unfortunately for free mix?
It has been explained above post #22, you transaction detected as dust transaction by the system since you haven't sent enough fund for anonymous (regular) mixing. Because more than 0.001 BTC will consider as a regular mixing (not for the test). That's why OP stated that you have to send exactly 0.001 BTC to the free mixer. Less then 0.005 BTC will consider dust on the system since this is the minimum.

4. The exact 0.001BTC has to send if you want to test on the "Mix Coins For Free" service. So we are sending you 0.0013BTC which would cover your sending fee as well.

Anyway, let's wait for the admin answer if he can refund your reward.
4526  Economy / Services / Re: Go-Overt Bitcoin Mixer review campaign. on: August 12, 2020, 06:18:44 PM
The wording is very weird ("Free Mix only is 0.001 BTC only to") and I don't really know what I should do. It says the min is 0.005 BTC, but the Free Mix is only 0.001 (?). So, I can actually send 0.001 BTC? What if I send more (e.g: the entire 0.0013 BTC)?
It has been discussed there on Jambler's official chat group, the answer is below from the Jambler admin. So the same goes for all Jambler partner mixers who are using their default script.

Quote
It does have to be exactly 0.001 BTC, because this very amount is what communicates your intent to use trial mixing to the system. Think about it, there is no other way for the platform to know if you want trial or regular mixing. So, any other amount will be treated as regular mixing, and the usual commission will be charged.

It's been requested to all participants who have received funds, please update your review here. It's more than 24 hours I had sent the amount for the test.

But at the same time, there is a minimum of 0.005 BTC? So how can I mix my 0.0013 BTC? I don't want to send 0.001 BTC and keep the 0.0003 BTC dust. I want to go all in.
Actually, we sent 0.0013 BTC to mix 0.001 BTC and rest 0.0003 BTC for to cover your transaction fees. I don't know how much will dust after deducting transaction fees. And OP has mentioned on the thread you have to send exactly 0.001 BTC if you intend to use free mixing service. Hope you got my point.
4527  Economy / Services / Re: I need iquant.exchange verified account on: August 12, 2020, 01:52:00 PM
Why are you risking yourself by buying a verified account with other's KYC documents? They could back account again at any time and they would recover Gmail as well even you change the password. Gmail could be recovered even with a joining date and a few more details. Also, it's not right to use other's verified accounts.

Don't waste your money and find an alternative way. And a quick reminder, don't fall into a scam.
4528  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] CICLEX exchange promising 175% yearly return! on: August 12, 2020, 11:44:34 AM
what's the scam? What's the ponzi circuit? Or do you want to say that it is unrealistic to earn 200% a year on trading? easy in a month
Hey, you are promoting is an obvious Ponzi scheme where they are promising a fixed return on investment. The calculations are given on the website based on your investment, not based on your own trading profits. I know perhaps you may gain 200% a day if you are lucky. At the same time, your portfolio would turn into near ZERO if you are unlucky. But Ponzi is different from the trading. Return 200% by doing nothing is unrealistic and Ponzi. No more doubts about it, if you are an investor of this site then highly doubts you will not find them after a few weeks.

Good to see that moderators had removed the thread due to promote referral links. Supported flags & tagged as well.
4529  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HYIP/money doubler/cloud mining script reseller/developer on: August 12, 2020, 11:26:44 AM
First all of, I am agreed with OP. No one can explain validly that is a legit business where have such as high return. Advertising the Ponzi scheme wouldn't be appreciated among forums, so helping to build such as Ponzi scheme and advertise on the forum isn't acceptable to me as well. We are continuously working to prevent scammers from the forum, based on it, we shouldn't allow that user to advertise Ponzi building scheme.

Supported flag and left negative feedback as well.
4530  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Blockstream Green vs Electrum...which do you recommended for security? on: August 12, 2020, 09:18:57 AM
I am not familiar with the Blockstream Green wallet nor had uses it. I am not sure how much funds are you going to store. If the amount is quite big then a better decision will be to buy a hardware wallet like Ledger nano. I have been using electrum and Ledger, so I can say both are safe to me if you download from the real sources. Electrum is an SPV wallet and easy to use for everyone. Just keep safe your seed phrase whatever wallet you are using. It's quite important after choose a wallet.
4531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I use unconfirmed funds? on: August 12, 2020, 09:03:04 AM
So the miner can't mine the child's transaction unless the first one is confirmed?
No, they will not mine. If I can recall correctly I have seen an option on electrum to spend unconfirmed transaction. So it's pretty sure based on clients or wallet you can spend unconfirmed transaction. But those are using web wallets or custodial wallet, probably they wouldn't spend unconfirmed transaction what I have seen on the coinbase exchange/wallet.
4532  Other / Meta / Re: WHAT HAPPEN AND NEED HELP on: August 12, 2020, 08:48:32 AM
Even though I didn't do anything wrong.
Most likely it's impossible, and you are lying. Usually, moderators do not ban any account without any reason. Very rarely mistakes could happen. Actually, you know very well what happened to you than us. So if you are sure that some of your alt accounts got ban than all accounts under you will be banned. So even you tried to appeal, it will not much be benefited. But if you believe moderators wrongly banned your account then write to appeal department as suggested by mole0815.
4533  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Sergey Nazarov Fake 1,000,000 ChainLink Airdrop! on: August 12, 2020, 08:39:05 AM
How stupid are we? Scammers gathering funds in an easy way which is very well-known scam methods. Any crypto users who have common sense they should realize it's a scam when they notice the domain name. Some it's surprising how people sending their pocket money to the scammer pocket.

One of the main reasons why scammer gainer with such as scam is, we aren't much experience of crypto-currency basic technology. We are just looking to get profits from it, but we are unaware that we are sending money to the scammers.

Anyway, we can only increase awareness, so newbies would read and gain some knowledge about how to save their own funds. Good job OP, keep it up.
4534  Economy / Reputation / Re: Just hit Legendary. Great achievement to me. Long path. :) on: August 12, 2020, 08:28:32 AM
Congratulations man! You deserve it. I am also on the way, but don't know when I could make a similar thread. I joined after introduced the merit system. Once again you have proved that it's not hard to build an account by contribution. I believe a few other users will motivate once they will notice your achievements.

Best of luck.
4535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a Fake Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2020, 08:11:45 AM
There would be fake bitcoin, but its verifiable to the main chain. Also, there is some coins owner claim their coin is real bitcoin which are totally fake. Testnet coin also is a fake coin as well, sometimes scammers attempt to scam innocent people by testnet coins. Every coin has its main net, so you should verify them before buying/sell. For ERC20, it would be verified via the contract address. Check the original contract address from the official website. There are so many scams happen via fake ERC20 token. Remember, frauds are everywhere, either in online or real life.

4538  Economy / Reputation / Re: Eventually, 1xbit has launched its Signature campaign on: August 10, 2020, 03:07:43 PM
Well maybe they realized that hiring some campaign participants will help them to restore their reputation. They are seeing example in the recent days. So, why blaming them only :-P
I know blaming them wouldn't change anything. As you mentioned in the recent case, probably they are friendly to resolve accusations against them. But 1xbit is different from them since even they deleted their resolution thread. They are thinking simply to run a campaign would clean their old bad records. But most probably it will fail when gamblers will encounter again their ToS drama.
4539  Economy / Reputation / Eventually, 1xbit has launched its new Signature campaign. (Update: 26-05-2021) on: August 10, 2020, 02:51:33 PM
Here is the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5267371.0

Although I don't want to see their advertisement on the forum unless they solve all the issues, but seems lots of users applying them even they are aware of 1xbit shady behavior. It's pretty clear they aren't friendly enough to resolve all the issues raised against them even they had opened the resolution thread. Moving resolution thread on Archival and delete thread prove they don't care about forum users opinions.

Edit; seems they moved the resolution thread again on the reputation.

Support/oppose flag type-1: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2204

It would be nice to create flag type 2 or 3 by the victim.

Update: 26-05-2021

New signature campaign thread launched: 1xbit.com signature campaign (open).
Review campaign: 1xbit.com honest review campaign (open).

So you're paying 0.0013 BTC but 0.0010 BTC has to be sent back for mixing? Does the participant then get the 0.0010 BTC again after mixing?

4.9% fee is outrageous, that's my free honest review for you.
For free mixing, network free may apply. Usually, participants will use their own BTC address during mixing, so the amount remains after mixing will reward for the participants. Any additional reward will not be sent to the participant for this review campaign. Thanks for point out that issue.

@OP, you can mention it on the main thread to be clear.
