[...] I thought we were comparing W per GH ?
Isn't that what the pretty graph was all about?
Yes, and then you still have to see it in its time perspective... (or do you compare specs on a 1968 Stingray to a 2013 McLaren?) Where is this pretty monarch to match the pretty graph again? Did it fly far far away to Kansas...

I think he is claiming "Artistic License" on his mathematical comparison scenarios.
True, La la land. Or better yet...Kansas.

So? You're still comparing apples and oranges here Chucky... (Although prob. my Antminers use "a bit more" power [not to mention: produce a lot more heat] since I run them at 400mhz, and the Single's aren't so easily overclockable...).

[...]So from your technical and professional experience hacking these singles to death....sbogovac doesn't know what he's talking about. So if it's 3 Watts per GH for a Single, and an Antminer S1 is 2 Watts per GH, how is 3<2 again? Someone has to go back to school and learn basic arithmetic. Ehhhhh... As I said: you do have to compare the Single to the other Hardware being used back then (in 2013)... Someone has to go back to school an learn basic reading (and interpreting) skills. Here's some stink in your eye for reading comprehension. You wrote this! Well, that's not my experience...
I waited to order the BFL Single's till they were "in stock" and I must say that the chips are superior to any other I use(-d, and I [have] use [-d] Antminer U1's, Technobit HEX16's, BFL Single's and Antminer S1's). They simply hash away more steady (less fluctuations in Hashrate), more power effective (although I really don't care because of my "all-in-office-rent") and more efficiently (less power hungry and less heat dissipation).
So - yes, I am looking forward to what chip BFL comes up with... And test results are proving to be quite interesting:

HI, I want to know what the best BTC pool is. I have a 1TH/s miner and want to test it. I realy don't know which Pool I want to choose.
BTW i have a great Domain, it's realy good for a Pool but also for other Mining or Coin stuff: hashrage.com feel free to make an offer
There is no real best mining pool. Every miner will say the mining pool they been mining to forever is the best and they're probably the best for them. You have to draw a mining plan, like you would in a gold mine. - Do you want to be able to cash-out daily?
- Do you want to mine x amount of blocks per day?
- Do you rather make more bank for your power?
- Do you want merged mining?
- How much time do I spend at the PC?
Those are all things like that to consider and then some, those are just a few points to consider. From my short experience, large pools appeal to new miners because they pay often and regularly find blocks. They are also a lot more stable and easier to deal with in general, they're established for years. Most miners found out for themselves. Smaller pools may take a few days to find one block but the chance to get a nice share of the pot increases too. At some point, if you go to a small pool, you get a no-profitability factor. Meaning, no matter what you make from a certain point, you're giving free hashing power without pay. It's up to you to know what you can expect to earn from each pool you congregate. If you start then BTC Guild is probably your best bet to get used to the whole thing. It is the most stable and quickest to pay too. You can cash out daily but don't pay as much as a small pool like P2Pool or BitMinter. P2Pool I find is too small and BitMinter never takes my whole hashing power; I think their server needs upgraded hardware. I'd avoid score based pools like TripleMining and Slush's Pool, I never got a decent ROI when compared to other pools. You might, didn't work out for me. In the end, best research is your own. Hope this helps. Well spoken, Gigabit, couldn't have said it better. By the way, how's the ant farm running my man?

Single uses about 4 watts per gh at the wall. 3 if you undervolt it with some resistor mods.
The jalapeno used more like 5 watts per gh, six if it was the 2 chip model. This is more due to the hotel load (things like the CPU, power control, USB, etc) using power. My 32gh jally is 5w/gh because the power supply is less efficient than a single and I have to run a Corsair H100 water block system to cool the little guy.
Power matters a *LOT*. I'll probably be throttling down my systems in June.
C (Why yes, I hack hardware for bitcoin. Tell the Defcon people to accept my presentation and I'll do one at Blackhat/Defcon in August. We might even set things on fire)

Please explain to the rest of us how is the Single more efficiently than the rest of the chips.
You take the power usage (at the wall) and divide it though the number of GH's mining so you get a ratio and the Single performs best (from the four miners I('ve been) use(-ing). Simple really... Isn't the single like 360W for like 60 GH/s? Don't see the efficiency. No, it isn't... And you do have to compare it with the other hardware being used back then... (in good-ol 2013). Spit out the watts or forever be damned for "FAIL".

LOL that's not a test result, that's a marketing graph silly! Wait, this is said by someone with "★★★ GET FREE CREDITS! ♣ POKER ✪ SLOTS ♦ BLACKJACK ☮ RITZGRANDCASINO.COM ★★★" for a signature?!? ROFL! Yes, it is. What does sig campaigns have to do with the message I'm trying to convey. Glad you have good eyes. Well, from my perspective you're the one using marketing... And... Don't get your point still. Look around this forum, there's advertising in almost every other sig and the website BitcoinTalk even has banners across the page. Doesn't make what I said about BFL's marketing gimmicks any less. Do you truly believe that's a test result on the screen? If so, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Perhaps Nigerian prince's are more your flavor.

no and yes. If you don't care about electric than yes, if you do care about electric, possibly yes still. More than likely no.
Even with no electricity fees, you still have to buy the hardware, buy cooling equipments and time taken to manage it. It would be highly unlikely to ROI. When you're taking it to HVAC level then you're in the bloody red, forget unlikely to ROI.

I don't think right now UpDown is going to do any competition because they are paying just 1 btc or some more in a week pay and Ritz paying more then 12 btc and Stunna 16 btc so all need to take time for any next decision
True, those other campaigns only have like 30 or 40 members, where as, RGC and PD have like a hundred or more members each.

New price for AntMiner S1: 0.425 btc each one, shipping cost included.
Are there any plan to make the S2 be able to ROI, at the current price it hashes at $2.3 per GH/s vs the S1 at $1.3. The S2 should cost a little more due to the case and the power supply, but at the current price it is almost double the price and does not ROI. I think a fair price would be at around $1.5 per GH/s this way it is possible to ROI at current difficulty rate. Using any calculator that considers the difficulty increase, and using a difficulty increase of 18% indicates the S2 does not ROI at current prices. As of now the S1 is the only miner that can ROI, but the problem is that due to the extra energy it uses it will soon be obsolete and for the S2 to take its place the S2 must be able to ROI. Cointerra $1.9 per GH/s better than S2 but not good enough, sp10 $2 per GH/s better than s2 but not good enough for ROI to occur but lower energy consumption. Conclusion the S1 is the best value per GH/s but very soon the extra energy it uses will kill the ROI. That's where you take advantage of the various $400 coupons floating around here in the forum. Knocks it down to $1.86 per GH/s if you like that sort of thing. Do a quick search, I dare you!

already see i can not ask nothing bahh You can ask in questions you aren't sure of, just phrase your thread subjects differently. For example: "Rumor: Did Portugal and Spain try to ban Bitcoin?" or "My friend told me Portugal and Spain banned Bitcoin, is this true?" If you phrase your thread topic as a question, it doesn't sound so much like FUD.

Some of your competitors have significantly upped their rates
Are you considering doing the same for next month?
Its been long since ritz updated this thread..! but i'm sure they must be figuring out the best possible strategy to stay in competition . And all the sites are claiming to be the best paid sign Ritz dint update his price ? No he did not. We will soon see huge exodus of people to Up/down if he did not change it. All People's contracts are ending with the end of the month. We still have 8 days to go, I wouldn't write Ritz off just yet.

Blah... Blah... Blah... Compensation... Blah... No Refunds... Blah... Blah... Angry Blah...
500 posts of that crap is enough. I'll check back on Wednesday and see how things are going.
Too bad BTC isn't rewarded by posting. This place would be full of millionaires. Yeah, these thread is full of dicks. It is stupid, how can you justify being upset and posting to a company well all they have done is take your money then delay a little, lie, delay more, ignore you, say you can't have refunds, delay more, ignore lots more, compensate by making you buy psu's, then say well be can't figure it out you can have minions though, be rude at suggestions and not post pictures of "just waiting for case" x-1's. Talk about over dramatic. Exactly, how dare we customers raise a stink, we have no right or no stake in this project at all. BA would've been just fine without us customers. They'd be able to fund...oh...that's right we did fund this operation. Guess we do have a say in the process.
