4521  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit 5000$ before november?? on: September 28, 2017, 02:53:32 PM
China ban ico  and also try to ban bitcoin. As a result bitcoin dumping and price 3000$ below. Now bitcoin again hit 4000$+ now .Bitcoin can 5000$ before november? I want to hold my bitcoin  plz give me your predict?

You don't need any prediction. If you want to hold your bitcoin, trust your own action and made up your own prediction.

If you have positive thinking about bitcoin, no matter what FUD, panic or negative news that will happened, you will think of a long term. Now with that kind of question, I see your such in a hurry to gain profits.
4522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: government and bitcoins banning on: September 21, 2017, 05:42:25 PM
already china has banned bitcoins is there any chance that other countries may ban bitcoins?Huh

Currently there are countries that banned bitcoin for long time now.

Chances for other countries to follow is always possible but today don't think of that since it's unlikely will happen to the country where bitcoin is actively being used. Stop thinking too much and just continue your normal day in crypto world.
4523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pricing over 4K ,thinking about buying on: September 21, 2017, 05:22:23 PM
Pretty happy with what I have so far.  I have about  1 1/4 BTC left.  Bought 10 ETH and 10 LTC,  rest went to alt coins I liked.  Spread out big time.  Have atleast 15 alt coins with around $50 worth in each one.  Any of the really cheap ones rocket I could profit a good bit.  Will hold them and see what happens in the next year or so.

Just maintained it. The progress so far is good and I think you already know what you are doing.

Long term holding doesn't associated with weak hands so just ignored any price decrease that will happen on the way while you are holding coins. Also try to accumulate another quantities every price dip on a large margin.
4524  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bitfinex SUPPORT NOT WORKING on: September 21, 2017, 03:39:07 PM
one of my friend send me 43 san token from bitfinex. also im using bitfinex and transaction get confirmed. but nothing seen on my bitfinex wallet. i opened support ticket 7 days past and they are not responding also they are telling dont open more support tickets in same issue. here is the blockchain info

https://etherscan.io/token/San?a=0x47846ffa4f3362e91e02b6237ab55e0ce071b121

so if you need support from bitfinex no one can help you at least 1 week i will be update the situation if they resolved. So we have an idea about how their support works. currency market too volatile and if you have such a situation you can lost lots of money. think twice before

Bitfinex already experienced lots of technical problems in the past. That's the reason also why I don't used anymore this platform and began switchinh to others.

I suggest not to bump tickets but create a new one. It's not an assurance that it's best to have a new and fresh ticket everytime. See if it can evade the issue of not opening more tickets with the same issue.
4525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: September 21, 2017, 03:24:06 PM
Probably because the government considers that this will rival the existing financial system , and the shift of the public financial system can affect the income from taxes and governmental power to know the amount of their people's wealth is reduced, but mostly I think because goverments less understanding about the Bitcoin system.

I don't think so they have some thinking like that. Why such in the first place they think cryptos will be a rival.

About taxes, that will be not a problem. All registered exchanges to run as a legit company need to comply with the law so in other words they will be taxed so still nothing changes. Im disagree to all sayings here that governments want to wrecked bitcoin since what is the benefits in return if they will do that? On the good side, they can take advantage of it too on many ways. Just need some brainstorming on how cryptos can be a good collaboration to the current financial system.
4526  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: September 21, 2017, 03:16:27 PM
Countries arent very friendly to crypto, we all know that crypto does make them to loose the power they have with fiat over us, banks and countries will fight to crypto and till they understand that crypto has camed to stay, soo in the medium period banks and countries will benefict  from the health generated and into circulation over borders.
We are just thankful that here in my country they are open for this opportunity but sad to say that they are already investigating and studying this if they will imposed tax on it. But I think its okay to have tax just to have a fair rate on it and not to manipulate the price of btc or to disallow bitcoin in our country.

To become more freely when using crypto, exchanges must be taxed. Regulations although not a part of why we use crypto is having a good benefits to us especially when something is stolen or involved in a fraud. Exchanges requires verification in order to have some backup informations of their clients once problem came.

No way cryptos will just grow without any government involvement. Im agree for regulations as long as all parties are fair and square.
4527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I hold? on: September 21, 2017, 03:07:44 PM
it depends on the altcoin. if it rises and you think that you are contented with you profit then sell.
And when it keeps dropping until the point you are not sure it will rise again? What will you then do? Most people have forgotten that as long as holding a particular altcoin is the safest way to trade, it is important to always monitor and follow the news on that specific altcoin you are holding. I have had instances that I got news late and I ended up loosing on a coin as it never came back up again.

Handling altcoin is really diffrent when holding bitcoin that's why it's more risky to hold altcoins.

Price volatility of altcoins are really way more active than bitcoin hence in just a blink of eye, a pump or dump may happen or while we are heavily asleep.  We have to set our own set of measures to deal with this behaviour. There are some traders who can play nicely with the game. If they can, surely others too. People don't need to stay awake at most hours of a day. Just be focus and eager to reached the goal of getting profits.
4528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: September 21, 2017, 02:40:29 PM
There's now a slight clear path on where Carmelo Anthony will landed.

As expected and as far as all rumors is pointing out, Houston Rockets is the closest team that maybe he will landed. If that will happen, I don't know who's Rockets player will be put on trades. No doubt, even their caliber players that help Rockets reached their strongpoint at recent playoffs will be placed on trades. Another good lineup will be wrecked because of the incoming superstar. Hope that it will be a nice move for the Rockets.

Clear path? Carmelo Anthony on Houston Rockets? Hmm why they do they have to do this trade just for him. Yes they've got a good line up and someone will just wrecked their game play. Why there's a push for Melo but well the management is the one to decide for their own team. Also it can maybe a part of their marketing for their franchise, I'm not judging their move but let's see.

Not a 100% clear but slight of it.

This coming Monday is the expected date of Carmelo Anthony's trade and like I said, only Houston Rockets is the team that mostly out on the rumors. Let's wait next week for an update. Hope that no delay will happened.
4529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a great way to teach math in schools on: September 21, 2017, 02:26:50 PM
It would be interesting to see who the first teachers are to do this and if the media picks them up.  I know small media outlets would as they pretty much cover anything.

POS Wallets could teach a lot about basic math even to elementary school kids.  PiggyCoin in fact seems geared in that direction, it's like a Piggybank.

Don't let make things hassle. Just let the normal lesson of Mathematics today on what it should be.

Other lesson for crypto must be on seperate time and not mixed on other subject. It can mentioned but not as a whole.
4530  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: From Jr. Member to newbie??! Anyare?? on: September 21, 2017, 12:22:43 PM

May napansin pa ako.

Pinagtataka ko paano nangyari na nagkaroon ka ng 42 activity e August 25 (period of August 15-29) ka lang nagregister and ngayon is September 21 ( period of September 12-26) so di ka puwede maging Junior Member kasi kulang pa sa araw kahit nareached mo na ang post requirement. Kung August 25 ka nag register magiging Junior Member ka dapat starting after September 26 which is next week magrarank up ka na to Junior Member. 3 periods and dapat daanan para maging J Member which is lampas dapat ng isang buwan. Wala ka pa isang buwan sa forum.

Weird. Huh

4531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Investment Amount on: September 21, 2017, 10:07:51 AM
Hello Bitcoin users! So i've decided to pull the trigger and set myself a coinbase account to start investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. I'm excited explore this new finance endeavor and by doing so I would like to get some initial knowledge. Everyone is welcome to chime in on this but what are you guys' opinion for someone like me starting out would be an ideal amount of investment.

I know for the most part majority will probably advise to start on what I'm comfortable with however I'm mainly looking for an ideal quantifiable range based on how much is Bitcoin is going for or other cryptocurreny for that matter. What's too little and what's too much for someone whose in the beginning stages of investing. Thank you.

Are you planning on bitcoin long term holding or will do trades regularly? If you plan on long term holding then I suggest that after you buy bitcoin at Coinbase, transfer it to a bitcoin wallet wherein you control your private keys and no one controls your funds but you. Desktop and Hardware wallets will do. Examples are: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet . If you plan to do trades based on your instincts then you have no choice but to deal with trading platforms. Take note that once you used an trading site, you don't control your funds there so risk of losing is possible but it's not wrong to trust them.

Ok what's more. Learn all the risks along the way. You don't need to study that much as basic knowledge is enough since some things will be automatically learn as you move forward.

4533  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Spring for BTC - Storm has ended on: September 20, 2017, 03:51:12 PM
In last 4 hours, BTC price has rising twice(green candles appear two times), and there is improvement in the second Peak. Maybe it will increase extremely at 3rd and 4th wave.
Now is the best time to buy.

What do you think?

Candle reading  or any kinds of trading analysis is useless once there will be another FUD or panic that will be created while at the same chances of hard pump is also possible too. Since you speculated like that and you think you are right then stick with your predictions.

A trader that wants to buy will buy no matter what the price level is. It's way better to deal with the risks after buying rather than in the end we will ended up saying " I hope I able to buy at $$$" or something like that.

4534  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 20, 2017, 02:16:46 PM
In my opinion to get profit in better amount is that you should hold for a log and then sell it for your profit with increase price holding is useful for anybody since it is not influenced by change.
There is no doubt that no matter how much expert you are at trading, one day you are going to face some loss in trading because the crypto market is highly unstable. Trading is a proper profession, you need to work hard and practice trading with small amount in order to have grip on trading techniques.
But what you recommended does not give a steady income because it only gives you profit in only one time where you don't exactly know how much it will be yet. A steady income is an income in which you will received in a fixed period provided that the income is fixed as well. The most common way to have a steady income is of course having a regular paying job which you need to work in order to get paid. Now if you want to rely on investing it will be harder as your income depends on the price action.

In some point of view, it can be a steady income but it's not fixed.

To make it clear, steady income means that the income will surely goes into a person 100% no matter if it's fixed or not as long as it was a decent one. For fixed income, obviously we need some job that pays on fixed on regular basis. Trading can't give fixed income but if the result is good, the rewards is really a decent one.
4535  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 20, 2017, 02:01:01 PM
I think it will be great for bitcoin if bitcoin experienced a stable value, because several folks will use bitcoin and make investments on it and several gold investment will try bitcoin for lengthy term expenditure.
Yep! Investors are highly attracted by bitcoins because they offer tremendous increases in prices over a period of few months. The stable prices of bitcoins would not have ever managed to attract such a large number of customers.

Bitcoins are known for their potential of reaching high values in short time and stability would have not let this happen.

That's the reason why bitcoin never will become stable especially with the current hype that bitcoin price may climb up to an unexpected price we can't imagined. No doubt that bitcoin is mostly used as an investment rather than a currency so never expect stability.

Since bitcoin's inception, bitcoin price was never become stable and I think it never really will.
4536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin recovery on: September 20, 2017, 01:15:22 PM
I accidentally sent BTC from my Bitcoin wallet in Electrum to a BCC wallet in Bittrex  that I own, but shows empty.  I wanted to know if there was a way for me to recover the BTC from the Bittrex wallet? I have contacted Bittrex but they refuse to help with anything under £5000. And I do mean no help, been ignored for weeks. I saw someone else on the board with the same problem and you fixed it. Which is why I am asking here. Thank you

As far as Bittrex policy is concern then you have nothing to do.

Your coins are still there but since it's on different chain you can't really see the amount and the only way to do recover it is if Bittrex will give you the private key of the address but it's impossible for an exchange to do that. Hope this serve as a lesson and sorry for your loss.

4538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today, Bitcoin dump ? on: September 14, 2017, 09:35:06 PM
My usually nice luck...invest some in crypto>>>next day China ban cryptos..no chanche to re-see btc over 4k right? Sad

Just because with the today's drop you drop your believes in bitcoin? So what's more if price will reached $1,000, will you suffered a heart attack?

Relax and calm. It's good to see that we are still on 4 digits value rather than going back again to $500. Just continue your normal activity in bitcoin and just watch on it's progress.
4539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, this time it's extremely serious! on: September 14, 2017, 09:22:48 PM
So be it as it will happened no matter what.

Price decrease will happened but it doesn't mean a crash. China exchanges plays big role on the price increase factor but we can move forward without them. I think investors there will surely continue to do trades on English exchanges because not all of them are favored to that regulations. Price increase will still happened. It just needs time.
4540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Traders; what do you look for on: September 14, 2017, 09:13:36 PM
Straight forward question;

What do you investors look for in Pre-ICOs and then after the coin does come out on exchanges what do you look for when you're trading?

Being hype during Pre-ICO plus lots of exposures whether online or public exposure.

And after the coin does come out on the exchanges, I will analyzed first the trend before going out on trades. There are some who will perfrom a large dump that's why the moment they came to exchanges, you must be watching closely.
