I'd assume Robert Whittaker would be next for Adesanya. Although, he has beat him in the past, Whitaker in my opinion is very capable of beating Adesanya on his day. Although, the thing with Whittaker is his strengths are Adesanya's strengths. So, because of the stylistic match up, Robert Whitaker last time ended up getting pretty beat up. I'm not sure if he's improved enough, and I know a lot of people are criticizing Adesanya for not knocking out Vettori, but that's because Vettori's style actually protects him from much of the weapons of Adesanya. I expect the Whittaker, and Adensanya rematch to show a lot more threat from both sides, with it ultimately ending in a KO. Marvin Vettori was tired in the later rounds, he might be having a wrestling based attack after seeing how Adesanya lost to Jan Błachowicz and it could swap away the stamina and Adesanya stuffed many take downs and reversed a few as well and when that game plan was challenged Vettori did not have a second plan and may be that is the reason it was a weird fight.

We don't see that coming if the Bucks would win in the series, we expected that the Nets will bounce back in game 4 and finish it in game 5, unfortunately, the injury of Irving was really a big factor, the Bucks played good defense on Durant putting their best defender on him. If he is the only one who will consistently generate points for the team, then this Nets will be in trouble in game 5. Vettori doesn't upped his performance at all it is still the same, I really hated what he said that he thinks he won their 1st fight but it is clear as day that he can not do anything about Adesanya the whole fight and Issy is always preventing his takedowns. he needs to pull himself together and just like Adesanya fighting is not always won with brute froce alone it is proven that you really need to analyse and think first before getting to landed a punch to your opponent, Adesanya is really right he clearly sees whats going to happen in this fight.

Is it just me or the hype around Adesanya is not the same after his last fight ? For me personally, he will remain one of my favorites fighters and I'm expecting a win tonight with a K.O. in 1st or 2nd round. If somehow, Adesanya loses this game, then his career will take the other turn around and he might have some difficulties to comeback at the same form that made him what he is today but I doubt he will lose as even Dana hyped him a lot along his UFC career.

^ Here’s what I think could happen... Adesanya will tee off on Vettori for R1 and R2 then Verttori starts bringing it at R3. R4 and R5 will be close with Vettori edging it with the TD’s.
We can really speculate on whoever may have possibly could win here, but my take in the Israel Adesanya VS Marvin Vettori fight I could say Vettori could take down Adesanya anytime he like but I really think that Israel Adesanya really knows what is his problem with the submission moves on guys who will make his fight to the ground or grapple him, my take that he surely have gone to the gym and fix those problems, While Vettori surely has become greater than before that's for sure but not like Adesanya because Izzy did fix those problems that is why Adesanya will win this. |
