Yeah, I think it is. One of the last from the old guard. It's sad, but it's also nice if he really retires because there is nothing sadder than watching fighters push through their fighting years. It's not a good look for the or the sport. Their financial future? Well, that's a completely different story.
Some of these fighters are in a tough spot as they are old enough to retire but they did not make the financial stability like some of the super stars in MMA are making and this is their only way to earn money and you cannot blame them for making a livelihood and so is the reason some fighters are fighting even after their prime years but if you are not performing well then the UFC will cut you irrespective of your past glory

The fact that proves that Adesanya has won Vettori by unanimous decision is that he keeps trolling him over the fight Cheesy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96zbWSvxXjU How do you like that? Adesanya was very confident in this fight. Same shows judge cards.

Speaking about judge cards - they sure have a lot of work that night. 11 out of 14 fight ended by decision.

P.S. We are getting close to McGregor - Poirier trilogy, less than a month is left.

Lol wut? The judge Chris Lee noted Figueiredo and Moreno as equal for the first two rounds? And even Figueiredo as victorious at the 2nd round? That is to say if Brandon Moreno didn't submitted Deiveson with his rear naked choke he wasn't sure to win the fight by unanimous decision... Very strange I think. I found him very domineering though.

This was probably one of the best UFC events I saw in last few months, with so many great fights and even Nate Diaz was so close of winning the fight in last round after he was losing previous four rounds.
Fully deserved win for Adesanya  the king of Middleweight division, and Moreno surprised me with his great performance and I think that Figueiredo main problem is him cutting weight like we saw in previous fights.
Movsar Evloev is clearly going is good direction with his 15-0 perfect score and I can see him as challenger soon in Featherweight division.

somehow moreno dominates the fight he had been attempting many times to takedown and getting on the back of Figueredo to choke, failed several times. i think  figuerido gave up his neck in the last few minutes. the unanimous decision i think will still be Moreno for the win. this is one of the matches that i enjoyed.
vettori didn't change any of his fight plan and adesanya is impressive in preventing takedowns.

Chris Lee seems very suspicious maybe he bet for Figueiredo to win we can not say for sure but the score cards never lie that he has done something Moreno has keeping the pace of the fight on both 2 rounds, I have bet for Deiveson Figueiredo but that fight was not the Figueiredo that I have seen in the 1st fight or Brandon Moreno has just upped his performance that I am seeing his domination the entire 3 rounds, especially the 3rd round were he delivers that rear naked choke.

Vettori doesn't upped his performance at all it is still the same, I really hated what he said that he thinks he won their 1st fight but it is clear as day that he can not do anything about Adesanya the whole fight and Issy is always preventing his takedowns. he needs to pull himself together and just like Adesanya fighting is not always won with brute froce alone it is proven that you really need to analyse and think first before getting to landed a punch to your opponent, Adesanya is really right he clearly sees whats going to happen in this fight.

Btw, Vettori thought that he has won this time either. Dont know what is in his head. When Adesanya was announced victorious and they talked after the fight, Vettori told Adesanya that he does not agree with the decision. Who is going to be Adesanyas next victim? Robert Whittaker for the second time probably, as he is below him in the ranking.

Vettori score a successful take down and that is a huge point. I think he is holding on that round and forgot how many punch, kick and elbow adesanya landed in him. Besides that, the re's 1 judge in favor on him that's why he is very hopium that the result is not legit.

Adesanya is very strong on his current division. I believe he will still undefeated if he didn't jump on another weight class. Adesanya fighting style is pretty solid on his current weight.

Bobby Knuckles is the logical opponent and there is not much Adesanya can do here but wait for him. As for Vettori...I'd say CTE. That is the only explanation I can find for his delusions because this only hurts his image. He's not only going to the end of the line for this performance, but he will be five blocks from the line at this point.

Fatal Brain Disease would be accurate indeed, I really hate what his mouth is spouting, maybe there are some people that are saying that Vettori is in an advantage with the 1st and this fight are the people from his camp, his family, and some that are angry of doesn't really like Adesanya that is why Marvin Vettori is forming that delusion in his head,

Israel Adesanya really is formidable in this division but I think he would like to take another belt for the different division to upped the challenge more, but Jan Blachowicz is one tough dude to take.

No, no judge has been in favor of him, otherwise Adesanya would have won by split decision. That's not the case he won by unanimous decision, all judges giving him all the rounds and 50 points against 45 for Vettori

But I understand Vettori because he has received 2 illegal strikes from Adesanya, one hit in the eyes and one kick between legs and Adesanya made fun of that, so I think he deserved one or 2 penalties. Moreover Adesanya had been nearly choked at one moment.

When i saw the fight it looks like the Jon Jones effect as Israel Adesanya clearly poked both the eyes of Marvin Vettori and that had an impact in the fight and he kick in the groin area was hard and that would have decapitated me for an hour  Cheesy. They should have taken a point away for the second foul and i would like to see the scorecard of this fight and how the judges scored the fight.

Massively impressed with Moreno. I expected him to win in this rematch, but I didn't expect it in such style. Fig didn't really get settled in, and was completely outmatched in all departments. While the Nate Diaz Vs Leon Edwards fight was probably the most exciting due to the ending, but Moreno VS Fig was definitely the better overall fight. Adesanya VS Vettori was as expected I guess. Vettori nearly getting a choke at some point, but was largely outclassed for much of the fight. Adesanya could only beat what was in front of him, and with Vettori just seeming like he wanted to stay out of the danger zone against Israel all he could do was what he did on the night. Vettori, at times looked clueless, and was just hugging israel as the hip line, without actually fighting for a position. It was a little weird, almost like Vettori was completely demotivated.

Brandon Moreno impressed me with his performance, i was expecting Deiveson Figueiredo to retain the title before the weigh ins but he had brutal weight cuts and then in the fight he was not in great shape and was outclassed and more than that i was surprised at the fan support Brandon Moreno had in the arena.

While the Nate Diaz Vs Leon Edwards fight was probably the most exciting due to the ending, but Moreno VS Fig was definitely the better overall fight.
I was surprised with the tactics Nate Diaz used throughout the fight and he was eating shots and was overwhelmed by the striking of Leon Edwards but Nate is durable even with heavy leg kicks and when he tagged Leon Edwards he did not jump to finish the fight and a few more blows could have changed the fight.

Marvin Vettori was tired in the later rounds, he might be having a wrestling based attack after seeing how Adesanya lost to Jan Błachowicz and it could swap away the stamina and Adesanya stuffed many take downs and reversed a few as well and when that game plan was challenged Vettori did not have a second plan and may be that is the reason it was a weird fight.

sure, but you can't make a wrestler out of a kickboxer, or a guy like Vettori in a few months so that was a bad decision in the camp IMHO. But it all may have played out to actually showcase that Vettori is still not anywhere near the top as a fighter and that this was all because there was no one else left in the division.

So what is next for Israel Adesanya? many are asking this question on what is next for Adesanya and as you have said there are no one left in the division unless their Wrestling is like the level of Khabib Nurmagomenodov, then they will put Adesanya on the tight spot, well number 1 contender for Adesanya will be Robert Whittaker for a rematch I really think Whittaker had secure himself for a rematch against Israel Adesanya, next is if who's going to win against Daren Till VS Derek Brunson and if it is Brunson I think just like Vettori Brunson relied on his wrestling he will just see if who's going to put more pressure on Israel Adesanya.

Yup.  And well deserved.  He seems to be a really nice guy judging from the interviews and press conferences we’ve seen.  And the thing with Adesanya is the way he pops back up from his back.  If Vettori could pin him down on the ground the fight would’ve been much closer.  Kudos to the champ.

Anyway..  On to the next event.  TKZ vs Ige.  It’s a good match and I edge TKZ slightly.  The line would be in his favor if he hadn’t lost to Ortega in the way he did.  Value lines I could see for the event are Davey Grant at 3 and Julian Erosa at 2.2.  I think they should be closer imho.

I'd assume Robert Whittaker would be next for Adesanya. Although, he has beat him in the past, Whitaker in my opinion is very capable of beating Adesanya on his day. Although, the thing with Whittaker is his strengths are Adesanya's strengths. So, because of the stylistic match up, Robert Whitaker last time ended up getting pretty beat up. I'm not sure if he's improved enough, and I know a lot of people are criticizing Adesanya for not knocking out Vettori, but that's because Vettori's style actually protects him from much of the weapons of Adesanya. I expect the Whittaker, and Adensanya rematch to show a lot more threat from both sides, with it ultimately ending in a KO. I still favour Adensanya, but Whittaker is probably one of three fighters in the division that I actually think can trouble Adesanya.

I can't see Whittaker or anyone else from middleweight category winning against Adesanya any time soon and it will be harder for them to fight in New Zealand or Australia because of their lockdown rules and Dana White wants only full arenas, UFC Apex or fight islands.
I wonder if we can see some super fight between Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya, and I know there is weight difference of 15 LBS or 7kg.

Korean Zombie is back fighting with Dan Ige and this should be one interesting fight to watch in featherweight category.
I am not so much interested on other

Actually I am thinking the same thing aswell, Whittaker has the arsenal to win against Adesanya but in terms of power Robert Whittaker really lacks in that department but I am not saying he isn't able to knockout his opponent but in terms of strength feats with Adesanya if this rematch continues I still be betting for Adesanya to win, Adesanya had proven that he can outwit bigger opponent but the case with Whittaker, Robert Whittaker is thinking ways to defeat his opponent aswell, but like I have said the terms of their strength will surely show on the octagon when they clash again and if Robert Whittaker really improve in the past, we will surely see that inside the ring,

In the case of Vettori I really think Issy doesn't need to knock him down, to prove that his a better fighter, many have know who's really dominant inside the ring and how many round Israel Adesanya have taken.
