4521  Local / India / Re: CASHAA HACK. Who TF is Kumar Gaurav, BEWARE!! on: July 12, 2020, 05:24:29 AM
I took part in the Cashaa ICO bounty campaign for some twitter promotions and had received some tokens. But very soon they asked for KYC because something had gone wrong and they needed to KYC all holders to be able to swap new tokens to them and older tokens were useless.

Me being diligent about such tactics decided not to and left their groups, accepted those coins as a lost cause and decided to forget about it.

It is true that Cashaa was a fintech ICO and was having an Indian team behind it. It had some investments from some companies here too but as we all know they are all under the table deals and part of the bigger scam.

Original topic was here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2272412.0

Looks like the thread OP decided to delete the OP and distance themselves from the project. Embarrassed
4522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how big? on: July 12, 2020, 04:14:30 AM
Casino is one of the most profitable business and if we get this number, it may surprise many of us.
Another way to evaluate them is the number of lambos the owners bought. Grin

Honestly the casino business is a profitable one but it has its own downsides too. From a players perspective they dont mean much but they do mean a lot when you become the house.

Although the article is old, people who are addicted gamblers will always play no matter what happens to the world outside, they need their fix for the day. Professional games like poker of course gets a more amount of "ante" than others and thus the casinos do keep a lot of income.
4523  Economy / Economics / Re: Government+cryptocurrencies on: July 12, 2020, 04:09:39 AM
I agree that cryptocurrencies must be accepted by governments for their correct use.
Do you understand the consequences of that? It is bad for the governments to accept bitcoin because a lot of people are against it and it would be a highly politicized case. The ruling party would be heavily blamed for accepting something that has been used according to them as a mode of money laundering and thus seeing the biased opinions about it governments would not venture into such process if it is avoidable.

The crypto community has realized that it is a digital asset that could support economies in these times of crisis and we are sure that we can provide our knowledge to our local communities for rapid adoption.
Realized what? How many countries out there actually allow crypto on their grocery shops? Other than the North American and few first world and some third world countries, the biggest and most densely populated countries do not allow cryptocurrencies to be used. So your logic is false in the sense that it does not have any proof. Of course digital payments may have increased in frequency but that is fiat payment systems not bitcoin payment systems.
4524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stock to flow showing we are at the start of a Bull Run on: July 11, 2020, 07:02:00 AM
People like me are anticipating the bull season though. If it's not going to happen this 2020, we will still be waiting for it to happen next year again. We're all waiting for it every year actually.  Let me just call it HOPE, we hope for its coming.
You are not the only one here. Grin Pretty sure 99% of the forum users here want that to happen and that hope is what drives them to live another day with the dream of becoming rich. Cool

Chart looks good but ts just a chart, what we really wanted is for BTC to break that ATH $20,000 - $30,000 this year probably. It only needs to break that $10,000 resistance I think it will be unstoppable already.
This year did not start nicely so I am not hoping 30k this year. Maybe towards the end of the year if things become better we will see 10k USD but definitely not the double of that. You see even 10k is difficult to maintain. Price touched that much when the halving happened momentarily. People are having sell orders at that price and that drags it down.

I am myself surprised to see 9k hold out for so long and I am happy to see it. But holding 10k USD is going to be a challenge worth witnessing.
4525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stock to flow showing we are at the start of a Bull Run on: July 11, 2020, 05:52:46 AM
The charts dont always speak the future. Get that reality into your head.

It may point towards the market psychology but not completely, more like a 50-50 take, like I have previously said. It may point to a bullish trend but maybe not a bullrun. You have to define what a bullrun is in your vocabulary before saying so. I consider nothing less than five digit bitcoin price to be the next run anything less is just a temporary pump.

In any case if its a pump that is going to happen a dump will happen soon too. Bitcoin has been stagnant at 9k for more than month now. If it has become a support level then the dump will reach back here.
4526  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 11, 2020, 05:44:10 AM
someone here from the Bitcointalk forum has already won the highest prize. ?  lucky number 1000 and got ~ 0.02172248 BTC  Wink
it's going to be very, very rare for anyone to win that kind of money . my highest win so far was ~ 0.00002172 BTC
You can see my thread on my big win too. The image proxy has now removed the image but my thread is still there. It was 4years ago and I was just starting to get my hands on faucets doing them for a few hours everyday.

Got 200$ from Freebitcoin today morning, call that a BIG WIN << I got the bragging rights for that! Grin

I would call myself very lucky that I was able to hit that number withing a span of 4-5 months. I still consider that the amount of time spent on claiming faucets could be used to do something more productive and so I spent more time after that on getting referral campaigns for the site and other sites. Just an advice, dont be pumped up seeing some users big wins, better to understand that the chances are very low and its reasonable to do 2-3 claims everyday but not more. Dont let it become an obsession.
4527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers can do better on: July 11, 2020, 05:35:43 AM
Good suggestion they offer their services through chats but if a particular bounty manager asks for this, the project developer will just hire another bounty managers who will not ask these conditions but if they will unite and make this as a condition that will be good for all the managers reputation and for bounty hunters as well.
You should read what @btcltcdigger has said.

Since the third world countries have a cheap wage compared to other countries bounty managers face a similar problem because both are competing for the same job. While someone asks an amount in return for a spam free and well managed campaign another one asks for lower fee but similarly well managed campaign. This leads to a professional jousting and thus is bad for the overall system of bounty manager, project owners and bounty hunters.

As long as the hunters accept that participating in a bounty does not guarantee a payment and follow that mentality they should be fine, if they tend to become very sad on being denied payment, they should look for other earning methods.
4528  Economy / Economics / Re: Government+cryptocurrencies on: July 11, 2020, 05:31:11 AM
Unfair war? Possible from our point of view. Because we often dont see both sides of the "coin" and tend to traffic one sided opinions in delusional manner.

Governments have a lot of work at hand. Similarly when you have work at hand which are having more priority and someone is hammering you to do something else of less priority, what would be your situation? Same with the governments here.

Of course to the person who needs something, this seems "Unfair" that their reason is being given less priority but it is what is true.

Many countries have allowed the use of crypto like North American countries, so I am very optimistic about the future in the Indian subcontinent too. We will get more governments accepting bitcoin usage as per their people needs but it will take time.
4529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Please do not look for him to develop new coins, he is a liar! @Remapper is a li on: July 11, 2020, 05:26:22 AM
OP if you have been scammed by that user, use the proper format of a scam accusation and post it in the proper section which will be here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Provide the proper proofs and see what can be done. If the proofs are solid then the account can be given a flag to warn others. Just caling someone a liar will not work here.

Also not telegram messages screenshots because those are easily manipulated. But lets see anyway.

Best if you move this thread to scam accusations and edit the first post with proof.
4530  Local / India / Re: Binance Exchange sy Payoneer Accounty m Bitcoin kasa send krta hai on: July 10, 2020, 04:27:29 PM
I will reply in English, if you are from Pakistan as per your older posts, just use google translate to get in Urdu or other languages.

You have to use a service that allows p2p transactions like Localbitcoins where people who have money in their Payoneer accounts and are willing to send you that money in exchange for bitcoin.

More about it here - https://localbitcoins.com/guides/how-to-sell-bitcoins-online#toc4

You can also open a trade thread on "Currency Exchange" quoting your price and fee and wait for offers from other users. Please use an escrow to be safe here. Do not send bitcoins first, send to the escrow and then follow up with the other party to send. There are too many scammers in that section of the forum.
4531  Other / Meta / Re: Paraphrasing, is it ok? on: July 10, 2020, 03:04:29 PM
I remember seeing some threads pop up in "Services" about "word spinning" services, where someone is hired to use synonyms and similar phrases to rephrase an article and post it on several places, can be different forums. This reduces the chances of being nuked due to direct plagiarism but it is still a type of copy pasting.

I have also seen people do this - convert one article from English(1)>Russian(2)>English(3) and then the end result is that article (1) and (3) are not completely same. Maybe they used more than one machine translation service as well.

Chinese Whispers game anyone? Roll Eyes

Anyway IMO it is similar to plagiarism and the user should be given same punishment that a plagiarist would get.
4532  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nexo - "Earn 8% dividend a year with no risks" on: July 10, 2020, 05:54:21 AM
I remember an article not long ago talking about the average amount invested in this platform. It showed that most people aren't the typical average Joe, not the middle class I mean. And you won't see "rich guys" posting reviews on Trustpilot
The point is that the majority of the crypto "venturers" are wanna-be get rich quick mentality people. They are not as diligent as traditional traders of wall street and others which is the reason why we see so much FOMO, among other factors.

I consider these crypto lending startups to be what is having a similar outcome of mutual funds though they are completely different things. Mutual funds go to stock, bonds and gold market investments while crypto lending money goes to borrowers who will be going for the crypto market or gambling. Even then, I am more inclined to keep my coins under my control because it is crypto after all, loads of legal gray areas and points that can end up being against in based on your country's legal status of bitcoin.

Reviews are not to be trusted. Every business makes some allocation to social media buzz and they drive these fake reviews. In general a review is always biased, unbiased reviews are very very rare.
4533  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 10, 2020, 05:48:18 AM
but you could literally claim free faucet AND also get free ticket and you can win from them both at the same time, unbelievable.
That is correctly the reason why the site is unique. On any other crypto casino we have to buy tickets seperately, there is no chance for the "freeloaders" to take part in the draw. This shows that freebitcoin has remained honest to its original branding as a faucet and additionally a dice game which has now incorporated sports as well.

I would consider the lottery draws to be just as random as the 200$ faucet roll. Just do some claims everyday and dont get too stressed out or lose sleep on claiming. You are both the chance to roll that number on faucet and entering the lottery.
4534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: NEW STYLE OF CAMPAIGN on: July 09, 2020, 06:29:21 AM
Define burst posting. According to this campaign every poster who does more than 1 post in 4 hours is burst posting. I feel like this requirement was added on purpose to reject almost all candidates from the start.

They can have any requirements they want but we can criticize it. A 4 hour gap between posts is far too long and the reward is extremely low. It doesn't look like it's worth the wffort they require.
To be honest I would agree. It does seem a lot to ask for from posters. A 1hour posting gap is good in my opinion but a 4hour gap means that they would have to wake up in the middle of the night to make a post before posting in the morning.

Again there was a scam accusation against the project posted by another user here against this project. I would suggest bounty hunters to be careful again. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5260728.msg54752751#msg54752751
4535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber or Airbnb running on bitcoin on: July 09, 2020, 05:27:07 AM
That would be a great idea with this current situation, where there are some public vehicles that are now allowed to drive, it would make the driver and the passenger to have contact to each other because the passenger can pay through his or her device using the bitcoin.
I know it sounds great to hear but be realistic here fellow member, we wont see big companies accepting bitcoin anytime soon. It will take time and maybe by then Uber wont be there anymore or a new ride sharing system based on cryptocurrency payments may have started giving competition to the mainstream ones.

Currently everyone is obsessed with the pandemic situation and thus thinking in these terms, but we have to understand that this is not a permanent thing, so it should not be the theme here.

Also many drivers come from low income families. It is tough for them to keep their money secure because crypto does need a little to a lot of technical know-how at least in the beginning on how to keep money secure. It would be heartbreaking to see a poor but hardworking driver losing money because of a sophisticated crypto scam.
4536  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Post-Airdrop Project Management Strategy on: July 09, 2020, 05:20:27 AM
If what the OP says is not false, they have developed everything successfully. Getting a working CEX and wallet is already a big thing.

Problem is telegram and social media campaigns are bloated with inorganic results. Those 40k+ downloads are actually only 20% or less organic because the people who are getting paid for downloading them are running bots. Thats how unethical the social media "buzz" is and thus cannot be trusted with numbers.

Airdrop campaigns are not useful if you are trying to drive a legitimate project. It is very much the opposite.

On the contrary, OP can post about the project here and its beta/alpha CEX website here? That would start the process of getting some organic signups on it.
4537  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 09, 2020, 05:16:21 AM
seeing this makes me more motivated to continue what i started
It is good that it makes you motivated but it is better if you understand that these rolls are not common and you are only seeing the big wins here. There was probably years of attempts to hit that, even then the chances are small.

Quote
ive been claiming on and off for almost 3 years now  because ive been unmotivated sometimes as i only got the first and second to the last reward  but this is not my first time to see someone winning a decent amount ,
There is no guarantee that right after this roll the next one is going to be 10,000 - it is a matter of luck only. I was lucky to win it once upon a time but that does mean everyone is going to win it.

Quote
im only hesitant because those who said who win are only newbie accounts   .
That is however a different thing. The players after winning post here, most of them did not have any bitcointalk account previously. But it is your choice to accept what you wish to think of it.

Quote
i change my routine and i buy tickets now in the hopes of snatching the lottery  prizes
Even the lottery is not something that you will win everyday. It also depends on your luck. You may buy the lucky number of tickets or just one ticket, the person winning it is random and so the chances are small too, otherwise it would not be a lottery at all. Grin
4538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: July 08, 2020, 06:19:32 AM
OP talk about how slots give you small earnings on every other roll and keep you winning - this is a partly false statement. Of course you do win something on every roll a small amount but that is nothing compared to the amount of loss that you incur with every lost bet.

That small amount is only blocking your vision from seeing that you are continuously losing and giving your that implusive pump that you must bet more and more because you are winning (falsely)

Truely speaking, slots is an EV- game just like dice. You may get a lot of sensory overload with the colours, music and lights but these are only distractions to keep from seeing your losses. They are both going to make you lose more than you win if you dont stop at a point of win.
4539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is movo cash? on: July 08, 2020, 06:14:22 AM
I noticed the spam too, I mean it is obvious not to notice a sudden flood of threads of this certain "cash". Possible that is an organised shilling group using more than one account to post in the forum and generate a fake buzz which is common among altcoin marketing campaigns though considered unethical, but being a forum such ethics are not a thing here.

But is this linked to this one - https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/movocash-inc

I also found this new article which is 2 years old - https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20180511005629/en/MovoCash-Launches-New-Service-Converts-Crypto-Cash
4540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: NEW STYLE OF CAMPAIGN on: July 08, 2020, 06:09:58 AM
OP, a gap between posts is not a bad thing. We have spammers in this forum who tend to burst post that is post at very short intervals. This reduced the amount spreading of posts in between 24hours and probably that is the reason why some bounty managers dont accept burst posters. I know this might seem bad for the hunters but it is done to make sure the signatures get enough views.

If you dont like it, dont participate in it. No use complaining because if it is in the rules you have to follow it or if you are desperate for money you should look for a better job.

It is not a new style, but already an old style, maybe you noticed it late. Roll Eyes
