4522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: August 21, 2021, 03:02:54 PM
Bitcoin is now rising, and it has jumped by 3k in less than 10 minutes. Although everyone is happy but also worried, is it going to fall again?
My friend asked if I can continue to buy it? But I see a lot of people commenting that giant whales are now controlling the market. I told my friends not to enter the market for now, but my friends seem to have misunderstood me.
Do you think that this kind of market should be forbidden to enter or continue to buy?
I suggest not to panic selling。

When it comes to investing advice it's always on individual preferences or decision as long as they know the risk and they know the market condition if your friend wants to buy because they believe that it's a good time to buy and he is investing what he can afford to lose, then let him proceed, in my experience, I always tell my friend to read a lot and fill themselves with the relevant informant that will help them to buy and sell at the right time.
4523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 21, 2021, 11:40:00 AM

With his current age, of course it will be difficult for Pacquiao to win a KO/TKO victory over Ugas, especially if Ugas is a boxer who has strong stamina and of course the age factor is younger than pacman.
Even though,I favoring Pacman as the winner in that bout to claim the WBA (Super) welterweight world title.
I think pacquiao might benefit a little, because Ugas is not the aggressive type of boxer like Errol Spence Jr style of play.

The last time Pacquiao knock down an opponent was three years ago against Matthysse, Matthysse was already an aging boxer and he suffered a knee injury, Ugas is 35 years old but not showing a sign like what Mathhysse has shown, he will have a hard time with Ugas who is known to have a strong chin and can go toe to toe, although Pacquiao is a strong favorite we should not disregard Ugas, he can still pull out an upset.
4524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is not Legalized Despite the Many Benefits on: August 21, 2021, 09:22:52 AM
Because governments are against decentralization and they do not want to lose control of their people's spending and they don't anonymity because they cannot impose on people's income if ever they are going to accept Cryptocurrency they need to be the one to create it and control it, by losing their hold on people financial assets they cannot sustain their operation.
4525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge gains and still holding ? on: August 20, 2021, 12:46:34 PM
The biggest mistake anyone can do is still holding unto their altcoins when bitcoin touched 60k weeks ago and still holding strong when the fall began weeks ago, imagine someone still holding HEX token when the coin did 40x already? If you are someone like this friend I don't know what your aim is but sorry to say you are doing it wrong. Check yourself cos it's possible you are struggling with greed.

Sometimes you really need to learn how to control your greediness and learn how to let go, this is how to make a profit you don't make a profit from too much greediness it happens to me several times, the market is very dynamic it changes instantly and from time to time, you have to decide that will not make you regret later.
4526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 20, 2021, 11:00:19 AM
Today seeing the results of the Sportsbet.io ⚽ Brazil v Spain prediction game:

I noticed that all the guys in the top 3 were at some point participating in the Bitcointalk Poker Series. Now, it's not that a lot of people were participating there, somewhere around 30 ppl max, so I started wondering is there a correlation.

What are your thoughts on this, guys?

I think there is but the story you've shown to us cannot establish the fact, the only correlation is they both need concentration and analysis maybe that contributes to their winnings but like what I said there should be a study if there is a truth that if you are good in sports betting you are also good in poker, you need to be a long time players of both to get a winning percentage.
4527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: August 20, 2021, 12:14:05 AM
Why not I have seen videos of indoor mountain climbing and it's not an easy sport to practice you need strong hands and quick thinking to get to the top, I will definitely bet on this kind of sport, it's an exciting sport to bet on and to watch and every competitor has a good chance to win in the sports it's very popular among mountainous countries but they adopt it indoor as a competitive sport.
4528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do any casinos offer cryptocurrency staking? on: August 19, 2021, 12:20:39 PM
The best gambling platform that offers to stake is BFG token I got my BFG when they launch their bounty campaign, I was one of the lucky bounty participants that got a lot of BFG token I'm still staking my BFG token and I'm getting 5 top coins, it's better than farming as long as you keep their token in their platform you are guaranteed to earn.
4529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: safe moon & shiba inu market [New] on: August 18, 2021, 10:22:54 AM
Safe moon shiba inu With the advent of coins in the market, do they pretend to be extremely popular among the people?  Or do those coins add some value to the market?
But their prices are very low.
Have such coins stabilized in the market in a few years?

I dumped all my safemoon there's really nothing on it that will give value in a long term, no usage no platform it's just a pump and dumps coin and it's more like a Ponzi scheme the moment investors stop buying this coin, that will be the end of this coin, and with it's very huge supply there's no profit to expect here.
4530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a new blockchain that will compete with Ethereum? on: August 17, 2021, 09:55:42 PM
We all know about huge transaction fees, not the most convenient scaling and the difficulties of entering the ecosystem. Are there projects that will provide people with the best conditions for the implementation of their ideas in the cryptoworld?

Binance smart chain is a good candidate from what you are looking for created by the industry leaders with a great vision, it answers all we need for cheap fast transactions and a tool for developers to manifest and implement their ideas, many developers are now migrating and creating a cross-chain on Binance chain.
4531  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io is a blatant scam operated by Dean Nolan on: August 16, 2021, 03:00:23 PM
Betking ended their signature campaign today, but they haven't made any payments to the participants, it seems that this campaign has not had enough impact on their business
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5353071.msg57707082#msg57707082

It will not create a good impact in fact it will be the other way around, old issues on people they scammed surface again, and this signature campaign turn out to be bad for their already bad reputation, 1xBIT will follow because there's really no change in ow the community on how the community perceives them they are still a scam gambling site.
4532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make good profits through ICOs? on: August 16, 2021, 06:38:01 AM
Hi there, I was looking at a couple of ICOs on CMC today (especially at Safelaunch) and it's been a while that I started to analyze the "results" of some previous ICOs like Centrifuge, Bytenext and other random coins.

I noticed that their ICO price was way lower even than the very first opening price, so I was wondering if it could be a good idea to regularly take part in these events, and, if an ICO allows me to freely manage the money I placed in it (for instance, immediately taking back my money if my profit target has been reached).

P.S: with "good profits" I don't mean bullshit like 10x, 100x and "to the moon", (obviously everyone has a different conception of "good profits"), but a decent amount of money that allows me to make an accumulation plan, would be great to see other people's experience.

ICO is not a good way to launch crowdfunding be sure you have done research on the potential of the project you are investing in, problem with ICO is it's being unregulated it all depends on trust and before you count your profit, which is way too early check their roadmap and their potential to get in the top exchanges in the market, no exchange no value, no liquidity and no profit for you.
4533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is not a rival of Bitcoin on: August 15, 2021, 11:03:20 PM
The comparison of the value of etherum and bitcoin is very far, the price of one BTC is $ 45,975 and one Etherum is $ 3,152 (15 August 2021, 16:53:00). Etherum is far behind BTC, although Etherum’s current popularity is great, unfortunately Etherum still can’t be the first in the market. what do you think?

You don't use the price as a basis for comparison you'll look at market cap and the supply, Bitcoin has limited supply compared to Ethereum, they are rivals of course the first spot is always threaten by the one sitting in the second spot and the second spot always threaten to take over the first spot, for me, they are not rival at all, they compliment each other in some way and their success is the success of the technology.
4534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 15, 2021, 01:36:55 PM
Twitch is a streaming site that wants to establish itself in the streaming business and they want to have a good and clean reputation by getting rid of these scam gambling sites that are being promoted by streamers hosted on their platform, these streamers will have to stop and move to other channels, but this move by the management of Twitch has no impact in the Crypto gambling, Bitcointalk is enough to attract more gamblers.
4535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Speculation for the Tron coin (TRX) on: August 15, 2021, 12:15:00 PM

You think maybe Troncoin or TRX is good for long-term investment, that's your choice, but I don't think TRX is suitable as a long-term investment. Long-term investment requires a lot of study and analysis that must be considered. As for BTC, ETH and BNB, I think it's worthy.  Wink

Why not, for me it deserves to HODL long term it's transaction fee is very cheap I can withdraw thousand worth of Tron for 2 cents of Tron and the transaction is very fast it confirms for only a few seconds, this is what every merchants and traders are looking, I'm still hoping that there'll be a pump before the end of the year.
4536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: August 15, 2021, 11:06:22 AM

This new approach brings more interest and now investors are into play to earn NFT system.

The popularity will continue as long as good dev will continue producing good concepts and provide progress, just hope that dev from those successful play to earn games will deliver and not become greed and runaway the money the games that they created. This industry will achieve more success for sure.

Axie Infinity has a huge success and we all know success begets success and many developers are going to imitate what works, we now have a lot of play to earn concept, it's now the trend, but we don't know if it's sustainable for a long time, they are striking while the iron is hot I invested on 2 NFT games I hope I made the right decision in pouring a lot of money.
4537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: August 15, 2021, 10:52:10 AM
I want mine weekly,  so I can change direction if I am losing or adding more funds beyond my capability, in fact, I just created a list of my losses and winning I experienced shortness of funds because of the pandemic, that I need to track how I handle my finances so I can change how I spend them and if there's a need to change your actions for the next week's activity.
4538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: August 15, 2021, 08:14:35 AM
So far, Altcoins are still safe to invest. It's just that you have to be good at choosing which coins you will make long-term investments and have the opportunity to have a good future.

But they are a handful right now, I would not even think of investing on coins with no proven usability and was created because of the hype, pick the top coin in the market and choose new coins that have usability, the most important thing is what they can contribute to the industry in general, a coin is defined by its platform and usability.
4539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 15, 2021, 06:06:41 AM
If I'm a fan watching this fight I will be mad it's not the kind of fight worth spending money or even watching I hop from one tab to another because the fight is so boring, it should have been a UD for Casimero, Rigondeaux did not bring anything to the ring but only to run and dance and avoiding to exchange punches.
4540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do I still have a chance to get profit? on: August 15, 2021, 04:46:41 AM
As long as the project is online and their channels and supports are active, it still has a chance, we just gone through a bear trend, and they are waiting for the right time to get listed we are in a bull market now, so if they did take this opportunity or there still no action, you have to dump your shares at whatever price to cut your loss, you cannot wait forever.
