4521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Recent profitable coins? on: March 13, 2021, 04:45:52 AM
You know about recent profitable coins?
I want to invest in crypto and want to know recent profitable coins? Please help and suggest me about recent best coins. Some days ago i just invest on TwT coins and it give me huge profits.and Btc also.. If have a good suggestion. You can suggest me. Adavance thanked   Smiley
Don't develop this mindset, otherwise you will ruin yourself. DYOR — Do Your Our Resesrch. Whatever token anyone tells you is profitable at this point must be a token they're already hodling which might've even done an appreciable percentage in price already. So, you could be buying it at a high. But if you DYOR you could be buying from the bottom which is what every investor wants. You shouldn't be an exception. BTW, we are in a bull year. Almost any token can be profitable now, whether it has a use case or not.
4522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World Without Bitcoin on: March 12, 2021, 09:26:33 PM
Have you ever thought what would the world be without Bitcoin? Imagine if the cryptocurrency was never invented and we'd still be living with Fiat (paper money and credit/debit cards).
Well, I don't think the people will be missing anything if there weren't Bitcoin in existence. You don't miss what you don't have an idea exists. For crying out loud, pre-two decades ago no one knew there was going to be Bitcoin and we all carried out our normal lives without chaos. It's the same way those who don't have telephone services in their countries live their normal lives without phones. To even bring it down home, my mum doesn't know jack about Bitcoin and she's surviving without it. It's that simple. The only good side to all this is that those of use who know the workings of Bitcoin or have a vague idea of it and the entire crypto thing think life is easier with this phenomenal technology called Bitcoin and the blockchain. At least we are consoled by that fact.
4523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Elon Musk again on: March 12, 2021, 08:11:13 PM
What does anyone think about the latest tweet from Elon Musk in what looked like taking a swipe at Bitcoin?

Actually, TBC reminded me of The Billion Coin; a scam coin that never came into existence since 2017 it was rumoured to be. Its community sadly believe till date that it will one day become a real use case coin. They're still in denial that it's a scam.
4524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: March 12, 2021, 07:10:41 PM
By your ordinary people you mean the government? The banks? A few extremely wealthy folks? I asked because these are the sets I know are truly scared of Bitcoin. The supposedly ordinary people in my books are the masses/poor folks and by all intent, these ones don't seem to be scared of Bitcoin. If anything, the thought of Bitcoin excites them because they see it as a source that could lift them out of their precarious and poor state if they hodl it.

BTW, those in the first classification are beginning to realize that the fud they harboured about Bitcoin are lies but are finding it difficult to make public confessions about it.
4525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A DEEP ANALYSIS ON WHY ETHEREUM IS TERRIBLE on: March 12, 2021, 06:04:07 PM
Just watch the 1 minutes  Wink
To be on the safe side, you have to do the needful by moving this topic to the appropriate section like Rikafip rightly pointed out to you. Otherwise, you risk deletion by a mod.

On the part of ETH being terrible, the exorbitant fees say it all. Look no further.
4526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a clogged network, users will start abandoning BTC for alts. Change my mind on: March 12, 2021, 07:56:33 AM
But okay, it's your choice.
You will surely make a good and  astute marketer or public relations person, honestly; and joking apart. I like your resilience in trying to snap me out of my old way. However, what is sophistication when one isn't safe with it. Electrum's attempt to keep on improving on its app still exposes its users to vulnerability, isn't so? Wouldn't it be wiser to stick with the angel one knows rather than the one unknown? Nevertheless, let me quickly add that I once used Electrum in 2017 or so (at the same time I started using BC) but had to quickly abandon it because of several reported scaring phishing hacks. May be one day I will go back to it. Never say never 🤗

PS: This is also my last response to this.
4527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a clogged network, users will start abandoning BTC for alts. Change my mind on: March 12, 2021, 07:14:42 AM
Okay. If that is your definition of competency, then so be it. Even if Blockchain.com is competent, it's just a matter of time till it gets hacked through one of its many attack vectors.
Well, I like to lead my life on experience rather than hear say. Since I haven't had any issue with it I don't think it will be a learned and wise thing to right them off. The wallet may have a cog in its wheels but this I haven't encountered anyway. May be because I don't hold much sats in my entire portfolio or may be those who notice these issues you talk about are the whales or regular users. BTW, Electrum with all its negative reports, hacks and phishing issues, still get patronage isn't it?
4528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a clogged network, users will start abandoning BTC for alts. Change my mind on: March 12, 2021, 05:50:55 AM
Using a BC wallet is kind of old school, you know. However, the good side to me is that it's very safe. I don't think your perception of it is accurate that it isn't safe. I have been using BC for 4 years now and haven't had any issue with it.
Then what makes you think that a wallet not implementing features that has been around for years is any good? Blockchain wallet might be safe but they're certainly not competent enough.
What makes me think it's safe is because my funds are safe in it and I haven't had any issue using it for years now.

An analogy (May be it will drive the point deeper): That couples this day indulge different sexual positions while making babies and neglecting the missionary position hasn't taken away the effectiveness of the old missionary style adopted by our forebears while birthing our grandparents, and our grandparents while birthing our parents you know?  Grin.

Each to what works for them. I am very comfortable with the BC wallet even to the point that I choose it over the Electrum wallet, any day any time.

4530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are small BTC transactions essentially “Wasted”? on: March 11, 2021, 07:18:51 PM
Going memory lane and taking a peep into my Bitcoin wallet history after reading this OP, I discovered that on October 1, 2017, $0.016btc was worth just $69 but today that's $920+. I have had someone send me $1 worth of Bitcoin earlier that same year as a reward for a minor task I did on the forum which was at that time 0.001btc. It was almost like I didn't earn anything. The reward was so small that I could've opted out but the thought of having my first ever Bitcoin drew me in. I anxiously wanted to see what it was like to own it. Today, that same 0.001 is almost $58. So, I would suggest you just leave the meagre amount lie there in your wallet. You never can tell what they will be worth 4 years from now.

Check these two pictures below and you will understand how crazily Bitcoin miners are becoming this day with extortion in fees irrespective of how much is getting sent out.

4531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a clogged network, users will start abandoning BTC for alts. Change my mind on: March 11, 2021, 04:49:29 PM
I don't know if this is just with me as the Blockchain app I use doesn't recognize Segwit addresses (It has never recognized it once since the Segwit thing came to be). It records them as invalid addresses. Does anyone have similar issue?
I have never used blockchain wallet before, but I just downloaded it not quite long for testing, it does not support both native and nested segwit addresses, it is one of the wallets misleading people to pay high unnecessary fee. Although, it is one of the wallet not recommendable for use, also a web wallet which are most vulnerable to online attacks. For it not supporting segwit is also one of the good reasons this wallet should not be used.
Yes, I think it isn't a great thing that it doesn't support segregated witness. It puts me on the alert to warn those I transact with ahead that I use a blockchain wallet so they know they don't have to send me a Segwit address. But I also use other different wallets too, depending on the need. Using a BC wallet is kind of old school, you know. However, the good side to me is that it's very safe. I don't think your perception of it is accurate that it isn't safe. I have been using BC for 4 years now and haven't had any issue with it.
4532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a clogged network, users will start abandoning BTC for alts. Change my mind on: March 11, 2021, 01:57:35 PM
OP, you aren't alone on this. Apart from the transaction fees being a killer, the delay in confirmation time makes it worse. The fees when withdrawing from an exchange to a private wallet is a slit throat experience in addition to the already exacerbated situation. Perhaps, that could also be a reason Dogecoin is gaining momentum as transaction fee is almost like paying nothing. This day, I transact in USDT (ERC). It's very fast and the transaction fee is way too good. May be with time this exodus away from Bitcoin will become noticeable and by then it may have become too late for Bitcoin and the community that so much cherishes it.

The use of segwit addresses is is also very important, it can reduce the fee by 42% for native segwit and by more than 30% for nested segwit.
I don't know if this is just with me as the Blockchain app I use doesn't recognize Segwit addresses (It has never recognized it once since the Segwit thing came to be). It records them as invalid addresses. Does anyone have similar issue?
4533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: March 10, 2021, 10:37:31 AM
In this March, I can't make my own satisfactory trade due to my wrong decision and research. But I got some profit from BNB and used buy back policy again and again. Today, I sold my all BNB token at around $245 but now it is still bullish in mood. The next major resistance is located at the $300 level. So I need some suggestions whether I go for buying it again or should I stop here.
BNB is a fantastic coin to buy and hodl at this time. It's not just because the Binance exchange is the top leading exchange but for the fact of what CZ has been able to do with BNB as a smart contract. This will perpetually keep the coin in high demand just like what ETH ERC has been able to do. Even if BNB crashes, it will rise back like a Phoenix. The demand will always be there for it as both old and new projects are now moving away from the ERC chain because of gas fee to BSC. However, if you want to buy back, now isn't the right time considering you sold around $245 and the current price is way above that. Wait for a correction and then reenter.

4535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does BITCOIN make a person's life better !? on: March 10, 2021, 05:01:36 AM
If you look thoroughly, then BITCOIN is just money, but like money, can it improve the world around, and humanity as a whole !?
I don’t think “good” and “BITCOIN” are the same thing, most likely the opposite.
Because of money, a person becomes weaker, he does not need to do something, to develop, because money will do it for him.
Your reasoning is flawed on the surface value, even without going into the denotative which of course is without substance. I don't mean to be harsh here or mean with you. Take a look at Facebook's Mark Zukerberg, would you confidently say his wealth has made him "weak" or lazy? If anything, dude is still working his ass off to better Facebook. What would you also say of Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffet, just to mention but three. I think the general behaviour is poor folks constantly beefing rich folks. The envy is crystal clear. On if Bitcoin makes a person's life better: the answer of course is a big fat YES!

4537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Younger Generation and Revolut on: March 07, 2021, 01:49:18 PM
This is the exact thing I would do — hold her by the hand. It's not enough that she's showing interest in Bitcoin, you have to make that interest worth its while for her. She can easily get distracted once she ignorantly falls victim of hack or scam. As her father and a veteran member of a Bitcoin forum you just got your first close ardent Bitcoin disciple. So, make it count. Don't be a distant observer to her. I don't think monitoring and directing her on this will be counted as infringing on her privacy or freedom if that's what you're worried about.
provides basic knowledge about bitcoin, how to get started, where to buy and sell it is what needs to be done from the start. Children today who have an interest in bitcoin have the potential to become even greater bitcoin activists than you. Don't let them fall victim to hacking and fraud, you have to direct them to the right path and warn them about the risks they will face. Teaching it directly will certainly give them encouragement and indeed, not only being observers but being a good teacher will make them experience rapid development. provide a good and correct education and become a teacher until they understand what they have to do in the future.
I guess you tagged me wrongly because you seemed to have reechoed what I said, thinking I said the opposite 😂.

Well, I for one believe there is nothing like starting something at the right time. There's never a right time. The right time is always now. Again, my little knowledge of biology tells me that a kid's mind is a tabula rasa — an empty book, so to say. And as such you can write whatever you want on it and it becomes an impression or learning. Whatever you teach anyone at young age stays with them longer than it would if taught at adult age.
4538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its a bull trap now on: March 07, 2021, 06:14:08 AM
While I think the Bitcoin market has gone fairly on the rise from late 2020 till now I still think it isn't yet saturated to drop. At least, not at the moment. There's still room for upward movement. The alts season is not yet come until Bitcoin's dominance on the total market cap depreciates. As it is now, Bitcoin can still do more push, even up to $60k from the two different charts — 4hrs TF and Daily.

4539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Younger Generation and Revolut on: March 07, 2021, 04:16:48 AM
If you are that worried about your daughter using Revolut, I think that you should teach her the hard way so she can secure her bitcoins.

4540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where does Elon and Saylor store their bitcoins? on: March 07, 2021, 02:50:50 AM
After all the hype, does anyone have information on this? I reckon blockchain analytics should follow those coins of the new VIP of the bitcoin community and follow the movement of their coins.
To be honest, I believe Elon Musk already was into Bitcoin several years ago. He can't be that tech savvy and not tried Bitcoin or cryptos before now. It doesn't add up for me, knowing him as a risk taker. What just happened now with his open confession of acquiring some is just to get the media buzzing. Remember, it isn't just Bitcoin alone. He also supports Dogecoin. Again, what does anyone have to gain monitoring the movement of any other person's Bitcoin. Does it add anything to one? Well, except one is a research student on Bitcoin, otherwise it's a fruitless adventure.
