I guess I lost my humor somewhere today. Sorry
4543  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 22, 2015, 03:56:13 PM
Sorry, can you rephrase that or post a link? Do you now accept Full members and pay in BTC?
Their thread is a bit confusing. It says that they only accept Sr Members and above however they currently have two Full Members enrolled on (what I assume) is the same rate, 0.0008BTC/post. Maybe contact themerkle before making any changes to the OP.

Looks like they accept Full Members at the same rates like Senior Members.
Reference: here

Thats how I understood this as well -> http://pastebin.com/TwkUThHM

Makes them the highest paying for full members now, should be filled up soon.
4544  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 22, 2015, 03:31:37 PM
Just little change in The Merkle campaign:

After I did the code is accepted Full Member rank with rate as for Sr.Member - 0.0008. Wink

Sorry, can you rephrase that or post a link? Do you now accept Full members and pay in BTC?
4545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions - how to reduce fees? on: November 22, 2015, 01:57:17 PM
-snip-
Another question: So, it does not matter what wallet I use? Does it help if I were to use only blockchain.info wallet?

No, its a network thing. There are services that pay the fee for you though like Xapo. I dont use it though so I am not sure what the catch is.
4546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions - how to reduce fees? on: November 22, 2015, 01:38:19 PM
-snip-
When I go to the block chain to look through my transactions, I realised my common address has many outputs after I tried to send all coins. My question is: Aren't all transactions at a common address "merged" or "flattened"?  Huh  Huh
-snip-

Nope. It does not matter if you receive coins on a different address or not. Each time you receive coins its an input you can use later. If you dont combine the inputs in advance (and pay a fee for doing so in a TX) they will increase the size of the TX in byte which increases the fee.

What you can do - maybe - to lower the fees is the to lower the number of inputs. If you get them by withdrawing from services, consider withdrawing less often.

Can i use this avatar? Please see in my profile

Just dont go around pretending you have some special rank or you are satoshi.
So it mean can't use this avatar?

I dont think there are any rules about avatars besides NSFW which does not apply here. Use it for all I care, but it might look like you are trying to impersonate satoshi or someone else with a special rank. Wouldnt end up well for your trust rating if you tried something fishy with it.

What would it cost me to create 1Referee or 1referee? Will it be only in letters or also include a number as for example -> 1Ref3ree ??

Any of the two 1Referee or 1referee would cost you 0.2635 BTC and would take a few weeks.

If any combination of e's can also be 3's (19 total prefixes) it would cost you 0.0275 BTC and would take a few days.

How much does it cost me for 1lihuajkl? case don't matter.

1lihuajkl w/o case would cost you 0.0165 BTC and would take 1-2 days.
4552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use fiat to buy things on Amazon.com? on: November 21, 2015, 11:02:55 PM
I'm curious if people who actually know about Purse.io still actually pay full price for things on Amazon when you could be getting your purchase at a 20% discount.

I'd like to know your reasons why. For my friends and family I understand because they're scared of this "bitcoin" thing, but for those who use Bitcoin, why would you not?

If you don't buy things on Amazon...not really asking you anything here.

Well you cant actually pay full price, max is 99% last time I checked. Last time I bought something via purse.io I paid 99% and added a little extra for shipping. Mainly because those grinding their ass for some amazon points and selling them on purse.io to make a living should not be forced into a discount. Im perfectly fine to pay the full price, I just want to pay in bitcoin. Even with purse.io its a pain because I have to use .uk.co instead of .de which means everything with a plug uses a different outlet.

I actually don't use purse.io even though I know about it. I am a little concerned about purse since it is pretty much a carder's paradise. So much credit card fraud happens there and I don't want to be involved in that.

I use a bitcoin debit card for my purchases.

They escrow now and IIRC even insure against CC fraud up to 1000 USD.

How much would a 1panthers address cost me? Case does not matter.

1panthers w/o case would cost you 0.0042 BTC.
Can you also give me a quote for 1panthers59 and 1panthers1 please? Also give me a PGP signed address to pay to.

Repeating from above for the signed message.

1panthers w/o case would cost you 0.0042 BTC.

1panthers59 w/o case is outside of what I can do, it would take >1 year.

1panthers1 w/o case would take a 1-2 weeks and would cost you 0.2314 BTC.
Id prefer to start with quicker solutions, but if you are willing to wait I will do it.

Payment address for you is: 1BVbL7QVSctc8qfMonBTn6BofpRBFumqyj

Keep in mind that I cant start without a public key.

I've changed my HDD and I have installed new Bitcoin Core instance. I have archive of wallet.dat, transactions, sending and receiving addresses exported from old one. Copying old wallet.dat is okay, but how do I import tx's, sending and receiving addresses that are archived in .csv files? I'm not sure why Bitcoin Core has 'export' option but missing 'import' one?

Its all in the wallet.dat file. AFAIK there is no import function.

Let's say, I would have access to all the hasing power of antpool (about 120 PH/s) how long would it take to find the private key associated with 1FfmbHfnpaZjKFvyi1okTjJJusN455paPH?

Assuming they use ASICs (everything else would be insane) it would take you

forever

because bitcoin mining ASICs only do double sha256 which is not what you need to brute force an address. Thus you have 0 tries per year.
4558  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Vanity Addresses! on: November 21, 2015, 07:50:03 PM
In case someone is wondering: first you need to generate the address by moving the mouse, then a vanity address option will appear.

There is no vanity option before you generate the address with the mouse or with random letters(not recommended because what you type never is really random)

Thanks, improved the steps.

The two have not given me a public key yet. Not sure why, but I have given them until tomorrow to provide one. I will give away two more if they dont answer.
