The above coin has now been sold pending payment. I have made a counter-offer to DebitMe regarding the Ravenbit coins, so they may be gone soon!

Sounds like whoever ran this altcoin, was either incompetent or downright fraudulent - either way I wouldn't expect them to pay out such a bounty. It is rather common for altcoin owners to conveniently get hacked, everything is shut down and then they disappear.

This sort of site is always suspicious, and there is always a catch. I take it that they pay you for clicking links or following advertisements? It might work, however from a quick search it looks like the minimum payout is 0.15 btc, worth approximately $2,244. Outside of bitcoin, these sort of sites pay like 0.01 cent per click, so it would take a quarter million clicks before you could withdraw funds.

Could you describe what you mean by "50k transaction of UNIT currencies for yobit"? Did you try to sell another crypto currency and wanted to convert it to bitcoin? Was the coin still functioning on the exchange at the time or were you just trying to cash out a currency that was dead? Yobit have many scam reports around here and there seems to be little response from the staff, good luck with your coins.

There doesn't seem to be any particular reason to invest in Winter, if you want to buy it you should just go for it. The price of bitcoin seems to be detached from any other factors, it has become a beast of its own. The best thing you'll find is general trends, but it is so high right now that it could reverse before it carries on up.

You could have just added your thought to the dozens of other threads here guessing at the same thing. Why do you think it will be $20,000 this year? Have you done technical analysis on it? It is better to share a theory with evidence, otherwise you are just another random person with an opinion.

From all the altcoins, LTC is the one with the brightest future. It is implementing all Core technologies ahead of bitcoin, and it is more apt for daily payments than bitcoin itself.
Its correct value is 1/12 of bitcoin, which is the historical value of silver in relation to gold.
You make an interesting point, but why do you think there should be any correlation between BTC and LTC? It is nothing like the connection between gold and silver - that is to do with physical demand and sources of supply. If, as you say, LTC offers a better technical implementation than bitcoin, it should perform much better.

If you trust anything that this man says, you are a fool. He only looks out for his own interests, it will be a mere coincidence if Bitcoin were to reach such heights. He created "McAfee" software and now warns people not to use it. He ran a compound in South America where a lot of unseemly things took place and then ran away when the police came for him.

It's always good to point out abuses like this, but this is typical of so many "altcoins". They whip hundreds of people into a frenzy, claiming to be the next big thing, and simply use them to perpetuate a giant pyramid scheme. There is always an end or payment date and everything is built towards that, the owners rely on peoples trust to that point and then simply disappear - a whole lot richer. It is very easy to buy accounts on this forum, so it is unlikely that you will be able to pin down the real person behind it.

Your "scam accusation" is very hard to read and understand. What were you trying to buy from this user? Seeing as you used Paypal, which you are warned not to use for crypto-currency, there is a small chance that you can get the money back. It might be helpful if you directly link to his user profile as it'll get people to give him a negative trust rating.

If you cannot fund your own trip to "challenge" bittrex, then you probably won't have the skills it takes to get the money back. People who get their money back, do it through lawyers and the court system, otherwise you are just a vigilante who will end up in jail. "Sure, nothing good may come of my trip" sounds like you want everyone else to fund you a little holiday.

That's one good way to verify a website got hacked, if the email address you only used there starts receiving mail. Did it only happen today or have you received other emails in the past?

First off, if you are buying a Paypal account - you are doing it wrong. Unless you setup and verified the account yourself, it will likely be blocked in a short time. You will not find a "reputable" trader of these accounts anywhere, because these big companies do not allow it on their platform. It looks like this scammer is trying to lure in lots of different people: gamblers, microsoft software, etc.

It looks like you've found out how to give them negative trust, this will help to warn people off doing business with them in future. However, I doubt you will get much sympathy here when you were trying to buy an account. It undermines trust throughout the forum and has been abused many times in the past.

There have been many warnings here about using Yobit and a search engine query would throw up the same reports. It sounds like you were doing something suspicious, like creating fake transaction traffic on a listed coin. If that is the case then don't expect to get anything back.

It's a nice enough piece, but did you reach out to Mike - the creator of Casascius? You seem to be using the Casascius brand as a major selling point so it would seem like a simple courtesy to make.

Yes, the Papersafe note is now sold to vizique and there was only one available, think it might have been under-priced!

At the current rate, if that is all you've got - it seems like Bitcoin is the biggest winner over the short term. It may be worth 10 times as much in a few years. You will be taking much bigger risks by trying to win with alt coins.

I wouldn't say it is exclusive to atheists, all religions think that their set of moral principals it the correct and true way that life should exist. That does not make any of them right. It is history that built up in a certain way, using religion as a form of "common law" the early ages, leading us to the world we inhabit today. It is a relatively new concept not to follow any religion, pagans across the British Isles were considered immoral by the Romans, but that was a different type of spiritual guidance.
