I would normally agree however maybe some people were after making a quick $ rather than adopting the coin as something they'd want to use, investing previous interest. And now the price has fallen, they're going to pull out of bitcoin and a lot of other investments...
It did look like there were 2 or 3 spikes down and I would disagree crypto markets are correlated to the coronavirus and stock markets but its strange the price has fallen fairly dramatically still imo...

Were you just using faster payments (no cards or anything)?
Have you accessed the site through tor or something also?
If you haven't done any of those I'm not sure what the problem is. You could look into binance's fiat options, they have gbp btc. There's also cex.io or local bitcoins

Copy it to the datadir bitcoin core creates.
For Linux that'll be: ~/. Bitcoin for Windows it'll be: %appdata%/roaming/bitcoin or %appdata%/local/bitcoin
If you haven't configured your own.

Yeah it's in prune mode, you'll have to redo the syncing process once more with the wallet imported...
This is a standard error imo.
The 12 words is probably a password, bitcoin core didn't come with mnemonics in 2013 or any year....

What are you trying to run them on? Your osmayalreadu have a compiler built in you can use.

one of the most important thing about bitcoin is the other side of it(usdt),so there will be more 60 million usdt in markets very soon.
actually usdt is a big side of the altcoins since all of these coins that keep being printed are being injected directly into the altcoin market trying to pump them. if you check the volumes you can see it is higher in altcoin market and also among exchanges it is always the altcoin exchanges that have usdt. is this news going to help and be a enough powerful to increase bitcoin price ?
if it did then it would be the first time. Which coins are likely to get pumped this way? If it's one of the major/high market cap alts then we might see a boost in bitcoins price. If it just goes into some ico at #367 on the rankings then nothing will happen to btcs pricing...

For reading threads I've noticed there's a standard format and a different readable format (sort of an outline format) on Firefox, are there other ways the forum can be accessed?
I've seen an rss thing somewhere in the past (not sure what it was an rss of but I think it was here) is there an overview of the different formatting types smf and this forum supports?

You might want to look into monero extensions or apps. I wouldn't suggest adding a browser plug in as a lot of them will demand a lot more access than they need and if you're using chrome you're just opening yourself up to vulnerability exploits (I think there are more there than there are in Firefox).
BTC won't be mineable on a standard computer anymore...

The graphs of supply of usdt v btc often show this trend, I don't know how the correlation has gone recently, but in the past when tether saw a spike in its supply, btc took a few days to follow so it'll likely still be doing the same again.
If anything it opens up an increase in liquidity without having to kyc and go direct to fiat as its a half way step... And more liquidity generally means a safer looking investment.

I did another transaction over the weekend, my not-so-good estimator said 2 sats was good for 1 hour, so I purposely made the transaction pay only 1 sat and I thought I'd wait a few hours. I think it confirmed under 1 hour anyway.
Was this Friday or Saturday? I think we saw volatility then so we must've shaken out the weak hands from the market already (fees normally zoom when it fluctuates)... I think I used electrum's prediction of within 25 blocks and saw a confirmation after five minutes (I needed to send a fast one) so it's definitely still better to use a flat fee when you can.

Tech support, dev & tech, beginners or off topic...
I'd personally try putting it in dev & tech as it probably fits in there and if discussion can come from it then it might be good...

But at the end of the day everyone will support Bitstarz SCAM.
What do you mean by this? Many people have said they're scam and they are but what would you expect us to do from here? Also @op if they're scam, don't give them more information.... They'll probably just sell it on for a premium as some sort of "richlist" or something....

That news report seems a bit philosophical to me. I don't know the definition of "critically ill" but coronaviruses have complications of causing pneumonia, which, in most cases 70+% of healthy individuals will show fever like symptoms and then go on its own... Generally the problems from coronavirus afaik are caused by hemmorrages opening up in alvioli thar t can't clot and die in typically vulnerable patients, which greatly increases symptoms of pneumonia and can turn it into a propagation stage where recovery becomes inevitably unlikely (in around 2.5% of coronavirus patients and a tiny number of pneumonia patients). They also don't seem to mention face masks at all but the rest of that information seemed reasonable.

The main reason I think why some people are correlating the market price of Bitcoin to corona virus is that, majority of the miners are residing in china. But little do they know that those miners could be on a less harmful area given that not all provinces in china are highly affected, which might avoid the negative influence of such virus to the cryptoindustry.
I think bitmain put a lot of miners in western Europe a while ago with bitdeer. Not sure if they're still there or how that's going but I imagine they are... They won't face too much of an issue if China faces a large problem and a lot of miners are probably pretty young so simple maintenance and updates can still be carried out if you're ill with the virus.

Youre all taking the mental and physical stances as if someone's physicality has high significance and is the only thing we should rely on, if you want to "inspect" everyone you have quite a problem...
To be honest, unless you're hoping to start an eros relationship with them you don't really have much of a need to know what organs they got... IMO.
I don't think it really matters what gender you are or what gender you want to be, you can still be considered whatever you want as long as it doesn't harm anyone... Men and women have entirely different mental states to start with and I'd put your brain above your dna

No BANKS Will make Everything possible to make you to borrow money as much is possible!!
Until 2025 the fiat currency will have inflation rate going up!!
This might be interesting to see, surely such huge amounts of debt could cause a collapse in the economy of the US? The US and EU look poised to have shot themselves in the foot with the acceptance of negative or almost negative interest rates. In 2006/2007 Bush did that, the national debt was increased. In 2008 the economic collapse happened. Trump is increasing the debt too, the economy boom-and-boost is coming. Previous mistakes taught national leaders nothing.
Lizzards don't learn, they don't even have a conscience lol ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . Someone's not been studying their history books well, international leaders never learn from their past mistakes even in modern times... They want what will get them votes, an economy that booms - even if it leads to 81% of companies going bankrupt even with low interest rates - is still an f*ing booming economy and that's all the punters are going to vote for the next few years...

Is it common for the electrum app and folder to reside on the desktop?
That depends on quite a few diddferent things. If you used a standalone electrum (like I use) then you can put it and its data in any folder you want. If you've sent funds from your address already it would be possible to work out whether it is multisig (legacy) or if it is segwit (I'm not sure which is more likely at this stage). If you put the address into btc.com/<youraddress> (omitting the <>) then you should be able to see the transactions in the address, click on an outgoing transaction and scroll down to near the bottom, if it says something like P2SH MULTISIG (3 of 4) then it's a multisig, if it doesn't - it'll be segwit.

Apparently they're just a bunch of scammers, your best bet is to move on from this or try to track them down (but I'm not sure how easy that'll be, try opening a thread in investigations to get everyone to like evidence there or add to a current thread already on that board). here's another topic proving they're a scam... Sadly the internet is becoming more of a free for all rather than a place for legitimate business and facts... I hope it isn't too much of a loss to you.

I'd put this down to the way they interact and show emotions:
Women try to blend in and are like to confirm to societal norms. Shown by a couple of things such as most women wanting to have only one or two friends as apposed to men being in a full group They're also generally better at describing and showing emotions.
These are my current observations and they'll probably change in a few hours but as I've noticed... (small bits are clarifications, I'm keeping it short)
Men, in contract, are generally more outliers to a statistic, a lot of them try to carve their own path - most likely getting hurt in the process but a few over achieve from what was expected of them.
