We also expect to have restocked models from Trezor soon – so check back in with our BitcoinVN Shop team in due time!
Are you guys an official reseller or you just buy a bunch of HW from Trezor and then resell it? I don't find you on their official reseller list btw. Do you support international shipping or just Vietnam?
You're right, I've checked and they are not on the list of the official resellers.

But, I've seen that Trezor is welcoming most of the companies that are wanting to be part of their reseller program. Maybe they are just a new partner from that program and Trezor hasn't updated the list or there is no need for them to list their company.

4543  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Error in seed phrase generation on Coinomi??? on: August 18, 2020, 03:34:45 PM
I advise you to talk to Coinomi's representative on their official Telegram channel and address this issue. They're more responsive there, they have active staff but be careful of those scammers and imitators who copies the name of their official staff. They have reminders as you join that they'll never ask you for your seeds and they won't be the first to PM you.

https://t.me/coinomi_official

It's a closed-source wallet so they can explain what's happening if you'll let them know this.
4544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news on: August 18, 2020, 02:34:45 PM
The peak that we recently saw was $12,300 and $12,400 in some exchanges. While posting here, it is starting to correct so we're on the sign again that those people who have missed the buying opportunity still have enough time to buy.

Correction is occuring and last seen to $11,935 and it could go a little bit more. If seen to be at the range of $11,500 - $11,800 that could be the support and the price which is considerably good to buy unless you want it way lower.
4545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting website on: August 18, 2020, 01:55:00 PM
Are you really sure that you are a bettor and not just someone who works for 1xbet? they planned to run a signature campaign but it didn't do good because they can't even solve their gamblers complain.

What's the impression with that action? They just ignored those people and yet you're here trying to give them exposure with your first post. But if you are a legitimate guy and don't work for them better be off somewhere and start to get a better sportsbook which you can be tied with.

I want to know what does a partner will give you if you're making good money for yourself?
4546  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Where and how to get investment in exchange for ownership in order to expand on: August 18, 2020, 01:18:31 PM
You need angel investors. I can't look for the legit angel investing website although I've seen one yet I can't find the latest listing on this website. https://angel.co/

I'm not vouching for them but check it if there are ideas that suit your expansion. And you might as well get your .com domain if you're planning to go international or those country domains for those targeted countries of your expansion.

Hi,

Thank you for the advice.

We plan to launch in both country with a different domain. For Indonesia, actually we plan to take over a minor Bitcoin .id blog and then build that up. The owner is willing to sell it to us.

In Italy we have few .it domains reserved already.
Nice, so it has been well planned at all. You have already the experience and you're getting a huge traffic so that shouldn't be a problem. I just thought that you haven't looked at it but, I'm wrong and you're already doing it as a good sign of your start.

You can also conduct a public announcement that you are in need of investors for the expansion that you'll do on your website. I think there will be countrymen that will show interest of investing prior to your expansion.

4548  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BlockChain.com not sending Wallet ID Reminder on: August 17, 2020, 04:52:52 PM
I don't think that's the official email of blockchain.com

When I've contacted them a long time ago, they replied to me through
Code:
support@blockchain.com
Blockchain.com is just the name of notify@wallet-tx.blockchain.com or probably it's an old email from blockchain.com.

They also said here
The Security section of your wallet was designed to simplify the process of protecting your wallet. The first step is to make sure you verify your email address. Once you sign up for a Blockchain.com Wallet, you should receive an email from notify@wallet-tx.blockchain.com (we previously used no-reply@blockchain.info) with the subject Please Verify Your Email Address.

Hey, Jawhead, thanks.

I thought that it's an unofficial email from them. AFAIK, if someone signs up on them they are quick to send notifications on the registrant's email as it's automated.

Sutters Mill could also be right but I hope that OP didn't fell for a phishing blockchain site.

4550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: August 16, 2020, 11:07:46 AM
Consider that bounties or airdrops are no longer and they will be encouraged to look for elsewhere to do something that they can profit. I agree to you that skills like trading doesn't just come out with first, second or third try.

It's a process that failures are expected to be encountered in your way. Very easy to say but once applying or getting into the actual thing, the realization how tough it is will be recognized.

And you shouldn't rely on that only since the possible huge losses will occur if you don't know on what you are doing also theirs no steady income we can get from this option and we still have a chances to lose our money even if we are a experience trader since the market is unpredictable that's why we need to have an alternative jobs like social media managing and other skilled job works since this is more profitable and can give as an passive income.
It is the reason why many of us do admire and respect traders that thrives to make a living from it. They have no steady income but professional traders made their fortunes on it.

In expansion of skills, you can always upgrade and study more skills which you think suits you. Actually, this is the time for someone who feels deprived due to the pandemic can start learning new things and start studying new skills.
4551  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger hacked or not? 100k lost on: August 16, 2020, 09:25:55 AM
I'll agree that it could be the guy's fault.

must say fault resulted from his carelessness and  inattentiveness. Even if he was caught up on the hook of the fishing  site Ledger had displayed him the receiving address  to check before signing transaction. Likely he didn't do that  and paid the price.
It's a case-closed. It's his fault and the analysis of o_e_l_e_o is correct, it's either of those factors which led the complainant's negligence of losing his funds.

The guy took the attention of many crypto folks especially, Ledger's and whatever his agenda is, it brought me a short-time fear for my own self-keeping. I commend Ledger's response and how they're willing to help the guy although it's after-sales.

I wonder if Ledger will go after him with the buzz and after damaging their reputation with what he's done.

4552  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin for sale on: August 16, 2020, 07:31:52 AM
I'd be careful with somebody like this guy. Why look for someone who wants to buy bitcoin if you can sell it on exchanges or look for platforms that allows to do P2P trading?

A newbie account and posts about selling bitcoin, sorry but that is what will mostly think.

You have a lot of options and it's the easiest thing to sell on internet with several exchanges to choose from.
What does mean "Newbie account and posts about selling bitcoin" ?
Obviously newbies are not criminals, and they join the forum for their selling or buying needs.
You put all newbies at same name? Or you are trying to call all newbies scammers?
People with old accounts should stop this stupid attitude to every new around.
You guys are around to help people with information, not to point with fingers for no reason calling randomly bad names.
I didn't accuse OP as a criminal, I've only said to be careful and looks like you haven't understood what I said. I'm not calling all newbies like that but if you have stayed on the forum, there were plenty of modus like that which they'll create new account and try to fish some victims that are not aware of their style.

I'm only giving a warning and it's not that hard to sell bitcoin on exchanges and look, the op never get back here after posting this thread. I'm sorry if you misunderstood my warning but you should have read the suggestions of others too.
4553  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger hacked or not? 100k lost on: August 15, 2020, 05:49:03 AM
This made me worried about my Ledger but after analyzing it and reading the thoughts of o_e_l_e_o and everyone, I'll agree that it could be the guy's fault. Does the victim don't hold bitcoin? or he's just mainly into erc20 tokens? where's the TXIDs?

I quickly read and scroll through the replies of the people interested in that tweet. Most questions were asking for the TXID but the author seems to ignore it.
4554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: August 15, 2020, 04:20:40 AM
Forget about bounties and airdrops, learn how to trade on cryptocurrency exchanges, so you can earn good money. Cool
Very easy to say that trading can give us good profit, I don't disagree and that's a real thing for traders. But if somebody trades and he's still new to this environment, he's likely to lose than to make money from trading.

You can be a daily trader or you can be a trader but you'll take action just for those times whenever you see the market is rising or going low. In day traders, they have certain percentages which shall be their target mainly. And for the other type of trader, you hold, you sell when it's high and buy if it's low.

Just take note that it's very difficult to be a daily trader.

People do really easily make out suggestions without any particular warning or tips that it wont really be that as simple as it sounds.Yeah it cant really give the possibilities on making profit
which is way more better compared to other ways but executing such trades wont really be simple and cant really be attained nor be mastered on shortest time as possible.
Complaints are always there and airdrop/bounty earnings is never been considered to be a stable one due to lots of shit projects in the market even on trading when you do deal
up with moving prices its still an unsure thing that you can make bucks iin the end of the day.

4555  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hoidex on: August 15, 2020, 02:51:32 AM
How did you end with a very rare exchange? we have no idea what exchange is. It's not a potential scam, it's a real scam if they have been offering trading pairs before and now that they've gone.

It only signifies that they've made the website just to scam. If you or your friends deposited on it, there's no solution to it. They've gone offline and that means that they have run away with most deposits.
4556  Economy / Gambling / Re: Trustworthy Asian crypto sportsbooks? on: August 15, 2020, 01:51:42 AM
Why it has to be a specific Asian sportsbook? there are many sportsbooks although not based in Asia but are accessible to Asian people.

Ask your friend what's the specific reason for that because if it's just about accessing through sportsbooks, there's no problem with that. He/she can access most sportsbooks while residing in an Asian country.
4557  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ Bet online ᐉ BTC Betting ᐉ Online betting odds on: August 14, 2020, 10:44:09 AM
There's a lot of unsolved accusations you're currently involved also why didn't you just continue your old thread? even if you create a new announcement thread nothing will change most of the players or users here already knew what you're involved to in the past, try to resolve first all the issues before reopening an ANN thread or running your campaign here in the forum.
He thought of it would be resolved by making another thread without resolving the past issues and complaints that were thrown to them. But it won't do good, as long as those complaints remain unsolved, their reputation will be as is.

If they are serious with their promotion and new life for their announcement, they have to fix things first before moving on.

how's gonna be their end in the forum? their business will still be operational even without this forum. however, they will not get the support from the gamblers here..
Yup. They won't get the sentiment of everyone here unless they solve most of the accusations against them.
4558  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freelancing Sites that Pay in Bitcoin/Crypto on: August 14, 2020, 09:13:08 AM
It's been a long time since xbtfreelancer is no longer the kind of freelancing marketplace that everyone will love. They've been out and gone in the business, I don't know the exact year when it started.

But I tried to look at their website and it's no longer accessible.

It's down as per https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/xbtfreelancer.com.html
4559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok is a new social media source for promoting cryptocurrencies? on: August 14, 2020, 07:55:42 AM
I think that TikTok has nothing with crypto-currencies, people are the ones who use social networks to share their interests, and
we can see crypto-currency enthusiasts everywhere. More people in crypto-currencies, more about them we will see everywhere we
go on the internet. It's a good thing for all of us, it's advertising in some way and that will attract more people.
If you have read carefully, OP wasn't associating TikTok with cryptocurrencies but just explained that the last hype for Dogecoin was made of TikTok famous celebrities. It's another social media where crypto enthusiasts send message to the world.

And as for Dogecoin it was a perfect and effective hit. But there's the bad news that has been revolving for TikTok, huge countries have started to ban it.

I read the topic carefully, but the headline is referring about TikTok like it's some new platform for promoting crypto-currencies.
But they are something different, as I said just some random people sharing their interest about crypto-currencies.
Sadly I read about banning TikTok in US, and some other countries. I am not sure that I understand what is the background of this,
why they are banning it? Do you have any clues?
Yup, I have clues why US and India is banning it. Let's go first with US, you know that China and US is in trade war and this pandemic added tension to it. The covid-19 originated in Wuhan, China and that's why this made US to pressure more China.

TikTok is like any other social media platform that gathers data of their users. IMHO, there's more to it and US don't want such app to gather the data of their citizens. As they say, it looks like a threat in data privacy of each US citizen as a TikTok user.

And that's the same reason is as India's.

Just so you know, TikTok is owned by Bytedance, a chinese company.
4560  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Would this bitcoin site be a good idea? on: August 14, 2020, 04:34:43 AM
Instead of a website a Telegram bot is way better imo. Just register your address on the bot, and then wait for notifications. There's no need to design a web, just need a vps to host your bot server.
Are there bots like this that are already existing? Or it has to be made and developed? I think of this as a good idea if you can't manually check your transaction if the network is congested. It eases if the bot will automatically send you a notification that your transaction has been confirmed.

I don't use Telegram that much but on occasions like this, it is very helpful for those who want to save time and only want to wait like me.
