4541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 14, 2021, 02:15:02 PM

Indeed, even if Manny currently has to fight Ugas as an alternative, he wants to immediately focus on his political field. So he will soon end the match with an easy win. In the Philippines he already has a sizable vote, and with 2022 being the first time he officially runs, there should be many generations after he retires.

I would like to correct you, he is already in politics for more than 10 years, and he is gunning for the presidency but he is up against a wall against the daughter of the present president, he needs to win this fight and wins it spectacularly because the boxing community is expecting it, being a heavy favorite and of course he will have a blast for his up coming campaign on what ever position he desires.
4542  Economy / Speculation / Re: No BTC Holding is risky on: August 14, 2021, 12:13:26 PM
I have sold my BTC earlier @$31k-$35k range long ago. I have invested in altcoin then and made some great profits although I had to lose 50% at the end. Now, I own almost no cryptocurrency other than USDT and a few trash coins.

Yesterday, I was scrolling newsfeed on twitter and got someone tweeted like this, "No BTC holding is risky.' This is somewhat true when I thought it deeply. Now, I got the same feeling. It’s risky to not own any bitcoin. Fiat is getting devalued all the time.

Yes absolutely big percentage should be on Bitcoin, I have mine on 50% because it is a coin where its price follows by all altcoins and the market goes up and down depending on what kind of news Bitcoin is receiving, although there are altcoins that's performing good in the market, we should not replace Bitcoin as your leading portfolio because the community still voted Bitcoin to be their main coin in their portfolio.
4543  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Want to Recommend on Great services i found on: August 14, 2021, 10:51:23 AM
Everything here is all made up, even the testimonial is not configured, over 300 clients so they claim but no data in Alexa even 10 real clients will create a good flow of traffic, be careful on a project you are shilling, people will blame you if they got scam here, it made me think that you are the owner and acting as a client on this project.
4544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 14, 2021, 04:05:39 AM
I have being gambling for quite a while now and  I don't think I'm addicted to it but nothing can make me stop gambling. Gambling is like a joy to me, it makes me happy and any time I tried to stop entirely, I would see my see going back to it.

Gambling is intoxicating and can give a great fortune if one is lucky and with the right fate. Can anything stop you from gambling...maybe your family, friends, circumstances or even your losses?

Two things that can make you stop gambling, you run out of money and your family abandon you because of your gambling addiction, these two things will make you realized that you should take a break from gambling and start rebuilding your life again unless you suffer the deepest in being addicted to gambling that's the time you will have the courage to start thinking of quitting gambling.
4545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Smart Chain the "New Ethereum"? on: August 14, 2021, 12:59:56 AM

What do you think? Is Binance Smart Chain the "New Ethereum"? Or is it too early to tell? Do you think it will replace Ethereum sometime in the future? Are current prices sustainable in the long run? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much Smiley

Binance is doing great and they are for me starting out to the road to greatness and they will soon occupy the second spot in the market, I don't want to call Binance the next Ethereum, they deserve to be called the first Binance because there's a big possibility that they are going to eclipse Ethereum on what they brought to the community, and it's only a matter of time.
4546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 14, 2021, 12:40:51 AM
If you are investing or buying stuff for future gains, then it's gambling but if you want to play and have fun on these gaming sites and don't care if about gains then it's not gambling at all, it's what's on your plan and reasons on buying and investing on these NFT games, but it's always buy or invest with spare money so you'll not get disappointed in the long run.
4547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'White Hat' hacker has returned most of the stolen $600 million crypto tokens on: August 13, 2021, 10:51:22 AM
This is still very hard to believe, there is no such thing called honor among thieves, how can an hacker go through a lot to hack a security server just to return the money they stole? This doesn't sound right and I believe that we are only hearing half part of the truth

They are just afraid to get exposed and they are not really criminals because they are tracked, they are not hardened criminals and still have a conscience, but still, they should be prosecuted to give warnings and messages to those who will attempt to hack or steal people's money, networks should beef their security, and hire the best security IT to avoid similar hacking to happen again.
4548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolyNetwork Hacked, $600 million Lost on: August 13, 2021, 10:43:35 AM
Unfortunate, those hackers are really looking for potentital crypto platform thats so vulnerable for a glitch or a so called hacking. This is just an indication to tell us that technology played a vital part that gives us hope and of course worries like this.

Thye are good at hacking but bad as criminals, they cannot sustain and complete their works, the developers are only demanding and threatening but they panic and return their loot, but we should not become comfortable and relax with these hackers they are not going to stop and will map out an escape route, so they will get traced.
4549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 13, 2021, 03:31:01 AM
All of us voted it's not unethical, their respective country is rooted and betting on them so I don't see anything unethical on my point of view, the Paralympic was set up so handicapped people can excel in their field of endeavors in sports, I don't betting on my favorite I know they deserve my bet because they trained for their sports.
4550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 13, 2021, 01:26:25 AM
I would still consider Ugas to be in his prime despite being 35 years old. He did good against Shawn Porter but lost a controversial decision. He is still a paper champion though and that is why he is the underdog. If he wins this fight it would be one of the biggest upsets in recent history. I think the most likely outcome is a wide decision win by Pacquiao.

Both fighters are well prepared Ugas knows that this is a gigantic task for him and if he upsets Pacquiao it could be the biggest upsets in history much better than the Horn fight, but I don't think Ugas will resort to dirty tactics just like what Horn did to Pacquiao, Ugas has a clean record and he has no haters, it's going to be an interesting fight for all of us.
4551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 12, 2021, 01:30:40 AM

Nah I don't think that Pacquiao will take this fight personally regardless of whether he is stripped of the belt that Ugas now has or not. We all know how big mouth Roach is, he always do the trash talking while Pacquiao is simply Pacquiao doing the hard training and the mitts and doesn't comment any negative about the fighter that he is facing.

Yeah, probably just to hype the fight with Ugas because we all know that he is just a replacement fighter and all we want to see is Manny vs Errol in August 21.
Of course, they should hype this fight because some fans are thinking of a refund and they think that the fight is not going to be as exciting as the Spence fight, Ugas has a lot to gain for this fight if he beats and send Pacquiao to retirement, so Pacquiao should not take this fight easy, we all know what happened to the Horn fight where people are not expecting Horn to give him a rough fight, if possible he should knock Ugas out.
4552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for good projects on: August 11, 2021, 03:34:19 PM
There are a lot of new coins in the market of so many new coins in the market I recommend Bitgesell
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitgesell it's Store of value. Burn rate is 90% of tx fees
A model to have coin distribution and evolution focused on the store of value the reason why I recommend this is it has a good potential and the value is still very low.

4553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Makes Meme Coins, What Do You Think? on: August 11, 2021, 12:41:28 AM
Elon Musk started to be talked about in the last few months, after making speculations about dogecoin at the time on Twitter, someone suggested Elon Musk create his own coin, to develop something new and a huge opportunity for him, this is understandable when all that happened, considering what happened done is speculation about its influence in the crypto world.

What is the best step, to make this wish come true?
What are Elon Musk's chances in your opinion?
His coin has a good chance if Dogecoin catapulted to the top, where he is only an investor, he can do that to his coin, he has the money, he has the influence, he has the resources, he can even outdo himself as Shiller, but if he ever going to do that it must meet the community's expectations, a coin with real usage and for long term and not a pump and dump coin.
4554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Binance? on: August 08, 2021, 11:24:35 PM
I am not aware of these issues and I guess many of us here, there's too much at stake for Binance and for us as well, Binance is the number one exchange in the industry, and the majority of us here are trading there, besides the many products and platforms that they are using, I don't see a community now with Binance out of existence, I hope they can resolve these issues, we still need Binance, there's no good alternative for us.
4555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake Turned 4 on: August 08, 2021, 10:34:27 PM
How times flies and Stake is already four years old, they have given a lot to the communities and they will continue to shower the communities with tons of giveaways and bonuses, there are a lot more giveaways and surprises for the gambling community, they have maintained their reputation and their top position in the gambling industry and I'm sure they will exist for many years.
4556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum last forever? on: August 08, 2021, 09:52:03 PM
As long as we have a civilization, the internet and Cryptocurrency is accepted Ethereum will continue, it is a project that keeps evolving, and for an organization to continue, it should have a plan for continuity, and for a big organization like Ethereum, it should have a long term plan even if their main developers is not around anymore, I'm sure they are going to hire talented people in their fold.
4557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to judge whether newly listed coins are worth investing? on: August 08, 2021, 09:44:03 PM
Any investment is risky, so how should we distinguish between empty coin and MLM coin?
Aircoin is a white paper written casually by the project team, and the official website packs and collects money.
MLM tokens are mainly used to obtain reward tokens through pulling heads and offline multi-level development, or to obtain tokens by recharging members of different levels and purchasing virtual mining rights of different levels.

I would like to add the platform, the platform is very important it is what defines a project and its contribution to the industry, without a platform to speak of, the coin will just become a pump and dump coin, so if you are looking for a coin to invest be sure to check if there's a platform and what it's purpose in the community.
4558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: August 08, 2021, 01:21:08 PM

what are the decisions you're making now, will you wait for this new market development not to be a trap before investing again or you'll risked it and buy more coins?

Buying because that's the right thing to do when the market is down that's the time where you look for coins with good potential so when the market is up, the potential of the coin will show up, it could be a new coin or an old coin it doesn't matter the most important thing is it's potential and they have a platform that can serve the community.
4559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITGESELL - Store of value (Burn rate is 90% of tx fees) #realstoreofvalue on: August 08, 2021, 11:33:16 AM
Wow Bitgesell is on 100% pump in seven days I hope it will continue and so are the promotion, it will not take long before investors noticed the potential of Bitgesell, I'm hoping for Binance I know this will take some time but Bitgesell has the uniqueness to be in the top exchange, it's also great to know that Bitgesell is also advertising here in Bitcointalk besides the signature campaign.
4560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn passive income with ethereum 2.0 on: August 08, 2021, 11:28:37 AM
Although it's going to be a good passive income in the future, the APY shall change overtime due to the demand just like the other coins that have been into staking.
As start, the APY seems to be good but I guess as time passes by, it'll change and might decrease.

The current rate on Stakewise is not attractive compared to other farming and staking sites, but since we are talking about Ethereum, the second most popular coin in the market, it will still attract more investors to pool their Ethereum, I'm sure whales will take this opportunity to earn more , not really for us small-time investors.
