I dont care what Tesla and Elon Musk did or didnt do because in time it will matter less and less.
I have mixed feelings about the "crash"
It was an exceptional time to buy at a 50% discoint on the ATH, but I didnt have any spare funds so I couldnt take advantage of the sale.
I'm not going to slap myself because I have some spare funds now after paying the mortgage and utility bills so I'll make a purchase with Bitcoin under $40k

There wont be any long term effects of having more altcoins on the market. There are already over 8000 altcoins and many dont have any volume.
We could argue that its really only the top 100 that are actively creating any interest from Lambo hunters and traders.
There are over 50 pages of nonsense and almost all coins slip down the list and into that abyss.
There will always be new shiny coins to replace old tarnished coins which were once new and shiny. Funds will flow from Bitcoin into $hit projects and flood back into Bitcoin when it starts to rise.

Thats a good price on The Panthers, they are the only unbeaten team and we are almost half way through the season.
They arent the highest scoring team but look to have the best defense. Eels look a fine bet alsoas does Stormbut ask me two weeks ago I would have put Rabbitohs in instead . . .
I cant get the outrights for the NRL on Sportsbet for some reason?

Sorry @Jating Regarding the mens side of the tournament, it looks like Nadal, Djokovic and Federer are all on the same side of the draw! this means that everyone on the other side have been handed a carrot in a chance for a semi/final slot. Like a lot of people here, I am a Bitcoin maximalist, I cant listen to people who are negative towards Bitcoin. As regards EM, I dont follow him and wouldnt be aware of his tweets.
MS is a different matter for me, I actually like what he has done for the community, i.e raised awareness and opened peoples minds to what Bitcoin can do, something nobody has done successfully to date IMO.
What he talks about is primarily geared towards big investors but he has also mentioned that everyone can benefit.
Now I have cancelled my notifications from Twitter and visit the space about once per week.
Elon Musk is a volatile entity Michael Saylor is a super positive entity
There is a difference and I dont really care what both say I will still carry on Bitcoining.

IDK, the jury is out regarding EM.
Is he good or not so good for the Bitcoin space? short term probably not so good, too many U turns and contradictions, not knowing exactly what he thinks.
There are definitely people who act on his tweets, I would also like to hope that 1. The majority of people dont get burned and 2. The majority of people are able to look to the future

I have 3 picks for this round, Storm, Roosters and The Sea Eagles. Hopefully there wont be any upsets like last weekends disaster.
There are also some very close matches on which im not going to chance like The Rabbitohs v The Eels. The Rabbitohs are slight favourites with sportsbet but I fancy The Eels (not enough to put Sat's on though)
@Timelord2067 are you investigating sportsbet?

We are still in a bull market with dips, corrections and surges involved. In the image below there is a comparison made between 2013 and 2021. In 2013 there was a substantial correction similar to what we had over the last few weeks, but we are recovering. Roaul Pal has this on his Twitter feed from a few days ago https://twitter.com/RaoulGMI/status/1396526484152541189?s=19

I would have thought Nadal would have shorter odds, I tried checking the sportsbet outrights for Tsitsipas but its not showing any outrights ATM.
Anyone watch the UTS final between Taylor Fritz and Corentin Moutet? I just saw the last 20 minutes and it was really entertaining. I dont know much about the rules but it looks really fun and the players are really free to express themselves according to the winner, Moutet.
I have to say some of the shots by both players were really creative.
any thoughts?

I see. So it's kind of similar to binance's Futures trading... and also quite similar on crash game.
So if I set my target multiplier... I can able to cash my bet out even if it still not busted nor hitting my target multiplier... Am I right? I don't think the "payout multiplier" is the same as closing target (like as on crash game) If you're familiar with Futures Trading, "Payout Multiplier" is the same as Leverage. For example: if you place a $10 bet with multiples of 100x and choose "UP", your total wager will be $1000 (10*leverage). From every percent increase or decrease in price will accumulate base on $1000, if the price goes up 2% you'll get $20 profits (not including Fee). Therefore "the higher the multiplier you choose, the closer the Bust price". Fair enough if you have good understanding with the market and if also luck comes behind you, that leverage multiplier will gives something decent if you get the right market movements. With much higher multiplier the more you can generate huge profits, timing and also good skills analyzing the directions of the market, not easy though as there's always unexpectable events that changes the directions. But for sure there are gamblers who wanted those kind of game especially those who are involve with trading. For sure, 1000x is insane. If anyone is considering this amount if leverage they really need to be an experienced trader. At 1000x the liquidation price would surely be close to the buy in price so timing is indeed crucial with a bit of luck thrown in. Its a while since I tried Leverage trading, it didnt end well, I might try it again with maybe 3x!

Yea Medvedev has been nowhere for the clay season so far. Over the last 4 years I think he has bowed out in the first round of RG. I think hard court is his favourite surface.
Its a pity and something future champions need to be mindful of, to be successful on various different surfaces.

The Formula E organization is preparing a competition to offer tickets for the next season. "We're a sport designed to bring energy and excitement to city streets around the world, but for many months our grandstands have laid silent, empty of fans due to the pandemic." "That's why we're giving 20 people the chance to win tickets for them and 5 friends to attend the Berlin or London race in 2022." Anyone interested in participating in this challenge, just go to the official website, here: https://www.fiaformulae.com/en/campaigns/change-acceleratedGood luck. Excellent post @joker_josue, I have entered this and passed it on to my friends who are interested in motorsports. I think the idea here is to gather interest in the sport, its only 7 years old and is set to be the future. anyone else entered?

The beauty of Bitcoin and crypto is that anyone can buy and trade in it with pretty much any amount they want.
This move by HK is just protecting the institutions who are as mentioned above not getting it all their own way anymore.
There is a chance we may see more authorities move in similar ways as Bitcoin becomes more popular and becomes a threat.
its strange really, when we see the likes of the SEC in the U.S allowing investments to go ahead by institutions.

partly true OP.
It all depends on how we conduct our crypto dealings for example:
Buying a hardware wallet - Trezor and Nano require a postal address and how we pay for the goods has to be considered.
Buying and trading in Crypto - in almost all cases we either have to complete KYC or AML checks. We have to supply photo I.D.
The opportunities to conduct our business anonymously are becoming less and less but I agree that Crypto being unregulated can offer a degree of control outside a countries authority but unfortunately the vast majority of people have yet to realise this.

But the thing is that , China is serious or not? Read the post above yours by Kakmakr to understand. In short: China is developing their own digital currency. It's not going to be a decentralized asset like bitcoin is and it's not yet clear whether it will be blockchain-based or not. From some articles I read in the past, they are already trying out their digital coin in a few Chinese cities. Not sure if they consider those trials as successful or not. It's pretty obvious that they want their citizens to be disgusted by bitcoin as much as possible to increase the adoption rate of their government-controlled digital asset. The digital Yuan is happening and from this report below it seems like there will be an increased demand for crypto when it is fully implemented. A lot of people will be unhappy that another part of their privacy is eroded away. The Chinese authorities know this and are taking steps now, we will find out how serious those steps are soon enough. https://news.bitcoin.com/chinas-absolute-control-digital-yuan-boost-demand-cryptocurrencies/China’s push for the digital yuan will boost demand for cryptocurrencies, according to an analyst at BK Asset Management, citing that the Chinese government wants “absolute power” over the wealth and income of its citizens.

So in the Heineken Champions Cup, Toulouse win 22 to 17. Despite loosing a man early on to a red card and scoring a try in the last 8 minutes La Rochelle couldnt bring the match to extra time.
NRL .... erm a few upsets over the weekend IMO.
I really wasnt expecting The Sea Eagles to beat The Eels 28 - 6, not even close... And The Broncos to take the 36 - 16, so im 2 from 4 for round 11.

Norrie vs Tsitsipas now, first set tied, 2-2.
Tsitsipas beat Norrie in straight sets and won the title, I thought the match would last three sets but Tsitsipas was strong enough for Norrie, so He could finish the match in just two sets. I agree, Tsitsipas was too strong for Norrie, last time, Tsitsipas lost a set against Musetti, but it seems he learn his lessons and doesn't want this one slip away. Good for Norrie for reaching the finals though, all other rated players exited in the last 16 if I'm not mistaken and it's only Tsitsipas ranked second in this tournament who survives and eventually win the trophy. So him and Nadal will be the favorites in the French Open. Happy with that result, ah it was kind of one sided really, Tsitsipas was indeed too strong. Good for Norrie for reaching the finals though, all other rated players exited in the last 16 if I'm not mistaken and it's only Tsitsipas ranked second in this tournament who survives and eventually win the trophy. So him and Nadal will be the favorites in the French Open.
Agree for Nadal and Tsitsi but you ahve forgotten Djokovic. He can go far for sure and nobody can count on win against him. This should have been time to shine for Thiem, but he has had a lengthy pause and since his comeback he is just playing backhand slice instead of his very good top spin backhand. Not sure what has happened with him, I guess it must have been some injury and he is probably still unsure how much abuse his arm can take. As it stands now I am expecting early exit from him and will probably play handicaps on his opponents in first few matches. There are 3 potentials for the final, Nadal, Djokovic and Tsitsipas, but indeed its such a pity for Thiem, he was showing potential early after coming back from injury but he is still in recovery mode, still another week before RG, he may get further than many give him.

Panickers sell their little $10-$100 holdings because they've invested what little they have (and can't afford to lose) fully into BTC and they rather buy food or pay bills with it. They are losing sleep when their $100 investment temporarily turns into $85 and decide to cash out completely.
Whales with hundreds of millions worth of BTC have no better uses for fiat money, they already have enough stocks, bonds, apartments. They keep buying out more and more small BTC investors.
Soon the BTC space will be no different from the 'real world' where a tiny group of people (possibly less than a hundred people) owns 90% of everything.
I don't mock small investors and I understand their concerns (most of them are impatient people from socioeconomically disadvantaged countries hoping to double or triple their money fast, and it just isn't going to happen). But at the same time, they are fueling this development where a couple dozen people will soon own most of all bitcoins ever mined.
Yes, its the new people recently FOMO'ing into Bitcoin who cannot see past the now, cannot look to the future or stop and consider what long term investors do in times like this, i.e not panic. The future could play out like you predict, the large scale investors will accumulate.
