Manchester City are owned by the Abu Dhabi state
Liverpool are owned by Americans
Manchester United are owned by Americans
Arsenal are owned by Americans
Chelsea are owned by a Russian
Tottenham are owned by a Englishman

If their owners cared about their local communities and how it would negatively affect football in general and football fans around the cities they have stadiums in and fans around the world they would never even consider signing memorandums of understandings with each other.

UEFA was going to announce their plans for a 32 team Champions League system from next season but that has been overshadowed by the leaked news of the European Super League.

I saw the news some hours ago and didn't quite understand the need for the European Super League aside from the money it would bring to the respective clubs. I heard the initial/Founding teams of the league were promised about $350M (If I remember correctly) as rewards alone for joining  the league with promises about better competitiveness and sponsorship deals that could see these teams say goodbye to the current financial crisis caused by the pandemic. In my opinion, this breakaway league doesn't benefit fans just the clubs involve. Anyway, UEFA and FIFA are strongly against it. Even the Premier league too, is against it. Let's see how fan-owned clubs like Barcelona will join such a project if majority of their fan base doesn't like the idea.

I'm fine with the status quo, don't know about others. It looks like pitching the best teams against each other kinda like what Champions league does already.

SKY SPORTS BREAKING NEWS

BBC SPORTS BREAKING NEWS

A memorandum of understanding has been signed between 12 European football clubs. The European Super League is going to be announced in the next few days according to Sky Sports but news has been leaked to the media.

6 English teams involved are: Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea

3 Spanish teams involved are: Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona

3 Italian teams involved are: Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan

If the backlash in the media and from the public is too big then these 12 clubs will back down and not go ahead to form the European Super League.

I think this project will not go-ahead because the teams involved will be immediately banned from their respective domestic and European competitions by UEFA and none of their players will be allowed to represent their national sides again in any competition because UEFA and FIFA will ban them.

A point to note is that Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have made it clear they will not be joining any breakaway European Super League.

On this occasion I think the football fans will ensure that the European Super League does not go ahead but it might be a different matter in another 7 -10 years time when the possibility arises again.

What are your opinions about the European Super League. Should it go ahead or not? Take part in the poll....

RESULTS:

Arsenal 1-1 Fulham

Manchester United 3-1 Burnley

Fulham were on course to take all 3 points but settled for 1 point when Arsenal equalised 7 minutes in to time add on at the end of the 90 minutes.

Burnley fought hard and caused lots of problems before Manchester United ended up winning 3-1 and cement their 2nd place finish in the EPL table.  I got this score correct  Grin

Semi-Final #2:

Leicester City vs Southampton

The winner of the semi-final today will play in the final against Chelsea.

I think Southampton will pull a surprise victory here and make it to Wembley when most people would be expecting Leicester City to win the game comfortably. It is the FA Cup after all and it is known for having a few upsets every season  Wink

When you look at the Championship table right now and see the two of the three teams relegated last season Norwich and Watford in 1st and 2nd place so nearly automatically promoted back to the Premier League then see the other team Bournemouth in 5th place so can qualify back to the Premier League if they win the play-off final - then it should give Sheffield United hope of returning soon.

Officialy relegated.Awful just awful play this season by sheffield. They had a bad streak and couldnt recover from it now they are relegated.Hopefully they will get back to premier league soon.
They played well in some of the games they lost but the Premier League is a very tough league to try to stick around in.

Here are the Premier League games taking place on 18th April 2021:

Arsenal vs Fulham

Manchester United vs Burnley

Here are my opinions on how the games will play out  Grin

Arsenal 3-1 Fulham

West Ham is far ahead in possession, but Newcastle has played well enough. Ball possession West Ham 65% and Newcastle possession the ball on 35%. The match was enjoyable. And West Ham had bad luck so they couldn’t win the match.
I did not check the possession statistics for the game but I am surprised West Ham lost after making it 2-2. Full credit to Newcastle because they decided to attack as soon as West Ham equalised and pushed to get a third goal. Fabianski the West Ham goalkeeper gifted goals to Newcastle and he was responsible for all three Newcastle goals that were conceded.

What a win for newcastle with this win they seal their premier league spot for next season. 2 wins in row were enough to confirm this. Plus fulham lost to wolves made it a lot easier. What a win for them
It seems they have ensured their Premier League status for next season with this win. I think West Ham played excellent with 10 men for most of the game and were unfortunate because they should have won. Well done to Newcastle.

RESULT:

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 Sheffield United

Sheffield United have been officially relegated and will play next season in the championship because mathematically it is impossible for them to stay in the EPL now.

He probably does have at least one more acount in the campaign and maybe is still operating accounts on other signature campaigns. Maybe he is still buying/registering more accounts for the same purposes.

I know I managed to tag a few of his accounts long before he was exposed by nutildah and that led him to send PMs asking others to exclude me, it would not be surprising at all if he had more accounts. I have my own suspicions on some of members being connected.

Lots of coincidences doesn't make it hard evidence. It crossed my mind before that I wouldn't be surprised if figmentofmyass has even more accounts still in the campaign.

RESULT:

Newcastle United 3-2 West Ham United

Newcastle were winning 2-0 before West Ham made it 2-2 but then Newcastle scored the winning goal to take all 3 points and almost certainly will stay in the Premier League and avoid relegation. West ham needed the points to keep up a fight for a 3rd/4th place finish at the end of the season. Well done to Newcastle.

Everyone violated their T&C because they won on sports betting.

Nice freeroll site you are running.
If the player wins, odds go to 1.0 and if he loses in the long run you get to keep the money. If he wins you just void all the bets and give him his deposit back.

You did the same thing to me long time ago.
4572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2020/2021 on: April 17, 2021, 11:53:10 AM
@JollyGood it’s not that easy to sack him because Tottenham will have to pay big money to ask him to leave, and I also believe their chairman is waiting to see if they can qualify for Europa or no, before he wields the axe. Also I believe the player’s yet haven’t spoken against him, because had they done he would have been sacked long ago.
You are right there is a huge problem Levy would face by paying out millions of USD$ in compensation. Would the Spurs board really be happy if Tottenham ended up in the Europa League?

Mourinho is probably going to get sacked I reckon. Maybe the only thing that’ll save him is that his contract will be expensive to have to pay off. I think he should retire or go into international football management. He’s past his best as a club manager now.
What did Tottenham chairman Levy achieve when he unceremoniously dismissed Pochettino as manager? Even though he did not win a trophy with Spurs he would have brought more success than Mourinho did and Pochettino was building a team than nearly won the title, all he needed was some more funds to get two or three players more and make a big push to try to win the EPL but Levy was not helping.

I did not download the app, I just used their website. I will check out their app and see what happens.

Thank you for the screenshot. I never received any email, I tried to join the chat on numerous occasions but they never sent an email.

If you have a Binance account did you use the email address associated with your account or did you sign in as their customer then ask for live chat? maybe that made a difference.
I use the app directly, and I clicked on 'help and support', but that does not mean, you may only just provide your email without signing in to make use of the live chat. The live chat is a bot I think, ones it can no more handle your question, it will notify you it will direct what you are asking about to one of there agent. Then, not long, I got the message from my email to use a link to return to the consultation.

I never knew Musk used Reddit but if he keeps using his social media outlets to mention Dogecoin then things will keep going to the moon...  Grin

Musk really only mentioned Dogecoin and Bitcoin in his tweets from what I remember and knowing the way he does things I doubt it will be the last time he mentions them. I wonder what is driving this particular Dogecoin pump because I did not read any news articles that could have boosted it.

I didn't either. I don't follow Reddit, so I'm not sure what's going on there. However, I saw another tweet from Musk today:

Let me understand, if you don't have an account there and you don't use their platform, why would you want support?
To provide an update to a possible scam to them and while the process would have been going on make an assessment on their customer services.

I don't think binance is all that bad? But yeah, like bitmover asked, any particular purpose for contacting customer support when you aren't even their customer technically?

Personally, I would rather choose a live-chat over support-ticket system, but if they do take a long time to respond, maybe yeah they need to figure their shit out.

Also curious, did you contact them here: https://www.binance.com/en/chat ?

I mean if the live chat and emails dont work; join the community channels and perhaps you can get the info you're seeking from one of these channels: https://www.binance.com/en/community
I would prefer live chat too on the basis it works but having to see an automated message stating waiting time is greater than 60 minutes then keep the browser open for almost 5 hours and receive no message or email simply not good enough, they should have a better process in place.

Yes I did use this: https://www.binance.com/en/chat

I did exactly as you did. On few minutes time, check the response.

It was sent to me through email, how is this different from the support ticket? It is just like the same if you check it.
Thank you for the screenshot. I never received any email, I tried to join the chat on numerous occasions but they never sent an email.

Right in the Live chat there is an option to open a support ticket, but It doesn't come off directly. You have to first interact with the crap-ass bot.
I could not get past the bot to support ticket but support tickets do not exist any more, they only use live chat. Can you provide a screenshot?

A few weeks ago when I was discussing the possible scam via a support ticket then when I wanted to update them I replied to the support ticket but received an automated response stating all their support tickets for all users were closed and all being asked to use live chat instead.
4577  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should Crypto Domains Be Better Utilised: www.bitcoin.name on: April 16, 2021, 04:01:01 PM
The content and layout was definitely outdated and it was probably far more of an attempt to try to raise interest in Bitcoin with a hope to selling it (as you rightly pointed out) but the owner could have done a far better job content wise in order to make it more of an attractive project to potential buyers. It seems more of a let-down and a waste of a domain that could have had lots of positive things going on.

The website seems to be outdated and is rehashing articles from other sites (a common technique to boost SEO by rising on someone else's traffic). For example their Southampton partnership article is actually plagiarism of https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/southampton-fc-extend-partnership-deal-with-blockchain-leader-the-coingaming-group-301265612.html

As a webmaster I can tell you that other webmasters might put X-rated images at the top of their pages to attempt to get more people to scroll through the page and the links in hopes there are more X-rated images to see which ostensibly is supposed to increase site traffic a little, but this is a complete waste of time if you have no traffic in the first place, and disgusts the majority of users who would otherwise use the site, which I can tell without having to go to Alexa by the fact that it has no Google Search hits.

The website is also on sale since at least 2014 so steering away potential buyers like this makes little sense. Most sites and brands do not want to be associated with XXX content whether it's through the brands' own ads being served there or if the domains or the sites underlying them have ever looked XXXish.

How far will Dogecoin be pumped before it is dumped?

It all depends on how far or how long Elon Musk pumps it.

The crypto industry has exploded this year with investors betting on almost every coin out there. Whether it's Ethereum, Bitcoin, Binance Coin or even Ripple, investors have been flocking to them with most of them being inflated in value. But, I never expected for DOGE to perform this well, and I never considered it a long-term investment. The extent of Dogecoin's PR boost may also hinge on what comes next.

This thread has been created to share your experiences of Binance and what features you would like to see on their website.

I am extremely disappointed with Binance. They closed their support ticket system and instead divert people to live chat which always show >60 minutes estimated waiting time.

I do not have a Binance account and I do not want to download their app. They said they would send an email when my place in the queue was #1 in order to chat to them but on at least 3 occasions they never sent any email and that is unacceptable from a huge company like Binance.

I would like to see them re-open their support ticket system for non-members while keeping their live chat for existing registered members. Also, if members and non-members alike are being told wait for over 60 minutes to chat then they need to hire more staff.

For a USD$ multi-billion company more is expected. Very disappointed  Angry
