4563  Economy / Services / Re: Write tutorials about Bitcoin and get paid! on: June 07, 2014, 11:34:22 PM
No offence, but the pay is a bit too less.  I get paid 0.001 BTC per post, a post like this one Tongue
I am interested in writing tutorials for you, but I'll need a lot more BTC upfront to even start to consider.
4564  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: wtb btc ($120) through interac email transfer on: June 07, 2014, 11:31:43 PM
Quickbt is trustworthy. They sell small amounts of btc using interac online.

Good, quick and safe option for the small buyer. Rake is about 10% though.
thanks I'll consider using that next time

they have a .15btc limit though and I need slightly more than that for a transaction I'll be making

Transaction completed successfully with drakedog.  Thank you! Smiley
4565  Economy / Lending / Re: [ Fast | Reasonable | No-Collateral ] ★★★ [ Low Interest Loans ] on: June 07, 2014, 09:22:36 PM
That is a very good question to ask @sydboy.
I've wanted to do similar loans as well (some posts above I had a question) but it doesn't look as if I will take this risk.

What can anyone do with ~5-20 bucks in the bitcoin world. Trading? You serious?

Even if I don't have proof, it seems likely that they are really just gambling these tiny amounts away..

Thanks for making me aware of what I did not want to see in hopes of a serious bitcoin investment.

@OP In case you ever even read my original question: if you dont have stats just forget about them. I read a lot more in this subforum after posting it and this is not what I expected it to be.

Likely: Trust purposes, gambling, building up/reputation loans, scamming, scamming, and did I mention scamming?
Unlikely: Sometimes to cover up a miscalculated trade.  That's really all I could think of.
4566  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Amazon.de Gift Card on: June 07, 2014, 09:19:36 PM
Hi, I would like to buy an amazon.de gift card. Looking to buy €610 worth. Does anyone have any for sale? thanks

I'd doubt it... but if you are at your last resort, I'd suggest you look for amazon.com GCs and just buy what you want there.
4567  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $25 Google Play Credit on: June 07, 2014, 08:50:08 PM

4570  Economy / Securities / Re: Klyemax Studios IPO on: June 07, 2014, 05:26:05 PM
lol I read through the thread and degenerate thread. Basically you took their money anf gambled it ? or did I miss a page or two when I was reading ?

Yep, that's correct.  But you forgot to mention that this degenerate first WON 14 BTC, and spent that on real life gambling, drugs, and other necessities of his life Roll Eyes
4571  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] 2013 0.5 BTC Casascius coin FUNDED begins at 0.6BTC UK on: June 07, 2014, 05:23:58 PM
I'll do 0.6 BTC if you provide shipping fees. I can also help escrow for you if needed.
4572  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: June 07, 2014, 05:03:09 PM
I just realized others are paying almost double this? Seems disappointing to me.

I notice that you are spamming all across the forum?  Seems disappointing to me.
ONTOPIC, Stunna's campaign is still the most trusted IMO, and that should be valued much more than just numbers.
4573  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN, PROMO!] .10 btc 32-37gh 40-50 Wts Rockminer R-BOX. ASICMiner Gen 3 chip on: June 07, 2014, 04:59:24 PM
Hi, so I'm interested in getting 10 of these.

But I don't really mine, so I'll need a bit more help than others... Tongue  What do I need to purchase to get these set up the day I receive them?
Also, do you only ship to USA?  I live in Canada, where do you suggest I buy these miners from?
4574  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.35 Loan, will pay back 0.45 on: June 07, 2014, 04:41:28 PM
No I thought he wanted .035 so I sent that. I didn't notice he wanted .35 so I asked for him to send it back. It's 1:30 in texas so I guess he went to bed. I'll update in the morning
hmm atleast your error made to send him less btc Cheesy  lets see if it returns to you

Roll Eyes Hopefully he didn't get scammed. Why would he even lend that guy any money, anyway? He won't even come on the thread.

That's fairly simple. Looking through his post history its clear he is a contributing forum member and trying his hand at becoming a miner. He had tons of posts trying to help people. An ebay account for raptor2213 had a 98% rating w/ one bad feedback about a 3$ item and most of the volume was for mining equipment. I'm brand new to the bitcoin community but I am from the online poker community and one thing I've learned is that a man's reputation is all you have online and it's worth a damn more than 20$. If you weed out a rat for 20 bucks you got a big win lol. Anyway this is terrible all around since my mistake ended up derailing his loan request and obv I feel bad but I'd eat my own shirt if barring his account getting hacked he really did scam me.

He was trying to scam $220, but you sent him $22 and his greed overcame him, he grabbed it and ran.
jk, but it doesn't look good at all. ebay rating means nothing, and also, reputation is considered, but reputation on Bitcointalk.

I disagree with that/  Ebay rating DOES mean something IMO when it comes to trading here, or at least for me.  It gives you a bit more hope that it's legit.  But then again, I wouldn't take any "accounts' reputations" as collateral.

We don't know that he was scamming, but it does seem suspicious.
4575  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering [!INTEREST FREE!] Microloans (Collateral Required) on: June 07, 2014, 04:34:34 PM

lol Grin

Anyways, still open to loan requests guys!  Please do not PM me if you do not have a valid collateral to offer!

4576  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for your signature from FXOpen. Weekly payouts. on: June 07, 2014, 04:32:50 PM
Hi FXOpen, I'm just wondering, is it possible for me to buy a spot here from another member that perhaps doesn't want to participate in this anymore? Tongue  Just wondering Wink
4577  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | 600M+ Bets | 350k+ BTC Wagered | Free BTC | 1% Edge | Instant on: June 07, 2014, 04:31:22 PM
So you have lost 150 "10% bets" consecutively?
That seems very very unlikely (prob = 0.9^150 = 0.00001368914%)

So, if you make a million of rolls, you would come quite close to that. Though this doesn't in the least mean that it will happen to everyone making millions of rolls! Roll Eyes

BTW, there are only 650,390,470 bets at PrimeDice so far... Cool
I think most of us have come to discover that when it comes to provably fair dice games, the theoretical probability means nothing Roll Eyes
The experimental probably is very off. Tongue
4578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does there any online service that sells paypal for bitcoins? on: June 07, 2014, 04:00:36 PM

4579  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Trial] Lotto Fair-Play and Random on: June 07, 2014, 03:09:50 PM
What software is this?  When you say it is broadcasted when the lotto is complete- does that mean during the drawing, or afterwards?
I'm sorry didn't mean to make it unclear.

I will be using JOIN.ME to broadcast the drawing

(if we get more than 10 users to buy in to the lotto, I will be using TWITCH.TV) ^_^

And using this for drawing

The question of the day:  How do we know that you won't run away with the funds?  Anyone can start a simple lottery and not pay out. :O
4580  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 999dice .5 give away!!!! on: June 07, 2014, 03:03:55 PM
Wait, so your giving 5mBTC to the first 100 people who sign up under your link, right?
Will you only payout when 100 people signed up?  If so, probably won't happen.  I suggest you pay everyone right when they post their usernames Wink
