I think there are some billionaires that keeps their money on their desktop Tongue Smiley Smiley

Bitcoin-core.

With the recent reduction in the exchange rates, I don't think there are any Bitcoin billionaires around here now. At $450 / BTC, to become a billionaire one should possess at least BTC2,222,222. And right now, the biggest holder is having some BTC980,000.

perhaps you are right indeed. My bad...

But I must say there is a reason why I can be right Smiley

You say - biggest hodler have 980,000 BTC  - 1 wallet Smiley
Why you think he is holding all coins at same address?
He can have 10000 of them with 100BTC on each one  Smiley Then he is a billionaire Smiley and he keeps money @ bitcoin wallet Tongue

But indeed this is likely not really possible an, but not impossible Smiley

Damn. I just woke up and instead of seeing a rally I see a drop ...
That's seems not to be a rally time yet I suppose...
4563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 24, 2014, 11:29:12 PM
Ok I am going to sleep. I want to wake up and see rally in progress Smiley

Good night to all of the members and I wish you great time while I will be sleeping.

4566  Economy / Goods / Re: Hotwheels on: April 24, 2014, 11:07:24 PM
I'm prepared to head over and sell on eBay, but I figured I stop by here first to see if there were any hotwheels lovers interested in paying with btc. I have hundreds of packaged cars from between 1995-2003. if there's any interest I'll supply more info.

Please supply more info I would love to see what you've got there.  :-)

Name your prices too :-)
4567  Economy / Speculation / Re: Automated posting on: April 24, 2014, 11:03:41 PM

4569  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoins for Nike Shoes! on: April 24, 2014, 10:48:35 PM
I'd like to buy one but international shipping is big problem. I have to pay half of the shoes price for just shipping.
Shipping prices are just what they are :-) but I agree that in some cases it is a half of a price of shoes :-) anyway  he's got some very cool models that you will not find hard to buy in your area.
4570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin shirt? on: April 24, 2014, 10:39:02 PM
I don't know... Design is not that bad but there is something 'meh' about these shirts. I probably would not wear it. And I love other geeky shirts...

I think it is great!

Smiley Maybe I would change a color as I do not wear such bright colors but design is really good in my opinion.

Cheers!
4571  Other / Meta / Re: REST IN PEACE PARAIPAN on: April 24, 2014, 10:36:01 PM
He was last active just two days ago? What happened?

Same question from me ...

He looks pretty young and was alive 23.04...

If this is true that he is dead I am really sorry to hear that.

Rest in peace.

4573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin shirt? on: April 24, 2014, 10:30:30 PM
Wearing a bit coin T-shirt is stupid for one clear reason

4575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why all the alt coins? on: April 24, 2014, 10:26:08 PM
Roslinpl, thank you for your reply, you really hit the right nail with your answer and has actually helped me to better define what I was looking/hoping to find. I think it is safe to say that 99% of us all are really in it for the investment side of things Smiley

You are not right my friend.

Maybe 50% - not 99%.

For example I am not thinking about Bitcoin as it is an investment.
For me Bitcoin is form of money. Digital currency. That I can earn over Interweb from doing different tasks and I can receive payment for my work in a minutes even if it is 23:49PM Sunday night. Smiley With a little fee and so much fun!

Bitcoin is a currency. Bitcoin is not an investment Smiley But we can say it is as for some reasons people think it is Smiley And it looks like it is while people are hodling Smiley

I understand your way of thinking, just remember what really is bitcoin.

To buy some Bitcoins and hodl them for few years - we might call it an investment and it will make a profit for you for (almost) sure Smiley
4576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to fix the price? on: April 24, 2014, 10:19:52 PM
If anyone is a member of another forum, you should make a thread called "Bitcoin is not dead"
Bitcoin was never dead and will be not.

I love the way that you support Bitcoin! Looking forward to see more of those kind of actions! Smiley

Good luck! Regards.
4577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin shirt? on: April 24, 2014, 10:08:17 PM
Do you guys wear bitcoin shirts? Thought this was pretty clever...

http://www.lovelibertee.com/products/bitman-your-neighborhood-hero-t-shirt

I love that one!

Great design!!! Smiley I must ask my friend who is clothing designer to make some BTC shirt for me! Smiley

Till now I haven't got any yet ... Yet! Smiley I will change it soon.
4578  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Blockr.io bitcoin block explorer on: April 24, 2014, 10:04:50 PM

4579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why all the alt coins? on: April 24, 2014, 09:55:43 PM
I only just started noticing and learning about BitCoin... now all of the sudden there are many other types of online currency out there, which ones are actually worth paying attention to and which ones are just a plain joke created to make fun of BitCoin?

What is your purpose of entering into world of cryptocurrencies - you must ask yourself that question.
If you want to use a coin to pay - Bitcoin and Litecoin are most popular.

But people are accepting few others coins in their shops too.

For example look how many coins is accepting this service:
http://hausfay.com  Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Coin2.0 and some others.

If your purpose is to became a trader - then you must remember, that altcoins are crazy. Market is crazy. You can gain huge profits and you can choose wrong coin to invest and your coin will be worth nothing.

I must say new Coin2.0 is making huge progresses and developers are really hard working people.
You can have a look at their thread

You should read about Dogecoin Smiley you should read about Litecoin too ...

But remember. Bitcoin is mother and father and grandfather of all altcoins.

Bitcoin is ♥. Not only a coin. Bitcoin is changing the world to better. Bitcoin will survive because we ♥ BTC.

Maybe one day some other altcoin will be as ♥ as BTC. Time will show.

Enjoy Bitcointalk !! There are tons and more informations about crypto currencies.

Regards.
4580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To whoever says bitcoin is only for criminals on: April 24, 2014, 09:46:22 PM
Im getting real sick of people saying "bitcoin is for criminals"

Is BitGive a criminal organization? No!!! BitCoin is the only way this charity can use everything it has raised to help people. If they were to use fiat money there would've been so many middle man fees (from banks and government) that would eat up a huge chunk of the money raised.

“A lot of the funding donated in fiat currencies is significantly diminished through government processes and oversight,         transaction fees, and corruption.

The reduction in fees and corruption via direct transactions means more funding is actually going to the intended cause.”

          Connie Gallippi, The BitGive Foundation

So because of bitcoin, charitys can recieve all the money raised. With fiat money, middlemen will recieve a large chunk instead. Which one of these seems more criminal-like to you?

Come on just do not feed those trolls.

Bitcoin is for human kind. We are the criminals, we are the police, we are the people we are everything we are.

We can say that $$ is for criminals! Look how many dealers are using cash to pay for their drugs..

But it isn't like that and we all understand it.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Regards.
