Slock.it is highly risky and the returns are minimal. For example, to install a smart lock on 1 room, the hardware costs alone will be over $200. Assuming a 1% fee, it would take a year of full occupancy to simply pay off the hardware. Not to mention the issue with adoption, as paying with credit card or cash is much more convenient.

DAO is a good bet in the future if you have a few spare ETH to invest. I believe I the tech of ETH and DAO so much I've invested a few BTC valuations. And I'd encourage all others to do so too. Honestly, I was quite scared for Bitcoin when ETH was doing well. Now I just see it as a way of helping people see how Bitcoin is better and making the price go up.
I was afraid too, because when ETH was going very well the bitcoin price crashed and i was afraid that the bitcoin traders are going to move to ethereum and leave bitcoin. But seems that it was not how i thought, but still ETH is having a good success especially this week when the price increased for about 10% All my friends were telling me to switch to ethereum. So I bought a couple of them on yobit and had to sell them for a lower price than what I bought for. Once bitten twice shy as the saying goes. Why were you forced to buy then sell them, most of all for a loss? Sounds like you're tarded. |

Today's price is 0.024. Is that still in the long trend line? If not, I will sell some Ethereum to buy bitcoin. We're significantly above that line, which is down at ~0.016. Right now I'm going long, as breaking 0.0234 indicates further upside. Be warned though, as I said before, I believe this is a bulltrap. edit: So Gatecoin was hacked.
