Thanks, watching at the moment. Nothing new so far but very interesting and clear arguments

Maybe MTGox do their own arbitrage, as they are probably the only people able to withdraw quickly from their own exchange? Buy coins from other exchanges and sell them on MtGox. Rinse and repeat.
perhaps is Gox is not doing this leads me to the only conclusion possible - that they really don't actually have the USD they claim, that perhaps back when they were the only exchange they inflated the number of bitcoins shown on the site, and now they can't pay those coins back... just my .000002btc If Mtgox was doing the arbitrage the price on Mtgox would go down on Mtgox Aren't some withdrawals fast? I read that withdraws to Japanese banks used to be proceed fast so they should arbitrate crazily

I've seen a lot of discussion about this exchange and cloud mining service, and wanted to share my analysis, plus hear about the experiences of others. By my calculations, if you want to purchase GHS for the purpose of mining, you can't do anything but lose money at a price of more than ~ .012/BTC , and by May 2015 your revenue essentially drops to zero. This calculation is based on the current exchange rate of BTC/USD, and an average difficulty rise of 25% - probably a bit generous. At the current exchange rate of .038/BTC, you lose 65% of your investment by the time your GHS becomes worthless due to difficulty going up - and again, I think an average of 25% is low, given the new chips that are coming on the market. My strategy is to put in orders for what I think is a fair price for GHS, and in the meantime simply park my BTC there. Has anyone had success using this site for actual trading? Logically the worth of GHS can only go down over time, unless we see a large spike in the BTC/USD exchange rate. Curious to hear others' thoughts on this. Are those who are using the site banking on a spike in the value of BTC vs fiat currencies, or are you using it for trading? I've had excellent returns in the past purchasing long-term contracts for hashing power, but I made sure beforehand that they would be profitable over the course of the contract.
Full disclosure - if you're interested in trying it out, I figured I might as well post my referral link here; stupid not to really. http://cex.io/informer/0112358/8844a9c05f54d1be4a5a21f044c904a9/When the price will reach your buying limits, it will probably be very expensive to buy GHs for that price Cex.io asks to deposit BTC and sell GHs in BTC so the price of the BTC in fiat doesn't matter that much since the return is in BTC, it matters only psychologically and because of the maintenance costs that are in fiat

I doubt 100 quid sunk into a 5Ghash BiFury is going to make much Speacially not when the TH miners come online in droves and the diff goes stratospheric (as opposed to the moment where it is simply uncomfortably, bowel-wateringly high). Yeah, I think I'll sit for a while. Might just plug 100 bucks into something like Cryptsy and play with the altcoins for a bit. Thanks all Rit. Last time I checked Bitfury is at 125$ the unit, 10 for 1000$; I guess you can make money buying 10 of them, mine for a month then sell it back on Ebay for 100$ a piece or even a bit more; I just sold my antminer 1.6Ghs at 122$ and I told the buyer exactly how much he could expect per day

The default fee for that transaction would either be 0 or 0.1 mBTC ($0.08) so this was selected by the user. However I do think it would be a good idea if the client warned users before doing something that 99.9999999999% of the time is simply a mistake. Paying a fee 100x what is required is almost always going to be a mistake and for the one in a million that it isn't the user could always override the warning. "WARNING: You have selected are about to send a transaction with a fee of 90 mBTC per kB. This is 900x the minimum required, and more than 450x the average fee paid by Bitcoin users in the last 24 hours. Are you sure you wish to pay a fee of 90 mBTC?
[Yes - Send with 90mBTC fee] [No - Cancel Transaction] [No - Reduce fee to 0.1 mBTC]
Yes that would be a nice idea. It is not all about the technology, it is also about having a user friendly system and adoption

This website has to be seen as a gambling game, a fun one, there is some strategy&calculations involved but also a lot of luck involved;
13.9 out of 15 on the present bank means we will soon pass next bank, 50% bonus, an owner that will change the rules to keep the game going if it slows down and maybe some advertising soon : it seems like an excellent time to enter the pyramid (this is not an advice, barely an opinion)
If someone deposit 1BTC today : (approximatively)
you will get right away 1.5BTC with the bonus 0.2BTC of income next bank 0.1BTC bonus on the income so 1.8 after one bank 0.24BTC next bank 0.12BTC bonus on the 2nd income
=>2.16BTC after two banks!! That seems pretty good

I purchased the 25mh/s viper from Alpha Technology on the 10th of Jan. Order #95xx I'd like to be one of the first ASIC scrypt hashers out there, but here are the risks: - Alpha has no track record. - They could deliver late (BFL all over again). - They could potentially be a scam. Positive points: - I am protected for at least 60 days, since I used paypal. Protection expires on March 10th. - Alpha technology have been active, regularly posting updates. Check: https://alpha-t.net/news/- Just today, they've posted photos of their offices, and their community manager, Fiaz is active on Litecointalk: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=24384If Alpha comes through on time, the upside is huge. But I don't want to risk this alone. So I'm selling 25 shares, and I'm keeping 25. I paid 30% to reserve the viper, so as of now, only 15 shares are available. When Alpha request the remaining 70%, 10 more shares will be available. - 500kh/s for 12 months - Cost: $250 per share (equivalent in BTC or LTC) - Payout on the 1st and 15th of every month. $5 payout charge per share. PM if you want to ask questions about the mining setup, the order, or to get to know me. Thanks. Current Availability: 15/15You will pay 5450£ for 25mhs, at today's rate it means 180$/500khs and you ask for 250$ so 39% more; only to get 12months of mining and no ownership of the miner. Are you charging 5$ per payout? Meaning you charge 5$ every two weeks?? That seems like a lot. Can you confirm you don't charge any maintenance cost? Yes, you are about right. But please consider the time put into this. Paypal to secure the order. The time to get all the shares sold. Electricity and maintenance costs. And two payouts a month. It's a cost. If you guys prefer one payout per month, we can do that too. I guess we'll vote on that once the shares are sold. Ok, I think I will pass with these exact conditions but it's not saying it is a very bad deal, I find that the 5$ per payout fee&no ownership of the miner are a bit of a turn off, you are actually selling a mining contract

So a friend gave me .25btc on a paper wallet for my birthday and instructed me to check out these forums. What seems like the strongest candidate to invest these into?
I would advise you keep your bitcoins secured and get a bit involved in the bitcoin community, if you are buying something online and you see that it is easier to pay in bitcoins, use those coins and buy them back Your coins can be exchanged anywhere in the world and you can buy with them on numerous websites without having to worry about credit card theft so enjoy these possibilities. To get new coins : rent your [Suspicious link removed]ignature, sell stuff in bitcoins, buy them on localbitcoins or get verified on an exchange, ect.

I have been verified on Mtgox, I wonder if I should deposit any money on the website

I am still holding, I may sell 5% of my holdings at 10,000$ to buy some gold, silver and some shares of oil companies, I won't advise anyone to put any money in bitcoins that he is not ready to lose but I would strongly advise everyone not to bet on the dollar against any real asset
People that advise not to buy bitcoins are often the same that have 100% of their money tied in the us, ''diversify a bit maybe?''

Still early days it seems on http://bitvestor.us/?ref=yOVN2Np0n2bMyaI .. deposited 0.03 for the hell of it. Wouldn't be surprised if Poof!!! it's gone in a few days .. but this is nothing but gambling. So sign up and use the referral link above ((((((((((((((om))))))))))))))))) ((((((((((((((((((((bit coin)))))))))))))))))))) The site is down And probably taken everybodies money . Site is up and working fine, closing in on the next level too. Added bonus, looks like they are still actively developing the site, so I don't see it going away anytime soon. They introduced a "selling" feature sometime early this morning. You can now sell back your level at 50%; the other 50% gets paid as a bonus to the next depositors (deposit .5, get .25 free). I sold off a small portion of my level to test and it worked perfectly; I'm now above even and making profit off each level. Good luck to everyone else who joined early, should be a good couple of days. Do you know if they use 100% of the selling revenu to give bonuses to new depositors? You know how much you sold and you can see how much was use to give bonuses on the log page, I guess it is 100% They will be able to give 100% bonuses or even 200% when the deposits slow down again which would most certainly increase the deposits; and so on : 500% 1000% bonus if needed to keep it going, there are 3 old players, including one who deposited January 6 (bank1!) that deposited again today If you deposit now and get through 2banks you can sell at 50% and roughly break-even, I think I talked myself into depositing more, let's play! I think it would be better for the new depositor to know that he will get a 50% bonus instead of beeing kept in the dark of wether there is still bonus money to be distributed

I thought exactly that : if the creator of makebtc is smart he thought about a new feature to implement when the deposits will slow down : beeing able to sell your level & advertise will certainly bring deposits
We have no visibility of what you do with the money from selling the levels : is it entirely used to give bonuses to new depositors?
I am surprised fox9999 hasn't deposited again

Hey, I am in Stockholm for a while and I would like to sell my antminer, it delivers a power of 1.6G and 2.2G when overclocked, it is not overclocked right now and it works perfectly, I tested it. You can PM me if you are interested.

Not sure, but my guess would be maybe a problem with the pool. I dunno, I notice this pattern where it seems on the weekends we usually have longer rounds and technical issues start happening at the same time. Perhaps the pool is having some glitches backstage right now? Thanks for your answer. I can't seem to make cgminer works right now! Very annoying

Has anyone made a profit or broke even yet? If not, when will you?
Ki$$, who was the first investor, put in 0.3BTC. He is now taking out 1BTC on each bank, has done for a while now, so he is well into profit. How do you know Ki$$ isn't a sockpuppet account of the operator? This is how they usually work. I think now is too late to invest or you have to go big like 3-5Btc to make profit . I found this page on first day they started but haven't invested because I was affraid this is a scam . Now is really hard to look on profits made by first days depositors even the smallest one. You're wise to stay away from all pyramids really. To be fair, everyone on the first level should have equal standing when it comes to future profits. Isn't it the case?? All players from first level receive the same profits in proportion to what they bet

Fait une transaction en personne ! T'en a pour une heure dans une grande ville. Tu as peur de quoi ? Les Bitcoiners ne sont pas très impressionnant.
Oui en utilisant le système de vérification par code de localbitcoins, un acheteur qui est très bien et en commençant par une transaction faible, le risque est quasi-nul
