Hi!
No matter how I OC my zotac 1060 6gb gpu I cannot get it to get above 1199mhz. I’ve used quick miner and the graphical miner. I use MSI afterburner. I’ve also used NiceHash miner OC Tune. I’ve also mined with lolminer and ethminer.
I’m hashing at about 16.50 mh/s on avg. I cannot get it above 16.75mh/s. I know it can get to 22-25mhz from YouTube videos and a friend with the same card. I’ve put in ALL the OC settings and GPU-Z will not show the memory clock going above 1199mhz.
I’m beginning to think it’s a bios or motherboard issue. I’m on a ASROCK b365m pro4.
Has anyone run in to the issue or know where I can go for help?
Thanks!
Set such settings in MSI afterburner. Power limit 116 (MAX) Core frequency +50 Memory frequency +600 - 900 For testing, start at +600 You should get the following result. Memory frequency +600 23 MH Memory frequency +900 24-25 MH over +900 is unnecessary overclocking

Mining is no longer a hobby, it is a good business If you want to compete with other miners, then you must have either cheap (free) electricity or the ability to purchase equipment at a bargain price. You can buy an old ASIC and try to make $ 30-50 a month until it breaks. But if you don't have a business plan, then you will be disappointed.

Congratulations, i just read your thread today and found out u already finished it up. I have question, Is the mining activity disturb ur hosting function?
Mining is not a disturb hosting function. You need to install more than 4 GB of RAM and use a 4-core processor. A good internet connection and SSD hard drive will complement your farm, and you can use it as a file storage, hosting service, mail server and similar tasks.

My farm of 5 RX 474 video cards today gives $ 8 profit per day. I do not count the cost of electricity. The farm mines Ravencoin. I consider this to be a good income today, considering that the cost of one video card is $ 130. Buying used video cards may not be the best investment, but if you already bought video cards, it is too early to sell them.

A very interesting assembly of a mining farm. Why put such a gasket under the motherboard? This gasket burns very well. Why use a motherboard like this with a lot of memory and 2 processors? If I had made farms like that, then noverno would be ruined.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0Study this topic and try to start mining from the beginning of the blockchain. How to analyze this, I cannot tell you. But I would go for Ethereum or similar popular coins that generate good income.

For long-term storage, it's best to use full node wallets. For bitcoin, this is Bitcoin core, for ripple, find an official wallet too. With this approach, your coins will be 100% safe. Only it is probably worth using a separate computer for these purposes.

Your video cards are useless in mining even with free electricity. If you want to mine, then sell them and buy at least 2 used rx470 video cards (4GB). When installed into a motherboard without using raisers, the hashrate can be from 18 to 25 megahash from each card.
With free electricity it's worth mining with hd69** series because these cards can do 3.47H on BTG (Zhash) and that's equals to 2.68$ per day presently, it's because these cards are old that's why most mining calculators don't show them up presently Have you compared AMD Radeon RX 470 vs Radeon HD6970 2048MB Graphics Cards? AMD Radeon RX 470 has higher video chip frequency, higher number of universal processors, higher maximum memory bandwidth, and it is much faster and more modern. What then is the hashrate of the Radeon RX 470?

This is a common disease in these motherboards. Replace the bios 2032 battery with a new one and configure the boot into BIOS boot: boot option # 1 USB device If the boot tab setting is inactive, you need to update the BIOS of the motherboard.

If you like mining and want to learn something, then you can buy several video cards. But better collect a new farm for 5-6. Install 2 video cards first, then buy 3-4 more. You won't be able to quickly recoup your investment now, but it can become your additional income if you have cheap electricity.

Hi! I have an ATI RX 580 with Hynix GDDR5 memory. Im using it with Raveos to mine ETH and is losing about 25% of its shares. It worked fine for the first few days. I use a moded Bios and this setting: Core Clock 1050 Memory Clock 1950 Core Volt 950 Memory Volt 950 Fan 50% The current hashrate is 29 mhs and the temp is 57°. This is the exact model i have: https://www.sapphiretech.com/en/consumer/pulse-rx-580-8g-g5Any ideas? I read about invalid shares and tried to lower the clocks (kind of randomly) with no success. Im kind of new so im learning about this stuff. What miner are you using? try changing to another miner. If the problem is not in the software or in the speed of the Internet connection, then you need to look for the problem in the hardware. Your settings are correct, I see no reason to change something here
