Hi!

No matter how I OC my zotac 1060 6gb gpu I cannot get it to get above 1199mhz. I’ve used quick miner and the graphical miner. I use MSI afterburner. I’ve also used NiceHash miner OC Tune. I’ve also mined with lolminer and ethminer.

I’m hashing at about 16.50 mh/s on avg. I cannot get it above 16.75mh/s. I know it can get to 22-25mhz from YouTube videos and a friend with the same card. I’ve put in ALL the OC settings and GPU-Z will not show the memory clock going above 1199mhz.

I’m beginning to think it’s a bios or motherboard issue. I’m on a ASROCK b365m pro4.

Has anyone run in to the issue or know where I can go for help?

Thanks!

There must be a perfect settings for your gpu but that can only be possible if I know the exact memory type you have on the GPU, check GPU-Z once again and look the memory type, might be Samsung, Micron or hynix

show your settings in afterburner and show us your gpu-z.
Your are using better mem timings? (--mt 1 - 6 with t-rex miner)

Ethminer is to slow and lolminer is not the best for nvidia. Use t-rex miner or nbminer with memtweak command and you will see you hashrate go up.

Set such settings in MSI afterburner.
Power limit 116 (MAX)
Core frequency +50
Memory frequency +600 - 900
For testing, start at +600
You should get the following result.
Memory frequency +600  23 MH
Memory frequency +900  24-25 MH
over +900 is unnecessary overclocking
