4561  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What address displays when you send a coin? on: June 08, 2011, 12:53:20 PM
you can't control what addresses you send from. All of the coins you sent is from addresses that you received coins with.
4562  Economy / Economics / Re: hoarding is not so easy on: June 08, 2011, 12:39:07 PM
I get the opposite feeling, that selling is not so easy, making hoarding somewhat unavoidable in a way.

I don't mean 100 or even 1000 coins, I mean if you could buy a big house or a plane with your 370,000 BTC, I can't imagine that being a simple thing to move.

4564  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: PSU questions. on: June 08, 2011, 12:28:57 PM
I don't think that 520W PSU can handle 2x 5850, since it takes ~350W per card.

Crossfiring them adds +~180W. Dunno about running them both single. Same applies to the 450W and 620W PSU..

4569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 1 day, non-payment MTgox LR, MTgox is scam ???? on: June 08, 2011, 02:03:42 AM
You all get it not right,

Mt.Gox is big scammer, he takes money from pay in and pay to payout, seems like madof. If more money in and less money out, it works!
If he have a reserve, even worked for some history if more money out and less in. But only short history. Anyway madof. Do not know why people do business here!

4572  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which power supply for 2x RADEON HD5770? on: June 08, 2011, 12:09:16 AM
Assuming your 500W power supply is indeed supplying 500W, then you don't need to upgrade anything. You've got more than enough power right there.
in other words, get a 600W-700W power supply.
4573  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Who said 58xx were sold out? on: June 08, 2011, 12:07:35 AM

4578  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solo mining question on: June 07, 2011, 11:02:36 PM
don't bother solo mining, at this difficulty level, you're probably not going to see a block in over a year.
4579  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Profit of changing pool on: June 07, 2011, 11:00:54 PM
how consistent are the payout at the smaller pools though... or does it average out

bitcoins.lc -> 72.56 Ghash/s from 289 workers
slush -> 1010.868 Ghash/s
less hashing power = less shares
less shares = more of the 50 btc

also, you idea of bitcoin being a cash cow is false. If you want to make money, speculate on bitcoin, don't mine it.
