4561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term bitcoin trading viewing on: December 06, 2019, 05:17:25 AM
I think that in the year of 2020 everything is unpredictable. we don't know what moves will some countries take against bitcoin and everything is unclear. although the chart might tell something about the price rallying up but the political decision and news regarding cryptocurrency is what make the market decide whether to go up or down also to add in the next year some big boys that are doing blockchain research might have finished and announce whether it's effective or not.
yes, no one knows for sure the price of bitcoin next year. Just like this year, in 2018 many people predict that market prices will experience a sharp increase, because the phase of falling market prices when 2018 continues until the end of the year so there is a lot of hope that in 2019 market prices will rise sharply, but in fact the movement Market prices tend to be more stable and there has been no sharp increase or decrease this year. Likewise in 2020 no one knows exactly what steps will be taken in some countries for bitcoin, will there be support from most governments so that it can affect market price increases or even vice versa.

Many fall for hoping that we can get a great future coming at that time since speculation for a continuous increase is so high at that time but when manipulation came and certain ETF failing issue come it drops the price together with  the trust for the new people in crypto that's why we struggle  to grow up right now even though we are heading at the next block halving. And hopefully next year will bring a good boost to  the price since if we can see a excellent changes for sure we will have another great major adoption coming on 2021.
4562  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: December 06, 2019, 04:36:56 AM
In fact, the tax on cryptocurrencies is formed because the government wants people not to participate in transactions there. It's quite risky and dangerous, because there will be money laundering factors and lots of scam components. High forms of taxation indicate that the government is paying more attention to the people. In many Southeast Asian countries, the majority of governments do not allow the use of cryptos to trade and to minimize the fact that people give up their main jobs to depend on "virtual" assets. After all, they do not prevent us from making money so well, we are free to make money and pay taxes like ordinary people.
I believe the goverment has still good heart for the people but i don't understand why they put taxes in crypto when in fact they cannot legalize bitcoin as a currency.

Maybe it's just a sort of humor for those people who want to carry out the legalities of bitcoins and altcoins but unfortunately I don't really think that this time will be happen since for sure the certain market condition nor  the volatility will create a confusion to the authorities to trust the relevance of it. But also it cross on my mind  maybe they can't really legalize it due to the fact that they can't trace out the users because of its anonymity.

What Going on! ?
Its a 5 th day and I have not made any profit!!
Im crypto trader cristmas is coming and I have no money to pay my bills!!
And I Don't Know any skills besides crypto trading and cashing out.

Who keeping btc price down??

So you are just relying on tradings? then  unfortunately you will end up broke for sticking to that option since actually there's no always happy season in tradings and since you are into it maybe you are in lose since the altcoins especially BTC is on dump right now. Maybe if you want to get a better life with crypto try to find an alternative platforms that can produce you an income and learn some skills or better find a reliable offline job that can generate you money to pay your bills on.
4564  Economy / Services / Re: I can assist in cryptotalk.org bounty on: December 04, 2019, 01:15:36 PM
This is just one example of how you can lose your account when someone else writes you posts : Account banned for plagiarism

Cant agree more.

It's about developing trust. Once both parties develop trust that OP is not giving plagiarized posts and receiver is paying in return. Things can move smoothly.

People who have time do it themselves  but there are ppl who due to busy schedule time cant spare time. My service will benefit them.

That's already too late for this service you specifically mention that this is for Cryptotalk bounty, a bounty that is now paused you should have changed the title to something that will cater to all bounty campaign and not only for Cryptotalk, anyway good luck you should have started it two months ago.

You are right.

Its paused now but Hope's are it will resume very soon .

This offer is open for other bounty also.

I think it's not paused since participants can still credited for their post and the only thing participants wait is the hot wallet to get filled so that we can withdraw our campaigns earnings. Most provably it will be refilled on next following days since the manager itself had been paid already for another month of managing the campaign.

But anyways OP it's better to be careful since this kind of service you offered is kinda not approve by some DT's here and it's kinda sketchy so better I suggest that you should find another alternative ways to earn rather than giving a shit on pilot services.

4566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy 1 bitcoin on: December 04, 2019, 03:44:40 AM
So I own $1000 in bitcoin but I want to invest the remaining amount to accumulate a whole bitcoin.  The prices fluctuates every second so how can I do this on coinbase?  I believe this is called a market buy order and I've looked at the steps on how to do this but I think they're outdated or wrong.

Since you are new and want to know more about this things best to move this topic to beginners help sections and possibly you will get the correct output for your questions since there are more veterans users who help newbie users for there questions https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0

And since you want to buy bitcoins then make sure that you are ready to buy at this rate since as you said the price is flactuating and might you will lose aswell get panic if certain falls happen but if you are a risk taker and willing to hold then look at the current price and initiate/execute your buy order and it will be filled.
4567  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Some problematic things about Coinbase on: December 04, 2019, 02:26:37 AM
Coinbase holds almost 98% of their funds in cold wallets so it's less error prone to get hacked. You may get your funds back if you are hacked. But still, there's literally no good reason to store any funds on any exchange in my opinion. Why would somebody risk their funds? And KYC, locking gambling money, the app could also be a downside for them.

That's why it's better to have your own hardware wallet if you want to have a safety feeling for storing your huge volume assets, but if you are a regular user which not hold to much then I think coinbase is good since for sure the people wants from it is the convenience for using on their daily transaction and I got no issue using it even from now but evethough no issue for me occur still I'm still careful since for me exchangers still not safety since it's prone from attacks and other forms of it.
4568  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dump - The Worst Thing on: December 03, 2019, 03:25:01 PM
Bitcoin Dump - The Worst Thing

When BTC dumps, all other coins also dump, it is worst thing because even if bitcoin dumps, then it should not effect the other cryptocurrency price value in BTC. i,e when BTC dumps the price value of altcoins is also drops while it should increase because btc downs. When people will realize it that it is not in their benefit?
will realize when all the coins that are held over time are losing their value. basically Alts is just an alternative to bitcoin and will definitely follow the influence of bitcoin. the only way to get profit even in the worst conditions like this is to do daily trading.

My friends and I do a leverage tradings with bitcoins and I can say that the profit is quit good unlike if we hold for long since chances to lose in the market situation like this is so high.

I hope you do know that almost all of the prices of altcoins are based on BTC. It's directly proportional.
  • When BTC drops in Price, Altcoins Suffer as well
  • When BTC increases in Price, Altcoins suffer as well

It's best to note that this is happening almost all of the time; it would just depend on the demand of a particular coin. Whether someone's buying it or not. That's the exception. So this is not common knowledge or isn't thought about, but it's true. I hope people would understand that concept when it comes to trading.

It's not the worst thing you know because you could take advantage of the drop by shorting the market. It would just depend on the exchange that you have if you could short it or long it.

This is the reality of altcoins. They highly depend on bitcoin for their value. Even the king of altcoins cannot make progress without bitcoin moving forward. Even in 2017, it was able to gain high value of almost 1k dollars and above with the help of the real king, bitcoin. Therefore, it is suggested to all the holders of crypto currencies to read and understand bitcoin first and then continue the job.

It always dependable since Bitcoin user s at the top and it is always paired to any alt's around that's why we can see it's dependable and also maybe we should not say without Bitcoin  alt's cannot make a progress since I saw so many project still doing great eventhough the market is so red and questionable.
4569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: December 03, 2019, 02:04:26 PM
In recent time cryptocurrency is not in a good shape. Many peoples are losing their money because of fraud but bitcoin is in a good shape and I hope in the year of 2020 bitcoin price will rise more.So it is the high time to invest bitcoin.

Many users here expect that the year 2020 will be the time to bounce back the bitcoin as well as the altcoins in which will able to pursue the unfipnish project way back 2017. If that will happen many investors will be back and those users that will continue to be part here especially those new ones here digital world.

They expect that there will be a bounce back due to to the fact that the next halving will come next year and there's a high possibilities that we will feel the same effect happened before that's why many people thinks good on it but actually in other hand maybe it's better if we don't expect more since every year is different and we are been strikes by long months of bear season so maybe it brings effect to the next halving.

But let's I still hoping to see a good figure and let see what will happen on next halving season.
4570  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Sell good for BTC when price is unknown yet on: December 03, 2019, 01:31:00 PM
Do such kind of service only with trusted users. Whether it can be through the forum or out of the forum, if you are dealing with bitcoin then it is a must to make the fund transacted through a trusted escrow. Another thing I've dealt similar services through PayPal, I purchased and shipped the product to the address provided. He paid me for the product shipping, and additional $10 in terms of Bitcoin equivalent to the amount that I've spend in the form of PayPal. As the value is small and made the purchase for a trusted person we didn't went for an escrow.

i think escrow is not his concern but the price of the product . as we know that btc is a highly volatile kind of coin , we must make an agreement first to the buyer or the escrow about the total amount that we will be recieving or they buyer's amount that he will pay so that all transactions were clear and smooth  . in your case you use a paypal as medium of payment   . paypal is stabe so less hassel if itll be use on your side but people thesedays now prefer cryptos  .

Actually there's a stable coin like usdt and tusd option to choose for if he likes  the convenience of using the crypto and he can select that to use in their transaction and for that he can lessen the fee with good transaction speed and I'm kinda little doubtful for PayPal since it has a dispute and also the fee is to high per transaction that's why it's not a good option for people who want to save from transaction fees.

I think it's better to not pressure ourselves for that things since actually it's really not the main thing in this forum if you want to earn money out of it, there are so many options to choose with but make sure you have enough skills to do the task and get a better result but if you really aiming for becoming a high rank member here maybe one thing we should improve is our attitude since for sure it will reflect to our posting style and if we contributes good especially to those new members here most provably we can get our merit goals here.
4572  Economy / Economics / Re: finding investors on: December 03, 2019, 07:47:08 AM
Not all of the investors are like that. There are still plenty of investors in the market that are looking for thew new or fresh projects out there that has a lot of potential to grow in the market. To be honest, investing in new projects is one of the shortcuts to make tons of money because they are so undervalued until they get some hype which drives the price high.
The increasing failure rate of icos, the fact that many do not reach their soft or hard caps and the bitcoin dominance seems to contradict your proposition, investors are not really interested in new projects anymore unless it is completely clear that those projects are good, otherwise they know that they are just gambling with their money and that most likely they are not going to get any benefits from investing in those coins as it has been the norm for many years.
The trend for the ICOs are now dead and the new thing as of now is what we called IEO, old and new investors are now into that and they find it convenient because it is already listed in an exchange so they don't need to worry about waiting. Even though there are bad experiences from the past, it should not discourage you to continue trying to invest and grow your money.

The ICO has been fade away due to the fact that there are so many scammers joining in that's why many investors feel annoyed and stay away with it, and I wonder if IEO will get a big hit these days since for sure the bad track of ICO will give an reaction to investors to trust the IEO that's why we see some IEO failed recently and maybe it's best not to invest on this kind of investment option since there are more better unlike on this where no totally guarantee that we can earn after they successfully completed.
4573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting scammed on: December 02, 2019, 12:41:37 PM
I got scammed by this project called temtum. Signed up for their bounty months ago, posting for their campaign, filling up 2 kyc forms and pushing for its deadline, and now they are telling me i didnt pass it. It is not only me who encountered this. Hello Richard Dennis.

Why would you risk your personal information just for a few bucks in a bounty campaign? Its not even worth it. You're just putting yourself in grave danger your personal information might be used for something illegal over the internet. If you're not aware, there are online loans that only requires a selfie with ID verification. It could be used on that transactions. Im just sighting one example although there are still a lot in the internet.
Yes it is true what you say, if we think about giving out our personal information by filling in the form kyc and who knows who will read and use what personal information we have does have the risk of being misused. But, many bounty projects require participating people to fill in the form kyc to be able to get tokens from what they have done, and here of course I think the bounty hunters will give their information by filling out forms to get their tokens and they certainly don't want anything what is done is useless and unpaid.

It's really suck to have that requirements and participants didn't have a choice since they will not get paid if they will not provide their KYC informations and actually I'm one of those guys who forc to do so that's why for now I'm avoiding it since if I insist to continue to provide my KYC details for just a shitcoin for sure I will encounter a future big problem for doing that.

And now I'm not joining on any of them if they required and people should do it also to avoid self harm.
4574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 02, 2019, 06:36:51 AM
Anti-crypto campaigner and perennial Bitcoin basher, Nouriel Roubini, is at it again. But this time around, he’s after Ethereum (ETH). According to a tweet by “Dr. Doom,” Ethereum is still a long way from its “fundamental value” of $0. Just like his previous criticism on Bitcoin, Roubini is certain that in the long run, ETH will hit a $0 price mark.

For some time now, Dr. Doom has been bashing cryptocurrency with his skepticism of several financial markets, including bitcoin.

Source link here

ETH to zero? In your dreams, hater!!!

There come a time that ETH may be bottoming out within this month, but it would not go down to zero for sure.

Before Virgil Griffith was arrested, he shared to me and the rest of the attendees last January 2019 at the Boracay Blockchain Summit about Ethereum's proof-of-stake and the future developments, and why we should be excited about them in the long run. Same thing with Vitalik Buterin when he talks about Ethereum's bright future at Token 2049 Hongkong.

After the Ethereum supermeetup, he and the other keynote speakers are in an AMA session answering the community's questions related to the project.

For me, I honestly think that we should be excited about Ethereum's long-term future, not focusing on Roubini's hate speech about them, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

To be honest, Nouriel Roubini is nothing but an all-in-one stupid idiot!

This is nothing more than fud, like seriously won't they just rest or leave this space, must he say rubbish all the time just to gain attention. One things that is painful about all these, is the fact some people tend to listen to him while he tends to stock up as soon as possible. Nevertheless, he can fool the uneducated but not everyone, so let him continue and one day he is going to shoot himself on the leg. Let him go for all these shitcoins flying around and leave top coins alone, or better still exit this space.

We better educate people on not to trust on this kind of words since eventhough we know how shit we are but if he pursue this kind of shit and promote it to those person who didn't know the scam schemes made by them for sure there will still be a victim and gladly there's a post of this for reference so that if they can locate this thread and read they can think for there selves if it's worth to join on insane platform made by untrust worthy guy.
4575  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Type of crypto school on: December 02, 2019, 04:58:04 AM
In my opinion, the crypto world lacks education at the moment as I believe that more and more people would love to learn crypto, but do not have a school that would satisfy them. I'm wondering which type of person are you and what kind of school would be better for you?
Voted video, but don't get me wrong. Most of modern days tutorials/videos on youtube are first 5 minutes talking about channel and nothing serious,  then talking thinking its explaining something, but lack of actual knowledge is visible at once, then 5 more minutes about channel and subscribe.
Shorter but with more actual knowledge videos are good for me.

I can't seem to vote. I agree that a video is better as well. I think what's important now is more adoption, the more people start owning crypto and using it, the better it will be, and a short straightforward video is a good method. There is a trend now where people have been YouTubing for answers instead of Googling, especially the younger generation. Having a good video may influence this younger group and make them more open up to crypto at an earlier age.

Yeah because I found reading on text is so boring and not totally enjoyably to me that's why I mostly go on video with text subs is a great plus since it is good for better interaction and easy to understand since there's a visualization on what the creator explaining on his tutorials.

Reading books is outdated right now it's sad to say it is but it's the reality.
4576  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Thought you guys might be interested in this bitcoin mobile game I'm making on: December 02, 2019, 04:06:04 AM
2D is actually great for people who are at ease for playing it but currently we are on advance stage and I think having a 3D selection for users is a good addition since not all loves 2D Like me I found it boring since I feel like left behind for playing it and maybe 3D is good in terms on counteraction movement of the player on game time.

I see what you are saying but the thing here is that this game is meant to be played 2D. If you transform it into a 3D game, then you would have to change the game entirely which I think the OP doesn't want. OP can't please everyone so if he can't please you with his work, then we can't do anything about it (But you can if you try the game  Smiley).

Game developing is hard. You can't just change something just because you want to in a short time (especially the design of 2D into 3D). Also take note, 3D game developing is more complex than 2D because of so many dynamics you have to put in their rules. The OP is not getting payed yet for his time and he is a single developer so making a 2D game that looks good like this is impressive.

Actually it's just a little piece of suggestion and having a option is great since it will make appealing to both 2D and 3D game lover but anyways It's all matter on the OP choice since he is the one who develop this beautiful game and It's really good thing to see the involvement of bitcoins on the game.

2D is actually great for people who are at ease for playing it but currently we are on advance stage and I think having a 3D selection for users is a good addition since not all loves 2D Like me I found it boring since I feel like left behind for playing it and maybe 3D is good in terms on counteraction movement of the player on game time.

Actually, 2D Games are pretty popular nowadays, most people feel nostalgic playing 2D games since it resembles some of the old popular 2D games in their childhood, you know, like those mushroom loving brothers rescuing a princess?

To OP, the game design for this one is actually pretty decent and I like how you've incorporated BTCitcoin, Fiat, Trading and other cool stuff into this game. I would really love to play this one.
One suggestion though, do not make the game difficulty so high 'cause it could usually take the fun out of the game and make it just plain frustrating.  Wink

Actually I agree to that since we all start at 2D game back days but it's kinda good to see some good innovation nowadays so that these game will compete to the other who came out first.

But anyways I think there's an option on which difficulty will suits you since it's a game and that will test your skills. And also hopefully there is a reward system will impose by playing the game so that players will feel inspired to play and earn on this game.
4577  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bizarre crash! What cause bitcoin crash?? on: December 01, 2019, 01:56:50 PM
The current sharp fluctuations came from the news from China where firstly President Xi praised blockchain technology which spread a buying trend on Chinese people. Than came the officials statement about cracking down on crypto trade. There were also news of raiding of different crypto related companies and projects that has spread a fear on Chinese investors.

oh ?  i notice that china are always involved whenever there are crashes like the one's we currently experiencing  . on the times that bitcoin rises up china was also the main reason about its rise but sad to say that china was also the reason on why the price dumped too hard  .

oh well , china is a huge country and most people here love's to enter business such as mining , crypto investing  trading and more  so that should not be questionable after all  .

I think not all the times since there are certain particulars that contributed on the dump happening right now and not always the china contributes it since there are many fuds has been spread without the involvement of china, and maybe we should be optimistic the the situstion since fudster uses the china for long time and blame them when dump is occuring.
4578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: December 01, 2019, 12:56:44 PM
trading has been a difficult process for novices and minor traders. it could be tempting most times if you dont understand the market movement and TA. you might loose patience and cancel out a trade you might regret later. i have cancel out many trades that later ended up in huge profits. i have also cancel some successfully. i just curious to know if there is any sure way to this trading were by you hold on a trade.
This is based on your judgment and consistency in trading. I have also tried a strategy of holding orders longer than 1 month and feel very tired but the results are worth it. in order to keep the order for a long time, we should determine before speculating when we should cancel this order and when we should hold it next? And sometimes there will be times when you are frustrated with waiting too long but we need to follow the plan and not make mistakes with what you have set. That personality will make you unbeatable in trading.

What altcoins are you holding on?
Maybe you are lucky to hold that coins for long time and earn with it since there are several alts right now are experiencing a huge dump and for that matters the holder are lose more since they are continuously dumping since the current market state is so annoying to see. That's why for me at this moment I do trade my alts whenever I see a good pump and earn with it even in low percentage and luckily the profits I get from doing this trade is consistent and reliable as of this moment.
4579  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on? on: December 01, 2019, 12:31:15 PM
Can't predict accurately who does this, but whales are what I only see that can do such manipulation desptie steady uptrend on the price. If you look at the charts, the dumps are quite steep and its either large players or manipulators. It's quite normal months before the anticipated halving, manipulations are a thing for these whales to profit as much as they could until the next bubble that would happen.
This said to be because of whales or due to those who have large holdings that manipulating the ups and down or simply because of the volatility of the market we will keep experiencing this. That's why we need to know whether the alts that we still have is updated, we need to be updated in news too every now and then.

Manipulation or not we shouldn't get panic on the situation since if we are crying for the market movements this days for sure we will end up losers in the game but if we know how to play with it maybe we can earn together with those whales that's why we need to understand first the tradings and chart reading so that we may know on when to react and what to do when certain but things strike in quick instance.

is it possible for it to be available in PC? it's just that the game seems would be easier to play in PC rather than in android. other than that the game looks promising!

You can use an emulator to play on PC. I believe most modern PCs could run Bluestack good enough.

Anyway, better support him with money too if you like the game.

I use bluestacks to play android games on pc and provably this one would possibly to.

I'm a fan of 2D games and I could say, this one has potential. I would really love to play this on release.

Heres a clip
https://imgur.com/Txm3kJR

This is a free game, with no ads and should be released before Christmas on android. I have quite a few Easter eggs in it already but if there are any suggestions you want to make for things you want added in the game. Let me know, I'm open to suggestions.

It's just me working on it and if you want to support the game's development - bc1qxtfwa9hnq0ql5e39r3qet5sw8ere2amrnkphs9

Honestly, the concept of the game is really interesting because it was related to bitcoin. But I'll tell you frankly, no offense mate, I think only few will appreciate this because 1) the game is low graphics which is already outdated in this generation. The kids nowadays mainly focus on how good the graphics of a game is, as well as the story line; and 2) If it doesn't give them money, they'll passed. Understand that crypto investors are very busy making money so for sure they have least or no time for playing. Nonetheless, props for your work. Maybe you can do something (like giving rewards I guess) to make your game more interesting.

1) No, that's not low graphic but a 2D graphic design which is cool for most people. Also, I think this is not aimed for kids so it doesn't need to have those fancy 3D graphic effects and so much just to please kids because I doubt they would know what Bitcoin is.

2) No, they will play it because they are interested in relaxing and having fun. Not all people are 24/7 making money. If it's a good game and it interest people, then people will play it. Games are meant to played for fun and not for making money anyways. Not all crypto investors are busy.

If you've search far enough, you will see how popular 2D games really is.

2D is actually great for people who are at ease for playing it but currently we are on advance stage and I think having a 3D selection for users is a good addition since not all loves 2D Like me I found it boring since I feel like left behind for playing it and maybe 3D is good in terms on counteraction movement of the player on game time.
