According to a tweet by “Dr. Doom,” Ethereum is still a long way from its “fundamental value” of $0. Just like his previous criticism on Bitcoin, Roubini is certain that in the long run, ETH will hit a $0 price mark.

There come a time that ETH may be bottoming out within this month, but it would not go down to zero for sure.

Before Virgil Griffith was arrested, he shared to me and the rest of the attendees last January 2019 at the Boracay Blockchain Summit about Ethereum's proof-of-stake and the future developments, and why we should be excited about them in the long run. Same thing with Vitalik Buterin when he talks about Ethereum's bright future at Token 2049 Hongkong.

After the Ethereum supermeetup, he and the other keynote speakers are in an AMA session answering the community's questions related to the project.

For me, I honestly think that we should be excited about Ethereum's long-term future, not focusing on Roubini's hate speech about them, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

This is a popular strategy to spread FUD about something and buying them in a cheap price and creating another hype. As a investor and trader, we should apply our due diligence and try to be a step ahead of the masses to make a profit. Dumping all your coins at once is never a solution unless its a total scam.

We all know that this is just the FUD of the whales and it makes the young sheep bewildered that this is the future and they will sell off their coins. then the messenger will be the one who ordered all those coins and will later sell them at a higher price.

Most of the time, people who spread fud like that are not even paid but they only want to take advantage once the price of ethereum goes down or any other crypto. It shows only that they want to make a profit by buying at the lowest price to have a maximum profit. It has been done for how many years and we should not give any attention to this kind of people.

Paid by the banks maybe? Well, that’s a great job to earn money but they will not succeed because cryptocurrency is growing and the only way for us is to go higher. I don’t see ETH to go back to zero because its a good technology with a real usage in this market, same with bitcoin. People who spread FUD are hoping to buy cheaper coins, so much risk to follow those kind of speculation so newbies should be aware of that.

I also think it's impossible if ETH will fall to zero. if there is a decline and a shift in that position it might occur. sometimes people get their pendants irrelevant. and it could be that he issued his opinion like that because he was experiencing frustration with the development of ETH at this time and also other altcoin on the exchange.

yes, after a bull trend someone is trying to bring someone down because they were jealous of someone's success, opinions like this should not be allowed, their opinions are not like the facts. the crypto community grows and expands, of course it won't let prices fall to $ 0 in both Bitcoin and Ethereum. the fact is that Ethereum continues to be used, even many industries have supported Ethereum's smart contracts.

Seeing from Nouriel Roubini's tweets, it is clear that he is ignorant of not really understanding crypto-world, and the transparency of blockchain technology.

Just let those people think the way they are. As you said, we all know how promising eth is, and haters of a certain altcoin is only natural. We don't know the reason but who knows, maybe he has a bad experience behind this hate. If he hates it, it won't do any harm to eth since supporters believe that even after every dump, there is a great pump that will happen in the future.
