Gold is hardcore manipulated, a big part of it is done with naked shorts. At least that's not possible with BTC, if I see it clearly.
The question is if we should be concerned about JP Morgan ever taking over BTC like they have taken over silver and gold and controlling it.

I am not sure what happened with team India we saw on tours and on home ground, i guess this is the first team to struggle at home and out perform in foreign soil  , there is no hope for India to win this match from this situation as they have already lost 6 wickets for 138 runs and with Kedar Jadhav the only recognized batsmen, it is an impossible task. Smart contracts have little value, and now there has been stability. Ethereum has also been hit. Other coins have begun to have smart contract technology, so this will not be the reason for Bitcoin to take off again in the future.
If the project is good enough then the smart contract would be a good deal and you will see more investors investing in it, but that is not the case all of the time, people are easily convinced in the market and what ever advertisement they see regarding any projects you will see a team behind to create all these buzz so that it attract new users, if the project does have a viable presence then it is a different story. |

Although it’s true that Bitcoin is and would always set the trend but its beneficial to other coins because increase or rise in bitcoin is always a time for those who are unable to afford bitcoin to get other coin.
If there is a massive rally in bitcoin then there is a possibility that the users will dump the rest of the coins in the crypto markets and enter into bitcoin and you really cannot undermine that situation too. Usually we see the price of the entire market will increase when there is a rally and bitcoin usually has the biggest rally and any coin in the market will not match those price performance. |

Finally, first I thought that this fall of BTC price started in middle november 2018 was just a whales manipulation, to get better buing price for the next year, but now it seems that the price is really down as it does not have power to do any up movement. And without stimulus it will probably not move.
When the price of bitcoin is going higher no one complains about the whales manipulating the market to go higher, but when the market comes down crashing everyone is blaming these whales for the market situation. Without these whales coming into the market we wont see the mad rallies we saw in the past and everyone is waiting for these whales to invest again so that the market rallies and earn their profits. |

Look at the ICO coin based on the Exchanger they entered. If they are listed their coins, to a large exchanger or top exchanger, then our chances of selling fast will be better. But if you want to wait, at least 2-3 months (based on my experience) the price of coins can increase many times.
The price depends on individual projects on how the price will move, majority of the projects that came out last year got dumped bad rather than going high from the initial price, so it depends upon individual projects, earlier we used to see the market going higher after the ICO and after hitting the exchanges, but those days are over and with more regulations coming up we wont see those fake projects again. @OP what are the coins you are holding so that will have an opinion on what to do with it. |

Monero is one of the leading privacy cryptocurrency but i prefer zcash over it on the market but you really believe those currencies will escape from the regulation and AML i mean anti-money laundering?
It is a really interesting situation on what the regulators will think about privacy coins and how they are going to deal with them in the future, will they force the exchange to remove the coin from trading in public platforms, it is a question for the future on how the market deals with those obstacles. Have you seen the latest news? that has explained that the bitcoin gets a lot of growth on its dark net transaction and why they don't use monero to keep the anonymous instead of use bitcoin to create a payment in the dark web? Can you explain?
I am not sure which news you are following and which site is accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment in dark net, it is just old news resurfacing again and the truth is far from that. Majority of the dark net sites only accepts monero and nothing else, when there are a few privacy coins who in the right sense will use bitcoin when they are dealing in the dark web as the sole purpose is privacy. |

Well, let us see if that happens. But you know what, I'm more interested to happen Cormier vs Lesnar first. I am getting hyped every time I think that there tendencies of Lesnar tapping out or knockdown from a smarter fighter once again  . The only interested sequence i want to see is that both were wrestlers and they never met inside the mat during their reign and one must of forget that Cormier is an Olympic level wrestler and i really do not see any way Lesnar could beat him even in his prime, if not for Jon Jones who i consider is the greatest of all time everyone would say Cormier is the best fighter ever but he is best fight who transitioned from wrestling to MMA. Maybe its time for a rematch between Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos. In terms of wins, its 1:1 for both Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos.
I would like to see Stipe Miocic fighting against Cain Velasquez as both are coming off a loss, it would be a great story considering they never faced each other and Stipe never fought after his loss against Cormier and he needs to fight again before fighting for the title again rather than asking for a rematch as he was knocked out clean and not even a lucky shot. |

Would you say that Bitcoin has shed it's speculator skin and emerged as a true currency, after this correction? I think with most of the speculators left the Bitcoin scene in the last year or so and Bitcoin has truly transformed into a community of people who are more interested in the technology and using the technology as a currency. <This explains the stable price>  As long as there is investment in the bitcoin market you wont be seeing a stable price and that literally means never and with the introduction of future markets the cycle is complete, it is a market like we never saw before with all the possibilities in one and it is a tremendous growth in a short space, now we are waiting for the mass adoption and traders understanding the true potential and it will happen soon and then it will be the true money of the internet. |

-Invest in USD- USA could collapse and experience mass inflation making your dollars nearly worthless You might not see those situations in your life time, so do not need to worry about that. -Invest in Bonds- Government could collapse making your bonds worthless
It depends upon where you stay, if you are in a volatile environment, then it is much riskier, but in normal countries they will have some fundamentals. -Invest in real estate- Housing prices could crash, natural disaster could hit and insurance company could go bankrupt Have you heard any insurance company going bankrupt other than bad policies by the management. -Invest in metals- prices could crash, asteroid mining could collapse prices The price of doing that will be astronomical, just imagine the initial cost, the price will not drop even in that case. Your money is never 100% safe no matter where it is invested.
This part is true, your money is not safe 100% anywhere, even if you store in your house, someone can steal, natural disasters as you mentioned , anything can happen, if you store in a third party, it can go bankrupt by the bad policies of the management. |

It depends upon where you stand logically, if you are safeguarding your business because a better option is out which can be used by anyone in the world and trade without boundaries could disrupt some business enterprises and for them it will create problems , other than that it is a better solution for everyone to trade internationally. Volatility will remain so long cryptocurrency or bitcoin is decentralized. Is simple, the reason for volatility as far as cryptocurrency is concern is because it is not moderated or controlled. And so any body can order whatever volume or dump too.
This is why some icos try to regulate how much coin you can order for at times but this is just on their individual platform.
Volatility and decentralization does not have anything in common, look at stock exchanges and forex, they are not decentralized yet you see volatility in the market, as long as there are new investors into any form of investment, the price will be volatile and there is nothing that can be done, the increase in price depends upon the buy and sell order and that determines the market situation. |
