4562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whats the point with bitcoin donations? on: August 06, 2018, 04:35:13 AM
these days people have a lot of useless shitcoins in their wallets like ethereum so they can throw them away much easier than throwing away the valuable bitcoin that is why they donate ethereum, dogecoin,... more than they donate bitcoin. they want to keep the valuable and give away the useless Wink

i think its just a matter of time, till the public will take the bitcoin sect to justice.

when the us dollar dies, people wont calculate their contracts in bitcoins, or their work, like they did with us dollar,

then altcoins will have completely different evaluation,

it will be then an important moment, when the pow nonsense starts to disappear again

A good idea, but you need to change the interface of the website and add some rank members will be more interesting.

he is in a tough competition actually with steemit that rewards users with money

interesting new start up how is work going, are you also adapting waves plattform token or only ethereum plattform token?

is it also possible to order a card with a certain cryptocurrency on it?

cryptocurrencies will make the financial system more sustainable and create growth impulses, but will also create gaps and problems.

While it's not about cryptocurrency/cryptography project, https://pineapplefund.org/ is one of the most famous donation/charity which use Bitcoin.

Besides, there's nothing to lose by accepting Bitcoin donation even if barely any people who would do it.

there is

by accepting altcoin donations they give value to the altcoins,

i have seen so far some websites that take ETH and Waves donations but not bitcoin since they dont get any bitcoin donations anymore like it was more likely in the past
4566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whats the point with bitcoin donations? on: August 06, 2018, 01:47:31 AM
donations, even if you ignore the currency type. is a flawed income generation model.

even these mainstream news sites try to avoid putting up a 'paywall' but then do a donate request. they dont get much and thats from a national fiat currency.
donations of bitcoin in the past were much higher. but that was in the time where people didnt think it would surpass $20. now people are afraid to donate and even afraid to spend bitcoin because they feel if they donate/buy coffee this year, they could have used that exact amount of satoshis to 'buy a lambo' in 2 years.

if people want income. there are many other better ways to get it

this is about supporting cryptoprojects in general

bitcoins deflationary behavior, isnt good at all, and it will damage it.

main problem currently are the gambling banksters, only they can make bitcoin worth a lambo
4567  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Post your own crypto news/content anonymously for free - CoinScribble on: August 06, 2018, 01:43:57 AM
how long are you in the market?

CoinScribble is less than a month old. However, I've personally been involved in the space for over a year.

you have also a forum/chat, community system where, people can talk or propose new article topics?

4569  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Unique Identifier Registry for Cryptocurrencies - CUID on: August 05, 2018, 08:54:19 PM
I can't really see the decentralized world jumping on a centralized tracking system...  :/

the idea is creating a standard rather than a unique identifier database on Ethereum.

What kind of standard made them choose 1 and 2 respectively?  There will have to be a central resource controlling duplicate numbers.

thats going to be their data base, then, apperently they seek to create a registry for digital assets.

which i promote we need some corruption free windows in the industry.

otherwise ex billionaires will sooner or later take property over the sane secctor of the industry.
4570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can we become a Bounty Manager? on: August 05, 2018, 07:40:15 PM

they write out task for earning bounties.
4571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / whats the point with bitcoin donations? on: August 05, 2018, 07:27:48 PM
i see many people accepting btc donations, on their project websites,

next to ethereum,

but bitcoin isn't donated nowadays at all its mainly just speculated with,

its mostley ethereum or waves plattform token that are being donated.

4572  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Unique Identifier Registry for Cryptocurrencies - CUID on: August 05, 2018, 06:54:46 PM
Hi,

We are a new free&open platform trying to solve cryptocurrencies name/symbol conflict. Basically, we are creating a unique identifier database for each altcoin/token. Project's name is CUID. Our mission is to encourage exchanges & cryptocurrency info websites to add CUID field in their API data. Also, we provide a tool that you can search coin/token and find its CUID. We already start to define popular currencies. Send request to create CUID of a coin/token.

We need a standard to match with cryptocurrency while using APIs and other data communications. We are trying to create the standard and make that used by exchanges, cryptocurrency info websites. Any platform which has API with CUID standard will put our LOGO on their page. Because there is no restriction to name a new currency on the blockchain, in the future, we need a unique identifier as a standard for cryptocurrencies.

For example for Bitcoin CUID is BTC100001
http://cuid.services/decode/?BTC100001

ETH100001 - Ethereum
http://cuid.services/decode/?ETH100001

ETH100002 - ETHOS
http://cuid.services/decode/?ETH100002

We will seek for conferences and events to spread the word, we will contact all websites and exchange to integrate CUID in their APIs, also you can request if from your API owner to use CUID. Join our community to help us grow. Do not forget to donate us ETH to accomplish our mission.

Maybe, in the future CUID Registry can transform into a platform that licensing project to a public utility.

Web page (Search Tool, Decoder etc.): http://cuid.services
Github: https://github.com/cuiddev/cuidregistry

Donation/contribution/marketing support really helps.

i would be interested registering at your index, i also give you some merit, and add you to my cryptoindustry overfew page, i wish you all success for this project

https://www.cryptoproductivity.org/research

Thank you for your support. I saw your request on Github, then we can continue from there.

i will check out your community,

i recommend you to add the other plattform tokens as a donation source, like waves, neo

btc donations are actually overexagerated no one donates bitcoin anymore at all.

its just a habit of the website and internet to ask for bitcoin donations.

run the encription plattform services. as a donation source.
4573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The SEC - Will they ever speak the same language on Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2018, 01:03:06 PM
So, we know the Winklevoss ETF was denied, but what are the SEC's opinions on Bitcoin ETFs from both sides of the debate :

SEC Chairman Jay Clayton On Cryptocurrencies And Investing | CNBC - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFr1ooaVPjY

VS

CNBC Exclusive: Interview with SEC commissioner Hester Peirce - BTC ETF. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sK5Z77FMyM&feature=youtu.be&t=1202

Jay Clayton says, "We have been doing this for years x 3 and play by our rules or we will deny your application."

Hester Peirce says, "Let's remove all barrier to entry and allow innovation to prosper"

Will these people ever come together to make a favourable decision on Bitcoin ETFs or are they just too far apart?

Why should they want to deny Bitcoin ETFs based on global market manipulation and then allow other ETFs, where the

manipulation is rife?

No! i rather expect the SEC to disappear in the future, than becoming one minded, they cant legalise a single private currency and have it more market attention in the media than others.

thats not allowed. according to the 3 slogans of the french revolution, "egalite, fraternite, liberte"
4574  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Thinking of Starting A Review Site on: August 05, 2018, 12:23:40 PM
Any ideas how profitable a review site can be? I've been writing for news sites and review sites for the past year and now dream of starting a review project. Ideas are welcomed.

i am afraid utlimately a huge army of burocrats will win instead of billions of micro review communities they will form a huge review agency like S&P similar like they already did before.
4575  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are we evolving backwards? on: August 05, 2018, 11:42:25 AM
Yeah, advancements and technology do exist in our era but based on researches it seems that we are losing instead of gaining in different terms of pur humanity and character. Discipline is naught; birthrate increases but resources becomes depleted. The lifespan of a human is gradually going down. Nature is becoming more dangerous than it was before.

Are we really moving forward? Or are we lacking some essential aspect that a human requires?

hmm human character you say, lets check into the past, as its not clearly what it is supposed to be.

corporation grows a civilisational size. and gods and theisms where always part of the human evolution.

i cant say that. as i dont know what is a pure human character.

what is right however,

is that technology and urbanisation is used to maintain social and economic harmony. to a certain extent, currently thats true.

4576  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the connection between a project and its tokens? on: August 05, 2018, 11:39:44 AM
What is exactly tokens of a project? How it has a value? Is it like shares? I am a newbie for bounty hunting and these things confusing me each time I read whitepapers of projects.  Cry

they can be a variation of things

for example they could be just marks of support. without any obligation but a potential future volunatry one.

they could be shares.

and they could be uttility token like it was the case for ethereum

4577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as World Currency... on: August 05, 2018, 11:36:42 AM
your picture doesn't suits to your thought. whether bitcoin will become world currency or not it is another subject but the popularity and demand of it can not be overlooked.

na there are different social issues that power it, i have shown that in an illustration called the 6 columns of bitcoin
4578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as World Currency... on: August 05, 2018, 11:01:21 AM
Bitcoin may well be a successful global currency, thus optimizing all our international and domestic payments.. It's convenient.

there were never successful currencies that made all unendingly happy, they all were still assymetric,

the difference, between bitcoin and the world bank based money, is clearly not just the burocracy removed.

the world bank money got created for work arround common needed social infrastructure and activities.

bitcoin isnt created with such an impulse. the electricity waste of it, could be considered like the equivalent of the burocracy. but unlike the world bank money, they arent spend for infrastructure but for the personal desires. of the miners.

i personally think that the decentrality myth and the future world currency myth will fade away and the bitcoin community will be considerd in a bad light like an annoying selfcentered pow miner sect.

because it is that way from a socioeconomic point of view (perspective).

I am a Hodler, I have waited for straight 8 difficult months to see the bulls return, we were having some semblance to a boom in the last 2 weeks, now market cap is struggling with 250 Billion $. How long are we going to wait?

HODL is for losers and prolets, i am afraid,

instead of the bearmarket to dissappear you will get a dissolution of the us dollar, and then you have several hundred million of extremely volatile markets
4580  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will the Bear Market End? on: August 04, 2018, 09:04:34 PM

I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts for a few years. Only those who have been through the bear market in 2013 will know from the bottom of their hearts that a rebound can take time. I wouldn't call you a holder because you have kept your bitcoins for 8 months. You need to be a lot more patient. You have seen nothing so far.

the end of the us dollar will break your neck no way, to say what bitcoin is worth then.
