There are 19 days left on Messi's contract but he still hasn't made a decision about staying or leaving.  I am sure this means he will stay in Barcelona. Messi will play with Aguero in the next season, he is a countrymate. Messi should be more comfortable playing with his friend in Argentina's national team. Another reason, we always heard a rumor of Messi leaving Barcelona in every transfer window, but it never happens. We can conclude that Messi probably tries to stay in Barcelona as long as possible. Messi may think to spend his professional career as a football player in Barcelona. Then, he can has a chance to be the next coach for the Barcelona team. You may be right. Bringing Aguero to the team was a really smart move that can affect Messi's decision. But I'm still having my doubts about the current situation. Everyone is waiting anxiously for him to decide what he will do. It would be really shocking for Barcelona fans for sure to hear that he decides to leave. |

If Haaland decides to stay in Dortmund next season, and if his teammates (Gini and Depay) do not change teams. Then, this is the right time for Dortmund management to hire a new experienced and skilled coach for the team. And to fight for the title. If Dortmund had an experienced coach like Zidane, I think the performance of their players would have been much better.
It is better to see Haaland staying in Bundesliga, at least with him, Dortmund might have a chance to compete vs Bayern. They need an experienced coach for sure but dunno why I felt it weired reading Zidane's part. I don't see him in Bundesliga, maybe Serie A, EPL or French national team but not in other leagues. It would be better for Dortmund to see Haaland deciding to stay of course. Because if he leaves, Dortmund will lose a great deal of power on their attacking line. But I don't see Haaland staying anymore. I believe that one of some big clubs will make an offer which he won't decline and he will go there. |

I was really afraid when I saw Eriksen falling to the ground. They gave him CPR and I was really relieved to see him alive while they were taking him. I hope that Eriksen gets well very quickly.

In the opening game of the tournament, Italy literally destroyed Turkey, 3-0. Turkey had a really terrible gameplay which affected them very negatively. They didn't have even one shot on target. It was a fully-deserved win for Italy and I hope that Turkey can gather themselves up. Because their squad is full of capable players actually. They should play a much more attacking football to achieve something good here.

I feel like Sancho to United and Haaland to Chelsea could likely be happening and a shock transfer move by Ronaldo to United. Maybe at least I’m hoping to see it. Lol. So I guess, or hope, City has no choice but to try and get Messi then and let him play the false 9 role? I don’t care what anybody says. I just want to be entertained and nerd out like a real fan. Sancho to Manchester Utd and Haaland to Chelsea are still very likely. Manchester Utd seem as the closest team to be able to sign Sancho now. As long as they can afford him, I assume there won't be any problem. When it comes to Haaland, Chelsea have a really big chance to sign him unless a bigger team like Bayern etc. try to sign him also. |

We've seen hell of a game between Djokovic and Nadal. Nadal started really impressive and managed to win the first set (6-3). But Djokovic wasn't intending to give up and made a huge comeback. He won one of the sets after a tiebreak (7-4) but the other ones were more comfortable (6-3, 6-2).
Congrats to Djokovic for the 3-1 win and reaching the final!

The third game of the Bucks - Nets series was really interesting as it was a low-scoring one. It was really competitive for sure and ended 86-83 (Bucks victory). Middleton and Giannis literally carried the team with similar statistics and double-doubles. Irving and Durant didn't succeed this time. The series is 2-1 now but I think that Nets will move Bucks out of their way 4-1 or 4-2.

Andre Silva was really a blessing to Eintracht Frankfurt this season. The Portuguese star performed greatly with 28 goals ( of which 7 are penalties goals) in 32 appearances, he came out 2nd in the top 5 goals scorers in Bundesliga 2020/2021. Although, Robert Lewandowski came out 1st with 41 goals.
It is rumoured that Manchester City have an eye on Andre Silva as they hunt for a striker to replace Aguero, and I think Andre will actually make a good replacement.
Andre Silva was absolutely awesome. He had a very productive year that he has drawn all the attention to himself. But I think that Manchester City would try to sign Haaland first. If they fail on it, then I guess they could make the signing with Andre Silva. |

I also think that they can't buy Sancho and Ronaldo at the same time. I assume that they are not that strong financially now. I actually like both of these players. Ronaldo transfer would be really meaningful for Manchester United. But Sancho seems to be more logical. Let's see what's going to happen. |

Dias deserves to be POTY, he came in as a new signing & controlled the defence. City struggled a little at CB the season before, he came in & greatly improved them. I can’t think of anybody else who really deserves it instead of him.
I like the fact that defenders are now given the respect they deserves, everything shouldn't be about goals and assists, in this case defenders will be able to win the Balon d'or just it was before. I didn't see much of Dias last season but I've not seen a single person go against the award. I was actually quite surprised when Ruben Dias was chosen as the best Premier League player for the 2020/2021 season. Even though Dias had to compete with eight other names. Like Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, Harry Kane, Bruno Fernandes and so on. Finally Dias won the vote, Dias was immediately able to adapt to other Manchester City players after being brought in from Benfica. Dias managed to keep Man City's defense well, Dias also managed to match 3 other defenders who won the Premier League best player award. Like Nemanja Vidic, Vincent Kompany and Virgil Van Dijk who had previously felt as the best Premier League player too. I also hope the defenders can win the Balon D'or, we'll see if next season Dias can play well again like this season. I think that Ruben Dias had a great season. He definitely strengthened Manchester City's defense a lot. Because Manchester City were having bigger problems on defense before him. It is arguable whether he was the right player to be chosen as the best player of the last season. But he was one of the bests to me. |

Now that we know that Ancelotti is Real's new coach, the interesting question is why Real chose him, and what Real wants to achieve with the new coach.
The goal is clear, buddy. Real Madrid wants to get the title both in UCL and La Liga. Among available coaches to sign for the next year, Ancelotti may be the closest one who fulfilled the criteria. He also ever managed Real Madrid and has a quite good history in 2013-2015. I assume Real Madrid management wants to give him another opportunity to do his best for the Real Madrid squad. And I think by signing Ancelotti, Real Madrid has decided wisely, he has the capacity to lead Real Madrid in getting the best achievement both in UCL and La Liga. I don't think Real Madrid have the ability to win La Liga and UCL at the moment. The team still relies entirely on Benzema to score. Real Madrid need another regular scorer. Moreover, if Ramos, the main pillar of Real Madrid's defense, leaves Real Madrid, their defense will become even weaker. Real Madrid will not find an experienced defender like Ramos now Real Madrid need to create alternatives by signing a top striker for sure. And when it comes to Ramos, he is absolutely one of the most important defenders (and players also) for Real Madrid. But he will leave the team one way or another in the end. I believe that they will manage to find a strong defender like him also. |

The final game of Clippers - Mavericks series is going on great. We are in the 3rd quarter and the score is 74-72 right now. Doncic is playing superbly again. He is so close to making a double-double (29 pts, 9 ast). I'm enjoying the game really.

There are only a few days left for the opening match of the tournament. Italy are going to host Turkey. Actually, there is no home-away situtation in this tournament but Italy are so lucky for being able to play in their home stadium. I think that they can take advantage of this opportunity and Turkey can have a tough time beating them. In my opinion, this game will end in a draw.
