Obviously, the smart people would know about it, I have literally said that cancer kills more people but when you look at it you can literally see even the common flu is taking more lives than corona, I never understood why people were so scared of corona to begin with, sure it is a new thing and we would rather not have it but to have 24/7 live news coverage for something that killed only 3000 people so far is idiotic, there are even man made wars that kills each other a lot more frequently than that which could be stopped, so there is all those thousands of stuff that kills people a lot more in numbers than corona but for some reason everyone is scared of corona and financial world gets affected, I will never know.
From what I know so far: - The disease itself is cold-like in structure (hence the corona name)
- The YOUNGEST reported death from the disease is 34
- The disease causes pneumonia in patients and that's what causes the problem, the actual virus doesn't do as much damage as you might expect and the average person will likely just get cold like symptoms
The US media is doing what it always does and making things look like they've appeared from nothing and only since the problem has come to them are they actually worried. China haven't down awfully to stop the spread of the virus (they've done better than Japan with that cruise ship)... Most countries will have a lot of accomodation for things like this anyway to put suspected people in. And they should really already have a plan...

I think anything at or above the minimum relay fee will work. 0.1 sat/B isn't going to work since it won't get relayed at all. You can try to experiment and see how that would work by setting the fee manually.
There was "speculation" surrounding a reduction in minrelayfee in a new release of bitcoin xcore down to 0.1 sat per byte but alas it hasn't happened yet and I'm not sure they're planning to afaict.

Yeah there's also a risk of getting scammed if you go to someone direct in person.
Did you find your ~/.electrum folder?
@HCP it's probably out of scope but there could be a chance a clipbload virus changed the seed or a chance of something else happening (i.e an old version of the wallet with some vulnerabilities or something)... A few words on the seed phrases might look similar if something like this is hurridly done, I've copied down a wrong word in the past...

So: Writing long posts + posting mostly in the "popular" parts of the forum = most helpful ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I think half of that list don't even leave other sometimes... No hcp or achow101?

What type of electrum install are you running? Is there a chance you've loaded the wrong type of application?
I'm guessing it's windows based on the update messing it up... Try going to: %appdata%\roaming\electrum_data And %appdata%\local\electrum_data
And also check your downloads and documents folders. If you can find a wallets folder then it might be in there, you should be able to recognise it by name.
Edit: if you know where the file is, copy its name and the paths in the startup wizard and let it load from there...

Do you need to debug it? I just compiled the binaries and ran it from there imo...
I'm guessing gdb is going to use an interface between itself and gcc and gcc is known for needing a lot of memory, how much do you have avaliable?

|
|
It's in your debug above, are you used to launching core from the command line?
If not you'll want to hit start+r and type cmd and hit enter... Then find where you open bitcoin core from (start menu or desktop). Right click the icon and click properties. And copy and paste the target value into the command line. Follow it by a space and add -debug=leveldb to the end and hit enter.

To anybody who takes up this service, be very careful.
Just because he's trading using your API keys, doesn't mean he can't drain your balance dry.
By shuffling money through low liquidity trading pairs there's a chance he could empty your account and get away with your money.
This should only be possible for accounts with a huge balance, other than that it probably wont happen.
Hi man , api keys are risky with exchanges like binance , but for bitmex its completly safe. since bitmex got a huge liquidity. its not possible to do it in bitmex. thanks Yeah it's probably worse with leverage. One bad trade with overconfidence or misset stop losses (even something spelt wrong) you're just asking for trouble. And 50% fees is high since from your end there's no risk... You might want to make a telegram channel and get people to use something like cornix.

You do need to be a bit of a bot to not notice the redirects, but still.
Loyce might be in trouble then ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . Also could it not be a tracking attempt or a targeted attack. I don't know how possible it is to inject something on a site before redirecting them and some browsers accidentally get released with bugs quite often... Also, law enforcement and a few other "agencies" may want to use it to generate a watch list...

How do you expect a big bull run and for it to be sustained until 2025? That's unfeasible to start with imo... A big bull run with a blow off top often ends in disaster... I mean if it does happen its helpful for my positions but at the same time what makes you so confident in it happening this way?
And if banks dont have enough high or mid scorers to lend to, what happens then? The money just waits in situ with the central bank forever?

Why are you messing up quotes so much?
That error looks like you're probably trying to convert an corrupted wallet.
If you open the encrypted wallet, afaik it should end in an equals sign "=" as a marking that it's a signature type encryption...
If this wallet really was yours and you have 1btc, why can't you buy say 8 gpus and a computer and start cracking it with that? Although if it is yours, what happened to the password? You could probanly make a list of possible character strings with wildcard characters for what you think your password could've been....

this guy did a video on it recently and I bought back after watching it and doing some of my own analysis (my position wnet up so I readjusted the tight stop i'd set to be above breakeven). We'll have to continue on further this week to see if it improves. I always see more of an uptake on friday in the UK so it might hold the same with us in this scenario too (I mean in my timezone for the s&p).

I came across an interesting detail earlier from someone analysing the records of every recorded case and there seemed to be no recorded deaths below the age of 34.
This is problematic especially for china if thye can't find a fix with technological advancements, but in places like the UK and US I think a lot of people beyond the ages of 34-40 and especially at age 50 or above move up in their companies inot management roles so a lot of those countries wouldn't feel as much of an impact as China will if the virus continues to spread...
There was also some news it had become more contained and the death ratio for people contracting the diesease was 2.47% (as I calculated it) but as more cases in europe and the US arise, that number will probably fall (viruses are hard to treat until experiments are done on them)...

What does - leveldb=debug return? Looks like it's suggesting that at the bottom to pinpoint the error.
You might want to *try* renaming the last chaindtate but I haven't seen it work before but it could be the sticker if that file is corrupted and it just wants to delete it but can't at an io level.

Did they have toilets and were they nice? If not I can understand it.
If a trucker is taking a pee or a dump in a truck you don't want their hands coming straight onto your cafe tables...
On an extra note, things like this add a psychological factor its like the cafes trying to scream "we're clean!".

Those look to just be warnings, it doesn't say it doesn't have them... To run electrum if you've installed from source you'll just need to ./electrum in either the bin or the install folder. Alternatively: this site looks to give a way to make a desktop icon: https://www.addictivetips.com/ubuntu-linux-tips/install-electrum-on-linux/Specifically: touch ~/Desktop/electrum.desktop nano ~/Desktop/electrum.desktop And add this code: [Desktop Entry] Name=Electrum Comment=Lightweight Bitcoin Wallet. GenericName=Bitcoin Wallet. Exec=/usr/local/bin/electrum Icon=/opt/electrum/electrum-icon.png Type=Application And then ctrl+x, crtl+y, <enter>

Try renaming the last blk file in the blocks directory of the data dir for bitcoin core and try again.
What is the default directory for potcoin? Bitcoin and litecoin use different data dirs so it might be a hardware issue if the above doesn't resolve it.
Now it keeps crashing. What does, bitcoin core? Did you run it with reindex?

I'm assuming the "really bump?" message was added on the services section to allow people to not accidentally bump a thread, can we have the same for logouts to avoid doing it accidentally?
It's a tiny issue but I also think it's tiny for bumps too.
It's easy to swipe a touchscreen and accidentally log out.

Something I don't understand. This domain name is redirecting me directly to chipmixer.com. The domain is just 2 months old, either the owner is doing a redirection for SEO, awaiting to then host a clone on it, or idk. Yeah it's directing to the same site, either ChipMixer own this or I don't know what's going on... Seems strange to wait on it, I don't bookmark pages until I get to a loaded site.
