Mavs’ Luka Doncic, Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo lead 1st All-Star voting returns

Dallas Mavericks forward Luka Dončić and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo lead their respective conferences during the first return of the 2020 All-Star voting.

No surprise to me. We all know that Luka Dončić gathered a great number of votes last NBA All-Star voting.

This time, there's no reason now that he won't be part of the upcoming All-Star game. I'm wondering if ever Dončić will be the captain, who will be his set of picks. Last All-Star, LeBron James picks is quite predictable because of some obvious reasons.

Nice to see some unexpected names there like Tacko Fall, Bam Adebayo, Spencer Dinwiddie. I hope one of them will be included.

I hope Luka will be the captain.
Put Lebron with Gianis and create another young All Star team.  Grin That will be fun.

Nice to see some unexpected names there like Tacko Fall, Bam Adebayo, Spencer Dinwiddie. I hope one of them will be included.
Dinwiddie please. That guy will put a good show. That is what All Star is about right? Some show.  Grin

Tomorrow will be a game with Houston against Philadelphia +3.5 @ 2.02. Betting for the 76ers here.

OKC managed to beat Dallas as well, they are seriously going for that playoff spot very heavily, I wasn't really expecting them to make this much noise but kudos to them, Chris Paul is getting older every year and he has been slow for a minute there but dude managed to score 13 of the OKC's last 17 points to bring the win home.

Whoa! I just watched half of the game and went to sleep but I didn't think that they could really win that game.
CP3 is really doing it.
It is like he is proving something to those teams that let him go.  Grin

Look at this balance of stats.

  •                 R    A   PTS
  • Chris Paul  8    7   17
  • S. Adams  11   2   10
  • D.Schroder 7   4   20
  • S. G-A       10  3  19
  • D.Gallinari  3    2  20

Chemistry is real.

That's correct, they have a good Chemistry and thanks to Paul for making OKC a better team again, without Westbrook they are not a shitty team.

Grin Yes they are. The thing is both teams have gotten better.
Mike D'Antoni looks happy although they are ranking in the fourth place.
He did get what he want.
A speedy and offensive oriented team. He loves that kind of tactic.

On the other hand, I didn't expect OKC to be this better with just adding Chris Paul in their roster and Gallinari.
Both are team mates in Clippers and now they got bonded again. I guess that is also a plus for OKC.

100k and 1 million now?

Ain't that too much?
You are buying under $11k and you want it be multiplied by 10 or 100 or 1000?
This is not some pyramid scheme and you wont get there in just a little amount of time.
Yeah, bitcoin might be volatile but I dont think McAfee will not eat his balls. He will!!!
4584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin prices dropped so low a few days ago؟ on: January 02, 2020, 05:29:47 AM
Should we really speculate the price for every $500 of a change in bitcoin price?

We are not in the year 2010 anymore. So I guess that should be normal by now.
7,500 is already a large amount and with thousand of dollars in pump and dump that just means something too.

We are getting more populated in the crypto industry and for me that is still a good thing as we want bitcoin to have dominance in usage.
4585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any trading chat rooms? on: January 02, 2020, 03:29:39 AM
It is a difficult task that you are asking here.

If I have that kind of group, I won't let just anyone who I don't really know to come in.
It would really be just a private group for people who knows everyone in that circle or maybe a recommendation only.

You won't find that kind of group anymore or they wont invite you either unless there is something good you could offer to them.
That is just how it is.
If you are lonely then there are still decent groups in discord.
4586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum Big PUMP.? on: January 02, 2020, 03:15:55 AM
Expectations again.
If I were you I would avoid this kind of emotion as early as you can.

Even bitcoin is having a hard time to be released in a resistance where it is by now.
How much more with altcoins.

Yeah, there might be a fork that will happen but we are still unsure of what kind of impact it could give.
Same goes with every altcoin out there.
It could be a pump or a dump. We just don't know it.

4588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NEVER EVER deal Bitcoins with PAYPAL (F&F too!) on: January 01, 2020, 02:41:28 PM
A good reminder for anyone who is dealing the same thing. Yes, with Paypal.
They won't be liable with those losses and they wont care even if you put a ticket a million times over.

Now, this had been already a thing before and that is why they don't prefer this kind of method anymore.
I mean, what are exchange for nowadays? Ain't it the same and you are dealing with the exchange and not directly with a human being.
4589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 01, 2020, 01:04:03 PM
Still it's a win for the Lakers. Though it's a huge gap on their moneyline, I would still put my money on the Lakers. The young core of the suns cannot easily defeat the Lakers but the only thing thing that's bothering me is -11 and +11 for the suns which gives the upper hand for them.

You sure on betting on the Lakers via ML mate? ATM, it's 1.13 Lakers, meaning you will win only 13% of what you have bet and for you to win a substantial amount, you have to bet substantial amount also which is very risky since the Lakers could be beaten by any teams in the NBA. You should explore the spread, that what makes betting exciting.

If it will result for a win even 13% winning, I would take that. Also I am doubting because of the +11 for the sun's which is too much for the Lakers to win. I am not a total risk taker so if I were to bet for the Lakers, I will only bet an amount I am willing to lose. Anyways, let's see if something will change tomorrow.

And the Suns already won twice before they will play later on against the Lakers.
This is why it is so much doubtful to bet against them.
You should really reconsider it since there is not much profit to happen with betting for the Lakers.
Me? I wont, I would rather take the risk here.

I would rather take the larger profit than bet for winning not much. You could say I am a risk taker.  Grin
4590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a global reserve currency? on: January 01, 2020, 11:16:09 AM
Bitcoin as a global internet currency.
Or any electronics currency. You could still use it offline.  Grin

Fiat should not be taken away and I doubt it will be.
If you are leaving in condominiums or subdivisions then you might not be seeing it.
Trying living in rural places. Everything is about paper money. They don't even have any electrical device besides lights, radio and others for security.

As a global reserve though. I still doubt that will happen.
4591  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T MISS! Proof Bitcoin/Crypto Nowhere Near Bottom! on: January 01, 2020, 08:44:30 AM
So are we really going to risk the waiting period?
What if doesn't happen?
I dont think so.
There are cases in bitcoin where analysts are making the wrong prediction and it happens a lot.
Yeah, I want to buy it cheap but not to the extent where I might risk it too much of the coming uptrend wave.
4592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 01, 2020, 06:30:28 AM
LA Lakers  against the Phoenix Suns later.
LA -11 @-700 Moneyline while Phoenix Suns +11 @+500

Bet at your own risk.   Grin
It will definitely give a lot of boost to the Suns player if they win.
But if not, at least lose at a single digit deficit. +11 is not that bad. There is still garbage time afterwards.  Grin
4593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Much WOW?!?! on: January 01, 2020, 04:17:24 AM
20 percent is really huge.
Well, there are chances also that buyers may come in after the fork.

The staking process had been talked a lot of times in different programs in different countries. So I think they are ready for this.
There might be an inflation that will happen but so is buyers.
I am thinking it will just equal it and will brought the price back to normal.
$100 per Ethereum is still no that bad.
4594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 31, 2019, 11:40:46 AM
I love watching the Denver Nuggets though, they follow the play and a three point shot may be their last option if they cannot penetrate the paint.
You can say I am oldies type of a fan but, old is good right?  Wink

I'm with you on Denver, they should some excitement to us with the way they played.
We should blame the player of the century which is Curry for introducing this, now, even the big mans are already improving their  3 point shooting.

LOL. It is his style so no one is being forced to recreate what he did.
Look at Pops plays, it is still the same even after the Curry era.
I believe some coaches and players are still into that 2 point plays only.
Curry though really made a bunch of effort to make something new and he did it. But not every player could do the same.
It requires a lot of practice and he proved it being the 2 time MVP.
4595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme on: December 31, 2019, 09:05:14 AM
First time I have read this thread and it gave me a really good laugh.  Grin Specially the title.

There is a way to make money out of fiat, of course we should have known that if we took a desk job or day job.
Although, I may say that is not just the reason into why bitcoin is toppling the fiat currencies.

But first let us get real.
How are you buying your necessities? Ain't it still fiat by now. We all want to support bitcoin but let us not be exaggerated here.
Fiat is still one of the main reason into why you are living. It might have given you a job to create money but still you are converting it to your own country currency to say that you made money out of bitcoin.

Learn the Ropes
The first thing you need to do is make sure you learn the ropes, and the way to achieve this is to do your research before you actually get started. There is so much online that you can find out about day trading, and you have to make sure you find out what day trading is, what the pitfalls are, and what you can do to become more of a success when you take part in day trading.

This had been told here like a thousand times.

And so is this.

Never Spend too Much
You have to make sure you are regulating the money you are spending. It is very easy to overspend and make a loss if you aren't careful, and this is why you need to make sure you set yourself a budget before you begin. This is something you need to make sure you get right as soon as possible, and it can help you to get the best possible outcome.

Use the Right Platform
This though might help but I have my own chosen platforms rather than what you are offering.

Good luck though to the new traders that will join the jungle.  Grin

There's little to love in awful, three-point-heavy NBA game of today

Basketball's version of the home run has transformed the game into an unwatchable mess.

http://www.startribune.com/there-s-little-to-love-in-awful-three-point-heavy-nba-game-of-today/566540422/
That's right, this era of basketball has changed a lot. From a jaw dropping highlights reel of basketball to a mere three point shooting show. As a fan of basketball, I would still love to watch those highlight plays like dunks and acrobatic shots than today's three point shooting plays. Though these kind of plays minimize injuries for players, it shouldn't be used all the time.

This is the reason why I love watching defensive team more rather than an offensive one.
Let us take Houston as an example. Actually, the best example.
Harden's three point shots which is like 15 times average per game?  Grin How about the dribbles? 1000 per game?  Grin

I love watching the Denver Nuggets though, they follow the play and a three point shot may be their last option if they cannot penetrate the paint.

4598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin support levels on: December 31, 2019, 04:49:51 AM
It may not go below 6k anymroe. That may have been the last time we will see it.
Lucky are those who have bought some bitcoins at that time. I really hoped I did but I am too busy with things and didn't even looked at the bitcoin price.
As I checked it, sadly it was already back to $7k+.

There is an event getting near which is called the halving and as days pass by we might see more pumps that will happen for people will be buying back.

I like straightforward guys.
It might not helped a lot to others but this is a good post.

And this one is also a good lesson for everyone, specially the new guys here.
Well written too.

Merits should really be given to them.
You got me digging some threads but it is worth it.  Grin Happy Holidays.

For newbies it would be the best thing to do. Plan it first. Don't go jumping into making orders just because your professional friend told you so.
There are no pros in trading, all of us could lose a lot rather than win.

Don't go wasting efforts from the real traders here. They made so many threads just to warn new people from making any rush decisions.
Better for safety first. It is already a risky field why make it riskier?
