Good work DigitalHoldings!
Thanks mate ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I noticed your p2pool fork references the offline blockchainx explorer. Here's the config for the new explorer: BLOCK_EXPLORER_URL_PREFIX='http://chainz.cryptoid.info/glc/block.dws?', ADDRESS_EXPLORER_URL_PREFIX='http://chainz.cryptoid.info/glc/address.dws?', TX_EXPLORER_URL_PREFIX='http://chainz.cryptoid.info/glc/tx.dws?',
Doing some mining on your node as well, thanks for hosting one! Wow... thanks for that! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

On a different note: I have noticed that people are still using and mining the old version ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Please also release standalone qt clients in the future, would much prefer this over an installer.
Well, since the devs don't seem to want to release anything but the installer version here is the standalone: potcoin-0.8.6.4-win32.zip(let me know if this link works)

Anyone have idea about the speed getting share in this pool? He ask me to check his pool. He used to get 5.5 btc per block. But after he get more hash power to reach 100t, payout getting slower and slower. I noticed his share didnt increase, or increase slowly. After he reboot the linux server... nothing change. His pool still be slower than other peoples.. He had about 105T hashrate. Here it's his log file and his pool address. We guess... Is there a bug if someone have 1/4-1/5 hashrate more than global pool? Should he create more pool and avg his hash power? like 25t for each pool? pool address http://1tbtc.meibu.net:9332/static/his log file ( dropbox zip link ) http://1tbtc.meibu.net:9332/static/Local rate: 104TH/s (3.0% DOA) Expected time to share: 1.3 minutes He should get one share every 1.3 min ..but he get one share about 10-40min or more... What is the problem? I would guess because of his hashrate his diff is getting increased above the current p2pool minimum of 1780000 which is where the estimate of 1.3 is coming from. It's not a problem...it's by design. He really does not need a share every 1.3 minutes. His payouts should be the same regardless as the shares he does get are worth more. Edit: I was only addressing this part: "He should get one share every 1.3 min ..but he get one share about 10-40min or more... What is the problem?"

im not defending LA, but you atari02 are pretty lame to come here and throw dirt in them, while u advertise your company , if you are a profesional company, u dont do that kiddie stuff
You are right, I didn't mean to advertise but comment as a member of the community. All references has been removed. no need to remove it. there is War now. we will fight. the time will prove who is greedy, who is lie. Fighting. I follow this thread for the drama...never a let down ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Someone is trying to take a major position/stake in Casinocoin. I don't blame them as it is severely undervalued. Even the slightest news should prop it back up 10 fold from where it's at now.
Maybe we should develop a slot machine that takes Casinocoin?

so now that the fork is over, i had mined a few coins that were clearly on the wrong fork and they were transferred to my wallet.. they will never confirm so its just sitting there "grey" .. anyone know how to remove this bad transaction ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) There is a command line switch you can use to rescan the wallet...or something like that. Forget off the top of my head but try a search. Something like -resync (not sure). It happen to me once on another coin. Edit - found it for you from one of my previous posts: If your on Windows create a shortcut of casinocoin-qt.exe then open up the Properties window of the newly created shortcut. Append a space and -salvagewallet after casinocoin-qt.exe. Click OK on the shortcut property window then double click the shortcut to launch.
Delete the shortcut afterword's as you only need to do it once.
Alternatively you can launch from the command line using: casinocoin-qt.exe -salvagewallet Edit 2: Please backup your wallet.dat before doing this!

Maybe it would also be nice to be able to pop a windowed alert when the client sees that a new version of the executable has become available on the website.
That should already be built in to the client. Should verify that the part of the code that handles this has been changed from LTC so it does not display a message when LTC does a notify. I think it has since I don't remember CSC being one of the wallets that displayed a message when the last important LTC update was alerted through the client. A lot of coins at the time did...it was funny to see which devs dropped the ball there. Also, one thing worth discussing is whether we stay with scrypt or switch to another key stretching algo. Personally, I think that scrypt asics are a good thing. The scrypt asics concentrated mining and ultimately helped increase the value and longer term stability of the bitcoin network for instance. However, there are people out there that would rather continue promoting GPU miners. Any ideas?
Would prefer CSC stay scrypt as I (personally) don't see a good reason to switch. We should be looking for more hashrate not less and scrypt is the best bet for that.

-Lower Total # of coins and halving time -Change GUI in QT -Add Chat into Client -Develop an API system for merchants -CSC - USD estimator in wallet
Don't spend too much time on the GUI or chat...those aren't needed or important at this point. Definitely don't do what worldcoin did to their GUi...it's horrid. I feel the most important item for any coin is a merchant service such as coinbase....hard to do. Concentrate on nailing the coin distribution....making sure it's done correctly as a wrong move can make or break a coin. The fact that it is changing at all is kind of a negative so the benefits better outweigh the loss of credibility that is being created IMO. One excuse to changing the distribution is that the original specs were not done correctly...I can't comment on that since I don't know enough to say if they were or weren't.

It's too bad that I only recently found out about these signature campaigns. Was wondering why people were posting ads in their signature for a while but not enough to find out why. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Just wondering....why do most have a minimum qty of 50 posts for payment? I never track my posts so it's hard to say how may I make but why would they care if you make 1 or 1000? Would think they would have an upper limit instead of a lower one.

Is there a version of the Windows client that is not an installation?
All I could find is potcoin-0.8.6.4-win32-setup.exe which tries to install itself....looking for the version you can just unzip and run.
I agree, where's just a plain zip? Agree. I'm getting install errors from this file on two different systems. Give us a plan zip file. What you are looking for is the stand alone Potcoin-qt application, not a .zip file. As far as I know it doesn't exist, maybe the dev can explain why. I understand that it may be easier for newbies to have an installer but please also provide a version that does not require installation. Preferably before block 280,000 or I will have to stop using the wallet until I can get around to compiling for windows myself.

Does this controller firmware improve performance vs. using current cpuminer on windows or ubuntu?
I wouldn't think so.

Aren't difficulty adjustment and algo two different things? Can't the same attack be done with a different algo if the diff adj is not fixed?

which of these miners work with scrypt n or x11? I've heard that one works with one of them?
None of the miners from LA work with scrypt n or x11.

MEGAMINEROS please address issues at the npool with tokens, unlocking account to edit, timeouts. Cant change my payout address says it sent an email to unlock acct but doesnt. Id rather not have to email myself everytime i want to edit something if my acct gets hacked with a little coins on it my fault not yours. have over 5k CSC stuck ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) Other then that great pool and mine there!! don't usually toot my own horn ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) perhaps try mining on www.hasher.ca ^_^ no accounts, no fuss, no security worries due to minimal wallet balances. Cheers! Yes, NOMP is interesting and I'm watching the development. Waiting for them to implement pool to pool connections but would prefer they make that more like P2Pool (peer to peer instead of upstream). Already have a domain name I plan to use: onepool.net ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)
