461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 07, 2020, 12:15:04 PM
But this election is pretty much over, Biden is currently in the lead in Georgia. He only needs one more state in it's done.

RIP 5 Million.

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. Yes, Biden has more chances to win the election, but it's not settled yet.
I am not an expert or familiar with American politics but seeing that Biden is also in the lead on most of the remaining state with 90%+ expected counted votes on the link you shared I doubt trump has any more chance of winning the presidency.
I've heard last time that Trump will gonna sued biden, am I right? so I think yes, biden will win this year presidency, trump will not be like that if the knew he can win this time, that gambler make 5M on losing side. he should know the current review of Americans first before Making that, maybe he is also a businessman and if trump will be elected again, it is very beneficial to him and his businesses that's why he has a high hopes to trump. Maybe yes he has some inside connections as well but trump will lose to biden now.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safeguarding funds , your funds on exchanges are safe? on: November 06, 2020, 10:19:03 PM
A hardware wallet is definitely great. However, not everyone has the means and the desire to buy it.
In general, you can completely do without a hardware wallet, just hide your private keys in a fairly safe place. For example, into an encrypted container using an encryption program. The main thing is not to forget your password.
Hardware  wallet is the most secured way to hold your tokens, however not all people wants to use or buy it. I really don't know why but for me? I am using exchange wallet sometimes, yes other may say that, "oh! your assets might lost if you store in there!" but for me, why will you lost your assets and funds if you did the right thing like making strong password, using authenticator, not clicking click bait emails and some stuffs. that is all beyond your responsibilities.
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: November 06, 2020, 06:15:55 PM
This quotation is the thing that every trader must needed to learn, "invest only what you you are afford to lose", If the market is unstable, better to study they 1week chart or 1month iif you want and then analyze it, you need to understand everything first before trading, sell it if the candlestick shows that the pump of that coin is over, maybe 3 buttoms down then sell it, if you need money then sell it, that's all depends on you, not in other people. for example during these days bitcoin pumps you hold this coin for so long I think you may start to sell it, maybe 25%? if it shows more pump tomorrow then it's good hold on to it. just trust your instinct as well.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My suggestion for new projects team who want to promote their projects on: November 06, 2020, 04:52:21 PM

3. Go for strong exchanges with no fake volume

These are good! I mean I have seen a project that looks good and promising but their supply is too big, yes they raised a good amount of money , but what makes them into deficit and fail? their exchange, they thought listing in that exchange will help them to raised more, they launch their IEO in their then later they found that exchange is having a fake volume and transaction. Let me give you hint, it is in top 20 exchanges in cmc.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 06, 2020, 03:26:51 PM
I don't know what impact it has exactly, but you do see those elections on all gambling sites that you can bet on. Nice that that is possible nowadays. I just want to know how the probabilities are calculated, after all, there are a lot of factors.

These days almost all the betting and gambling sites allow you to bet on such big events. Most popular ones being stake and freebitco. You have to bet your money on either one to the two candidate and you will either win or lose based upon who win the election. It should have been straight forward win or lose but since the election results are unclear, people will have to wait few more days before they know who is the next president of USA.
If I am one of the citizens of America, I will choose Joe Biden for a new and fresh start in the US government because Trump has a bad reputation already and I think the USA citizens need a new president for a new beginning and platform to look forward because it is indeed proven and tested that their past president (if ever) is not that totally reliable and responsible after a lot issues  about him.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 24 eth instead of 24 usdt....What Will You Do If.......? on: November 06, 2020, 12:02:05 PM
So my question is.. What will you do? Will you return the money?
Well, it's up to you:
1. If you are going to return the money, then congrats. You are not guilty for the rest of your life and not risking your account get banned, although I have never heard an exchange chargebacks the withdrawal money from receivers because of their fault.
2. if you are trying to take it, then yea it's not a good thing and you may feel regret and haunted by this mistake ever. The worst case is they would take law-action against you.
Yes correct. I read someone post in previous pages, 24eth is very huge, I think it is my 2 years salary if I Will work in company, so if I will be accidentally given that huge amount my conscience will not let me sleep at night, I want to work hard for me to earn that amount and also, think  that people working in that exchange will be punished, yes it will be their mistake but have some conscience and mercy it is not your hard earned money.

And will Bitcoin (satoshi dream or goal ) be fully accepted in the world as a means of payment?.
It's been decade since it began. A lot of country already adapt bitcoin, but it is not yet fully recognized in each country. It will take more time before it happen, the good thing is, people are already aware about "cryptocurrencies" it is already in different platforms, top searches and many people are using it. Soon it will be recognize as one of the currency of some countries. It is accepted in some establishments anyway, so I think sooner or later it will be.
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading losses on: November 05, 2020, 03:29:28 PM
There are risks in trading. If the market is analyzed well Trading losses is possible to avoid even a little bit of risk. There are many greedy people who invest all the currencies to get more money without knowing anything about the market in which case they have to learn the trade first in order to get something better because of the higher risk. There is a lot of volatility in the market which always puts a trader at risk. The market sometimes behaves in an unreasonable and unrealistic manner for which all traders must be careful.
There is always risk in everything, we just need to be selective, if we can't avoid it just do everything to minimize the losses by research about the current trend of the coin , reading charts, understand the candlesticks, and look for other speculations as well. It can help us not to lose or minimize it.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: November 05, 2020, 09:50:14 AM
This made me happy as he really have the heart to help the poor, he is a real hero of the Filipino though there are people who criticize him being a politician. The fight if it will be realize will give both fighters a good amount of paycheck, so no one would resist this fight and this is not just an exhibition fight, it's a professional fight that record will be added to player's fight history.
I have heard reports about Manny Pacquiao helping the poor people and so is the reason he is still fighting at his 41 years of age when he would have retired and hopefully Conor McGregor could be a good fight because it is easy pay day for him in his mind and could make multiple millions extra than fighting a tough boxer  Wink.

Hope all the Filipino users are safe as i heard about the disaster.
Yes Manny Pacquiao is helping people and Im very thankful for that because we have him who help . He is not a boxer only because he is also a senador to my country and I would say money is not the reasons also why they did not fight because also he wants gives another enjoyment to my fellowship Filipino people because many here are watching when Manny have a fight because we know his ability when he fight.
A very down to earth person that despite of his success in life and wealth he was never forgotten to help those who are in needs. He worked silently, no camera focused on him every time he helped. In his coming fight with Conor McGregor i'd still pay bet for Manny Pacquiao. Many says that because Many was older than McGregor it will be his disadvantage but i know Manny was a strong fighter. Maybe age gap of them be a disadvantage but who knows, we will find it out once the game is on.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 05, 2020, 06:56:13 AM
Most gamblers got fueled to gamble more if ever they won. It is likely they are doubling their bet in the next bet as they think that they can double their winnings as well. And the other big mistake is that chasing those losses to recover in the next bet.

I a casual gambler as well and that OP has said is the real thing that it happens in gambling. Gambling can't be just a winning, not totally a place we think that it makes us become a millionaire, not a place that we think we can make double, triple our money but this a place for entertainment and possibly we gonna lose more than of winning.

Winning once in sports bet awaken and energised one persons interest about it and that's the reason why sports bettor are being to engaged into it and this is why greedy emotion arises too in my own opinion. And its true that from its first win sports bet they double or triple their bet of course aiming for a high return of investment. And this is what a greedy mindset start to fire back to the bettor that leads him to its failure.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 05, 2020, 02:34:22 AM
That'sa huge bet,

Who would have thought that there is someone who will wager a huge amount like that. Trump is not in a good position, and some says that this election is rigged so maybe that gambler will probably saying his goodbye on the money he just bet for Trump.

Seems that Biden needs only 6 votes to acquired the Presidency, this bet is closely losing oh wow! Maybe a multi Billionaire from Trump club put this up thinking that they can repeat it again.

Though it's not done yet and possibilities of any shit that may take place along the way while the process of counting votes still ongoing.

Quote
Maybe that gambler will probably saying his goodbye on the money he just bet for Trump.

Does he have anything else to say? Roll Eyes Tongue Kidding aside but there are really billionaires who can waste up money that easily.

I am still waiting for the election result and as far as i know Joe Biden and Donald Trump votes were closed with such a 6 votes away from each other. I am thinking what does a British gambler do feel right now that he was watching news announcing election votes tally which Biden were on top, but until the counting of votes didn't finished still the bettor has still a chanced if ever. $5 million was a huge amount of bet and this was also a huge lose of him but if he was a multi millionaire this lose may not affect him much.
472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it seems to getting more difficult now to analyse cryptocurrency prices on: November 05, 2020, 12:41:35 AM
As what I notice, the market still behave as it is but if you are trading for a daily one then I am sure that your view is quite different to mine because I am viewing it as a long term trader.

Price analysis is not that easy to execute especially if you want a hundred percent correct result or even a passing percentage like  80% of your price analysis will hit. Not only if you are already a professional trader where you have enough resource to predict the price correctly.

Analysing cryptocurrency was not easy as it seems and as it is always. It was the mere fact that cryptocurrency was a volatile currency was what every traders should dealt with. Even the professional trader i bet still have some difficulties when it comes on analysing cryptocurrency. Be it fundamental analysis or technical analysis sometime we aren't come up with the right decision but with the help of these tools we can decide what were going to do as traders.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 10 Lottery Winner Losers on: November 04, 2020, 11:27:03 PM
It is very sad to see the majority of these persons ending real bad because of their relatives. There is a lot to learn here and the first lesson I can see here is to put 60% of the money in your bank account and the rest to not be spent of gambling or luxury devices.I feel the most sorry for the guy who had an affair with his sister in law and he was murdered, murder is never justified not matter what were the reasons behind it.
The sudden wealth that come from an instant way were fast to loss too. Be an instant winner of million dollar prizes in a lottery were definitely can be called as jackpot. And yes one of the main problem of the lucky winners were the thought of where they were going to spend these huge money they got and one thing and never get out on the list are the sucking relatives that if you were refused to gave them again what they are wanted they will cursed you. So personally i didn't want to get such those huge instant money, instead i will choose to work hard for it.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose on: November 04, 2020, 09:49:38 PM
We all knew that. We are bound to lose no matter how many wins you do, there will be a season that you will gonna lose. That's life, and that's how it works. If you are really a trader you are used to it, you cannot avoid that but you can sometimes minimise it, in order for you not to lose too much. We should learn how to manage our emotions.
475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: November 04, 2020, 04:21:33 PM
This is a high volatility market? People don't understand what it means, it means the risk is very high, it can break you more than it can make you, it's takes luck and wisdom, consistency and lesson and teachings learned about trading, coupled with discipline the individual uses to take profit.

This crypto currency market is not trade fair or Walmart market.

Trading is very risky, we just trade with risk management. Never give anybody money to trade, if it goes soar wetin u go talk.

Best is to learn the exact process or strategy, and trade for yourself, than give your money to someone to trade for you in a very high volatile market
Yes correct, trade for yourself so that you will not rely on someone else. You know that in trading it is not always winning, most of the time now you will lose in the coin you are investing, market is unstable me myself cannot understand it most of the time, but it will be good if you will learn it, because if you do, you can take a profit instantly without putting in a long term just by day trading.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on Nov 21 on: November 04, 2020, 07:22:51 AM
I think we should also consider the psychological state of Whyte here. Can he get back and not think how devastated that knock out? Elite fighters can get over, like Fury getting up on the last round on the first Fury vs Wilder and then knocking him down in the second fight and showing a masterful performance.

Will Whyte have this mentally? Or will just go there didn't do any adjustments and just starts to throw bombs? If that is the case then we might see a similar ending.

As far as i know Povetkin have been tested positive with Covid 19 though been recovered already but does this is what Whyte were trying to take advantage if their fight were pushed through this coming Nov. 21? Based on the statement of Whyte he was so eager to win this fight, he was so determined to take revenge to Povetkin. I didn't think so that he has been gone with last knock out fight of him from Povetkin.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports icons and Covid19 complications on: November 04, 2020, 04:51:08 AM
Opening sports events during the middle of a crisis is not a good idea at all. The government should make the rules even more strict so as to reduce forcibly the number of infected cases. Right now, Europe is facing the second wave of COVID with thousands of new cases recorded every day. And it seems that each country is exhausted after driving back the first wave.

Football is considered the king of all sports. And because of that reason, EUFA, as well as FIFA, can make some adjustment which can change the mind of the people so that they willing to stay at home as long as the disease still exists. Letting fans attend such any sports event can make the situation even worse

Definitely not a good idea to push through an event sports in the midst of this pandemic they shouldn't have to think of the loses of profit because of the pending, rescheduling or even cancellation of sports they should put on their top priority about the health of the players that was on the risk when this might pushed through. There so much complication when it comes to pushing through a team sports like football, basketball etc.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Nordine Oubaali vs. Nonito Donaire - December 12 on: November 04, 2020, 03:46:40 AM
Nonito Donaire is quite being the next Pacquiao of the Philippines, he also dominated his previous fight with Nordine but who are we to judge already? There's always room for improvement for Nordine to take revenge against Nonito, and this tension is what makes this match exciting.

If I were to place a for this match, I will consider betting for Nonito. Not just a support for the country, but I see his skill way faster and better than Nordine, with the performance he is showing, it's a big sign for another win.

Both were good fighter and will surely did their best during the fight at the ring. Both were physically fit and has a high potential for the game to be amazing game to watch for. But we have our own bet about this game so me either i'll quick choose Nonito Donaire to place my bet. Well im not that quiet lucky bettor but at this point i have this gut feeling that i may win this bet of mine with Nonito.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People support what Good for them but btc?? on: November 04, 2020, 12:24:16 AM

Then why youre here on this Bitcoin forum in the first place if you do saw that nothing is good about with Bitcoin?
This isnt something for just solely on making profits with investment yet this is just a bonus on dealing with it.
Bitcoins main usage is on having that peer to peer transaction without 3rd party involved with less fees compared to
those centralized platforms or services that we had known.Yes, you would surely mention about its flaws which
the entire community can deal with it yet its not been too permanent.

Precisely, what are your agenda why you're here in crypto forum? I don't get it, if you are close minded to know more about bitcoin then you shouldn't have try this if this was out of your curiousity. People who are here are those willing to learn more about crypto, those who are taking up bitcoin so seriously have encountered such those failures, encountered huge lose but then manage to get up and move on.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but... on: November 03, 2020, 04:18:58 PM
As I couldn't complete the question in the title, below it is:

How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but could not get it into the site because either the fee was low based on that time or they credit it after some confirms. Fee has become the talk of crypto nerds and everyone thinks that it is already so high. What will happen when price is high and miners increase fee, mempool is clogged and you have your favorite winning bet available right there on the table but your btc is in your wallet and you want it to reach the gambling site anyhow to bet and win? Give your valuable opinions as they matter.
I think I will ask the support if I can add more , since I cannot afford to lost this chance, in gambling you need to take the risk as well, if your instinct says that you need to bet on that then go for it, because if you will not do it then it will be your regret if your instinct is true, if you lose then charge to experience, gambler needed to manage his emotions as well so that it could not be so hard for him to suffer losses.
