461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: May 13, 2018, 01:25:09 AM
I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.
we have all made such huge mistakes, in the short term we feel bad but as time goes on we get used to situations and gradually forget everything. Its normal, we loose in a day gain in another, once we loose and gain, its normal, just like a game. We just have to try our maximum best to restrain ourselves from such situations in the future.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just lost my entire wallet of 13 BTC. on: May 12, 2018, 11:55:30 PM
I feel your pain, just take heart and never give up in your crypto activities. Just forget about it and move on, once there is life, there is hope. I wish you well.
463  Other / Off-topic / Re: what wallet can you recommend? on: May 12, 2018, 11:18:25 PM
I also came across cipher recently and its been exceptionally good. Its a mobile app and meant for Ether and ERC20 compatible. I think its worth a try.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing in bitcoins today late? on: May 12, 2018, 10:53:01 PM
Its totally not too late to buy bitcoin, per the recent performance of bitcoin one can see that there is a long way and a good one for bitcoin and its activists.Time is still not bad for investing in bitcoin especially now that it is still under $10000. Its high time we appreciated bitcoin rather than doubting its the future.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you forget your bitcoin wallet password? on: May 12, 2018, 04:29:17 PM
Recently many people who bought bitcoin years ago find themselves sitting on an untouchable bounty. Those lucky guys who purchased or mined just a few bitcoins at the start of the age of cryptocurrency nowadays can boast about their savings. However, some of them are now in a painful limbo, because they can't remember the complex security passwords needed to get to their bitcoin wallet. Unlike a bank, bitcoin has no central hotline to call for a reset. This is really a bad thing,it's like forgetting a bank account password, but there's no bank to call to reset it. That money is lost forever. That might be a lot of money at today’s exchange rate.

Actyally, this bad thing happened to me last year, and my friend recommend  this website:http://recovermybtc.com/ to me,she said she has retrieved her bitcoin wallet password through it,and I download this software,it really works after I used it,and you need to pay some service fee to them, but it's not high.Somebody who lost their bitcoin password can make a try, good luck.
This news brings hope to those suffering from the pain of loosing their bitcoin password and thus their bitcoin. If this eventually works for them, there will be happiness in the crypto world. Thanks for sharing but I haven’t lost any password yet. I hope it works for those in need of it
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Automatic platforms for Bounty on: May 12, 2018, 02:14:47 PM
Bountyhive is perfect in terms of tasks to be done, makes hunting easy but doesn’t replicate same when it comes to rewards. Rewards are too small to depend on. Perhaps they have to decrease the number of participants per campaign and if possible limit number of campaigns an individual can join with a particular time frame.

A lot of collaborative efforts must have come together to result in this application you are revealing to us. What risks are users to take in using this app?
468  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I've made 600k in Crypto - When to call it quits on: May 11, 2018, 01:28:57 PM
Hi Guys

I've been in the crypto scene for many years now, first time post here over a dilemma I am facing.

So, I am fortunate enough to make 600k from buying and trading Bitcoin and other crypto assets, and I don't know what to do with the money. Personally I think this is the year I will become a millionaire, as I can only see the marketcap of all coins growing. But friends close to me think I am an idiot for not selling yet, and if it were to collapse to zero, I would never forgive myself. But they don't know the market like I do, and I do believe that it is only the beginning. They say I should sell 95% buy a house, a car and live a nice lifestyle. I am frugal, have always lived within my means and never spent any crypto money as of yet, but I am tempted to start spending some of it now. I am 26 years old, rent an apartment and drive a car worth less than most peoples pushbikes.

My portfolio currently looks like this....

43% Raiblocks
40% Oyster Pearl
5% Enigma
4%Dash
1.5% Bitcoin
and tiny holdings in Waves, Lisk, Stratis, Game.....

I think that both XRB and PRL can double easily this year.

This is not based on greed btw, I want to make enough money so I can buy my siblings houses and see them mortgage free.

What would you do if you were me? When do we call it a day and give up trading?

Many thanks for your help in advance.
Everyone at a particular moment becomes an Oliver Twist, always wanting more so I understand your ambition to even make more. Congrats for getting to that stage, keep doing what you do. Don’t sell everything off now. What if you sell now only to realize you could doubled within the next few days. You can also help in running charity homes if you still don’t know what to do with your money.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptos be so volatile forever? on: May 11, 2018, 01:14:10 PM
Cryptocurrencies will become stable when we stop looking for more profit and rather supported projects. It has become a normal trend for investors to dump when they see a small opportunity to make profit and until we stop this attitude, cryptos we always suffer instability.
470  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Will bitcoin disappear in the future? on: May 10, 2018, 11:11:29 PM
Why would bitcoin disappear when it has so many prospects?  If you talk about modifying it to make it better than it is now, I would agree to such possibility but total disappearance is out of the future possibilities for bitcoin.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: May 10, 2018, 10:50:18 PM
Well ICOs are going to continue to be in the system and function as they used to before the ban. The only thing to affect ICOs is the reduction in number of people in their social media. This may result in loss of potential investment as well as the hype which Facebook offers.
472  Economy / Marketplace / Re: my friend have my user and password and my passport scan on: May 10, 2018, 10:32:15 PM
Why don’t you simply change your login details? I also agree to the fact that your friend can easily ask for a password reset as if she was the real owner of your account since she has your email. She just needs to reset the password to your mail and then use it to reset that of the trading account.
473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Bitcoin is droping: on: May 09, 2018, 11:17:11 PM

Reasons why #Bitcoin is droping:

- Not a single rebrand since 2009
- No "huge news" or "strategic partnerships"
- Not enough airdrops
- Not enough PhD graduates on the team
- Team not doing bounties...
- Logo is not cool
- Satoshi is not being communicative

This was tweeted by person named Crypto Rand, what do you think about his tweet . I think these reasons always exit but Bitcoin is still very expensive, I would like to know your thoughts on this

In my perspective, although those factors may contribute to the drop in bitcoin price, supply and demand are other factors worth consideration. I think price is dropping because many people are selling compared to those willing to buy. This results in supply been more than demand thus the drop.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: May 06, 2018, 11:59:40 PM
I have learned to hold my tokens received as bounty reward. Selling early has affected me emotionally as I always realize that I sell at cheap prices.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prediction ETH up to $15,000 by this year on: May 06, 2018, 11:57:26 PM
It may be that in the year 2018 this eth price reached $ 15,000. It is remarkable if the price of Ethereum reaches that price. This is a great time if you want to invest in Ethereum because the future will definitely increase again the price. Do not wait or become an audience if eth price reaches $ 15,000
Ethereum just like bitcoin has the potential to soar but achieving a price of 15000 dollars will be unprecedented. This app I’ll call for celebration but I don’t think it will happen in 2018, it may happen in 2019 or even 2020. However, I’m am a strong fun of ethereum
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the common challenges for bitcoin user? on: May 06, 2018, 06:47:48 PM
For now, the only challenge besides the battle with government policies is bitcoin’s total dependence on internet. Internet over the years is becoming accessible and affordable but what if there is a problem for a whole day, does it mean no transactions?
477  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BitcoinTalkShow on: May 05, 2018, 04:49:10 PM
I would also love to see people give their testimonies or experience in bitcoin in addition to the live price chat. This may go a long way to change the negative perceptions people have about bitcoin.
478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the worst trading decision you've ever made? on: May 04, 2018, 10:55:48 PM
The worst decision in my trading life was selling my tokens for less than $500 and realize in a week time that those same tokens were worth over $3000. It hurt me so much that I cant not even look at my portfolio again.

480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is HitBtc exchange safe now? on: May 04, 2018, 07:08:13 PM
Hi There,

I never used Hitbtc exchange site. But i need to use it because one of my coins doing good there  Grin But my elder brother told me hitbtc not safe totally , it stucked deposit money /Withdraw. What about now? is it safe now?

Thank You
I have never experienced this kind of issue with HITBTC. It is an exchange I use frequently and it has been good. Having a problem with one transaction process being it a deposit or withdrawal doesn't render the exchange bad.
