My ETH funds were stolen and I am sure I didn't give out or handled carelessly the Mnemonic phrase, JSON file, private key nor the key store. Please I want to know ways by which a cryptocurrency wallet could be hacked.
Well what coins do you hold? , what wallet do you use? I'm pretty sure the only way to hack your coins is to get access into your wallet by using private key. yes, you don't have give out private key or json file to everyone, but your computer already infected virus and wallet already compromised,
Very unfortunate, if you have thousands of dollars on it, its definitely something to get mad. Virus is mostly acquired from porn sites so OP should just avoid jacking off for now so your wallet won't be compromised.  WTH is porn sites? LOL! Yes it can be also the reason because many unsecured sites are in porn sites and because you're too excited you somehow went to a click bait. OP should move on to this even we know it's hard for us to loss our hard earned money. But mocking can't help you either way. Yes it could be, Porn site that let a virus into your computer and also phising site that might make you lost your private key could be the reasons your wallet got hacked. |

Its not really good you know? we do need a competitor to make us better right now yes i would say it cause bitcoin is affecting all the market value. The truth is there is a lot project that are similar to bitcoin but still bitcoin is the king without competition, i hope market will become clear and with good competition, Bitcoin should have a stable value cause bitcoin is more like a universal currency and altcoins is like a stock.

Yes it is good if you don't have a job before joining crypto world but I will like to seek ideas from those that have reasonable jobs and I really want to know if you truly believe in Crypto so as to give away your job and fully dedicate full time to crypto or its not worth leaving everything because I see it as a long journey which I need to learn everyday.

I want to put some money into BTC, just in case, I also wouldn't mind learning to profit off trading them weekly or on a daily basis, I see potential. It looks alot more easier than forex and quicker than stocks.

Well if you got a knowledge and used to do trading i believe it would be okay to do day trading in BITCOIn, its really recommended and if you lucky you would got 5-7% profit in a week. Its little bit different though than market stock and forex but actually its the same cause news really affecting the price. Bitcoin is a little expensive to start investing. I think you need to start with cheaper options and try to start something cheaper.
I dont think its really matter, if you want to day trading bitcoin and ethereum will be best option cause the volume and they do are strong coins that affecting the market price. |

We all know this year is one of the worst year of crypto, market is dead and new investors are in fear to enter, My portfolio is 75% down as compare to January. How long this market will take time to recover?. I am stacked in holding.
Yes my portfolio also down like 60 %. Market will eventually recover but it would not goes smoothly, we will see so many market correction a long the way and also many altcoins going to be dead and all new coins from new ico that not able to enter exchange and make a real product will also be dead. So i think it will takes a lot times. Maybe we will see some development in 2019-2020. |

I see that people support that altcoin suits better for day trading, and not for holding. I just don't get why.
Im not agree and i do think its opposite from it. I think altcoins is for long term investment and bitcoin do really good for day trading cause high in volume and also good in prices. New altcoins for sure not profitable and there will be no demand , so how can you think you can day trading it? sure if you said altcoins is ethereum, cause ethereum already so big and have a good number of volume. |

what do you think is the real value of ETH ?
the only usage is for ICOs and they have been dying or losing their market at the very least as they either get banned or people simply stop trusting them anymore.
as for its supply, it is huge already. we have passed 101 million ether already and there is no max amount to it either. we will see it increase indefinitely.
in my opinion the real value of it is visible on ETC so ETH should also be wort the same or at least near that price which is why $50 was my choice.

This is sad truth that ICO are dying and so many of them are not success. So many dump by ICO makes eth down really bad but dont think it would be as bad as $50 i would think ethereum bottom is $200 and it would not drop futher than this cause ethereum have a great project, that would be usefull and i do think when it drops too much there will be a lot of people buying it and hold it for long term. |

No its really wrong if you said it like that, Bitcoin is the most famous coins so i dont think they are stress cause bitcoin price decreasing, Its really wrong to said that eth is good option than bitcoin cause after all when bitcoin is down eth will going down too. Both are good coins with different way to grow. Ethereum became popular cause in 2017 there so much new coins and new ico that use ethereum for erc20 as their blockchain base. They got so many customers and they do grow so significantly in 2017. Thats why ethereum is so popular. |

I have seen many threads talking about should I sell now or wait till BTC moons. When I see these threads I marvel and move on to check on different topics or threads because I know the person doesn't know what he is talking about. Diving more into cryptocurrencies, when you sell now it means you are a coward and don't even know the kind of cryptocurrency you are dealing with. One thing is that, its really kinda pity to see those topics raised. I have set a goal and until that goal is not, I will never sell BTC and that's me.I want ask that is it because those selling the coin are newbies and are afraid of loosing some small $s or they haven't read much about bitcoin or the cryptocurrencies or they have low knowledge about the blockchain technology?

Well people want to get rich and i do think the best way to get rich is by doing a businesses and doing what we know about economics. I do study economics and i do think it do changes even though its only a bit. I think NEM would be great competitors for ethereum, NEM seems team up with so many project to make blockchain use in real life to become real. Well i do think about it, just dont cash all of it in a one night, i think ill cash out a bit by bit for each day and maybe it will takes 1-2 months, after that i'll divide it into many accounts maybe i will ask my sister to help me to save my money its like a money laundry but after all i think its legal money, i just afraid with goverment to steal what i had been earn for a years. |

To me I think every time is the right and best time to buy BTC so we should go on and buy any amount we want to and stop all those post because when you buy now there will surely be a time to come where it will increase in price for you to enjoy it. We can buy and sell anytime and anytime is the best time. What do you think guys? Any suggestions?
Well as a day traders we would like to maximize our profit by buying at the lowest price and sell and the higher price, I think buying anytime and sell at anytime is doesnt work in day trading, all is about predicting the market and i believe its good to buy right now and it would be great to sell it in december or after the etf things done. |

I would choose cardano rather than ripple, i read so many bad things about ripple, i do think cardano would be more great cause you got more coins, and also i think cardano project is more intresting than ripple. i think tax is okay and profit tax is really good for cryptocurrency. We dont have to be afraid of tax cause its part of our live, with proper tax and proper support from goverment towards cryptocurrency i believe it would make market better and also goverment would support it if they do get profit from it.
