461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 7 on: November 28, 2019, 04:22:53 PM
I was so busy for our upcoming competition for Robotics at school that's why I wasn't able to come up with a crazy idea yesterday, and actually even now I wasn't so sure about a thing so here's a little bit easy for all of you.

What if you have a kid on the house and you're currently making bets online and you accidentally have a phone call or what so ever thing you might do on that time and suddenly the kid mistook it for some fancy game and make bets on his/her own, would you be upset and get angry to the kid? Or would you rather trust a child's play on this scenario?

Due to our late discussion, thread will be open until Saturday.

It depends on you if you'll get angry or not. However, if your child won a jackpot prize, maybe you'll praise him. Then if ever he loses in betting using your money, it's normal to get angry but you can just tell him not to do it again. Always take care of the things that are important to you. Don't let your child reach your valuable things if you don't want them to play with it.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DO YOU feeL THE MARKET WILL CRASH TOO ? on: November 28, 2019, 02:01:47 PM
Huh
I have this impression bitcoin will go very very very low and bringing all alts with him,
ETH to 80$
BTC to 1000 $....
LTC to 10 $...
Its not FUD here, just my point of view , recent news, china, bans, thiefs, predictions, use ?

Cheers Kiss
It is possible to happen but in the current state of the market its more possible that bitcoin will fall to 5000$ than falling to 1000$. Way back a few days or weeks ago the president of China is now supporting bitcoin and blockchain and because of that, I see some pump on the price of bitcoin. Once the price of bitcoin goes down it might bring some altcoin because some of them are paired with bitcoin. If ever bitcoin will fall down at the price of 1000$ it's a doomed for us especially to the holder of bitcoin. But, on this coming 2020 what's your prediction on bitcoin? Do you really think bitcoin will fall down 1000$ or not?
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Way to Make Money with Crypto? on: November 28, 2019, 08:47:55 AM
Nowadays, nothing is easy, especially in crypto industry. Trading is very risky and it is more likely that you will lose money, bounties are not collecting caps and leaving participants with no rewards, airdrops are the waste of time, IEOs are a good idea, but not on every exchange, mining is getting more and more interesting  Grin
The thing that not easy in cryptocurrency industry are trading, investing and mining which required high capital if ever you want to earn high income. Participating in bounties is the easiest way to earn in cryptocurrencies but in this current its hard to find good and decent bounty because not all them are not capable to reach the hard cap either the soft cap. It depends on the IEO project, if they are good you can earn but not you will earn nothing. In mining it totally required huge capital because of the rig and other equipments and it is not advisable to the people who do not have enough money. If want you really want to earn in easiest way I highly recommend to join bounty campaign.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: November 28, 2019, 05:47:39 AM
The safest way is to keep your bitcoins in a cold storage and you keep your own private keys. Besides if you lose them then you cannot blame any of the exchanges but yourself alone.

Personally I have many wallets, online and offline, some I just keep on exchanges. Binance have SAFU now and is doing fine since that hacking incident. But if you have bitcoins that you don't want to touch for a long time then better buy a trezor or a ledger.

All people who have big amount of bitcoin now use cold storage to store all their bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I have a friend who have experience lossing bitcoin and it's because of his ignorance and carelessness. I do not want to experience lossing bitcoin that's why I store it in my ledger wallet. It's more advisable to store your bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in cold and hardware wallet than just let in a exchange which is too risky.
465  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoins- kita o lugi? on: November 28, 2019, 04:05:33 AM

466  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much can bitcoin cost in Future. on: November 27, 2019, 12:07:16 PM
Bitcoin has come a long way in just 10 short years. Despite the bitcoin price struggling to regain its highs this year, the long-term trend is hard to ignore.

It seems to me that sooner or later bitcoin will go to the target price about 20000$, the question is just when. There are a lot of various researches and opinions which try to prove that that price is the actual value of bitcoin. I never used to believe in such high price values but why not? Bitcoin is the most posh cryptocurrency which is vital for many various usings therefore possible crowd will begin buying bitcoin actively as it happened once before. I do not pledge that something similar will happen but I am awaiting.
How you can easily say that bitcoin will gonna go up and hit the price of 20,000$? Even they have been a lot of prediction still its not strong to prove that bitcoin will gonna up. The cost of bitcoin will be determine in the condition of the market because if the market are in good condition and the chart or demand are increasing probably bitcoin will also increase. We have different prediction on the price of bitcoin so for me, the cost will be around 10,000$ to 20,000$ in this coming year 2020.
467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach $100k within 5 years from now on: November 27, 2019, 08:31:05 AM
Why should be 100k if someone predicts 1 million in the end of year 2020 LOL. I do not know it is true or not but we do need a bit of motivation or encouragement so that the circumstances are not flat or without a festive.
some famous people already say with their own prediction,varies from 50k to 1million$  Grin
100,000$ per bitcoin is more realistic than believing that the price of bitcoin will reach 1,000,000$. That's true more expert people say bitcoin will reach 100,000$ up to 1,000,000$ but we all know everyone can have their own prediction on the price. Do you really think that bitcoin will reach 1,000,000$ in the end of 2020? Even there is a good event in this coming year we still not sure about it. 100,000$ per bitcoin on the next five years? So basically in the year 2024 it might happen? Because for me, there are many things that could happen and if ever this thing will come true maybe this time is the chance to buy a lot of bitcoin.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: November 27, 2019, 06:33:01 AM
Why do you gamble?
I do gamble for fun or entertainment only and nothing more. Whenever I have extra time or if I have extra money I play gambling.

Because you are bored?
Because you are looking for entertainment?

Why?
Most of the people play gambling whenever they get bored and most of leisure time are spend in playing gambling. Gambling is a good example of entertainment but sometime it end up on addicting like you play too much and you spend too much money and the result you will lose a lot of money. People plays gambling because they want to earn money in an instant way so that they don't need to put any extra effort to earn money.
469  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sino dito ang naka experience ng last bull run (2017) on: November 27, 2019, 05:02:22 AM
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term hodl ! What a joke on: November 26, 2019, 02:54:45 PM
try to understand first the movement of crypto, I bought a bitcoin price of $ 8400 and now falls $ 7100 I still remain calm because I know that bitcoin and other crypto are new technologies will be developed in the future.
see the history of bitcoin friend once every 3 years the price goes up to 10x more so it remains HOLD !!!
Even you already suffer from big losses because of the drop price it is good that you remain calm and still holding your bitcoin. The movement of cryptocurrency in the market is very unpredictable and even you always monitor still in just a few seconds you can lose or earn big amount of money. I hope you are right about every 3 years the price of bitcoin will go up so we just need to wait until 2020 and watch if bitcoin will gonna go up to 10x. Long term holding is not a joke because once the price goes up to the moon you will totally celebrate and maybe you will say to yourself that you really make a good decision in your life.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 26, 2019, 11:58:01 AM
1.Enjoying- How much money does it go to weekly?
I just voted number 2 in the poll because it is totally enjoying to play gambling especially if you play your favorite gambling games. I'm not that kind of gambler who allocate huge amount of money playing and I usually spend 30$ - 50$ per week in playing gambling.

4.Fun- You play Ofline or online casino?
I usually play in online casino which is more convenient than going to real casino and play different gambling games. It's more fun in playing online casino and it just like playing in real casino because all games are already there.
472  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Investing on cryptocurrency is too hard for others on: November 26, 2019, 09:10:05 AM
473  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: November 26, 2019, 06:32:55 AM
~snip~

Currently I do not see any advantage to do KYC, the idea of this is decentralization and maintain anonymity, the tendency of governments and banks has always been to end anonymity for them to have control.

The only advantage of KYC that I see is for the ICO, IEO projects, which is taken as a protection measure to avoid scams that have fallen so much some investors, however there is the latent risk of using that data for other purposes or worse still sell them .
Have advantage by doing KYC becuase we can withdraw our assets on exchange market with higher amount, without KYC only available withdraw 2 btc in daily with Binance exchange market, for airdrop maybe not advantage because airdrop coin is not worth with higher price, just waste your time and your data account submit on airdrop project.
In all exchange it always required KYC verification if you want to withdraw huge amount of money. Most of the trusted and good exchange always have KYC just like what you have mention which is binance exchange. But, for me maybe having KYC also have disadvantages like once your personal information got leaked in the public. There are many big time people in the field of cryptocurrency and most of them do not want to reveal themself because they want privacy and they do not want to expose their identity. Do not ever do KYC procedure in any website that not trusted because they might use it in any illegal activity.
474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 25, 2019, 05:23:50 PM
I have invested in bitcoin, and i would like to learn about trading bitcoin to hopefully maximize both my current and future investments.

Since i am completely new to the world of crypto i would appreciate it if more knowledgable people have any good resources or tips to share. Both for (hopefully) profiting from trading, and for practical tips on how to reduce fees, maximize security in a practical manner and anything else that is necessary and/or helpful in my quest to accumulate bitcoin.
I think practice is very important beside reading/ watching. You can learn from many tutorial on the Internet but you should start trading with small amount daily so you will get many important skills that you can not learn from otherwhere.
It just like try and try until you get succeed. I have been praticing doing trading since 2018 but im still consider my self as a beginner trader and I always follow some TA here. Watching tutorial video on youtube is a good way to have basic knowledge about trading but after you watch why not try to implement it just like use some trading exchange that has practice trading features so you can do practicing without any lose of money.
475  Economy / Speculation / Re: No need to PANIC! on: November 25, 2019, 04:38:22 PM
I’m a little surprised that people seem to be panicking about the recent Bitcoin price drop to $7000. I guess I’ve watched Bitcoin for so long (since 2012) that the volatility doesn’t phase me.

What we need to remember is that just a few months ago the price was a little over $3000 so it’s doing fine. That spike to $14,000 was way overpriced.

It doesn’t really matter to me if people panic because it gives me an opportunity to buy more Bitcoin at a cheap price.  And I still am very confident that the price will hit $20,000 sometime mid next year and probably quite a bit higher by the end of the year.
It is totally alarming and panicking especially there are a lot of people who hold bitcoin. I know in the last few days or yesterday the price of bitcoin drops to 6900$ and it below to 7000$. In this kind of market once you get panic there will be a tendency that you could lose an opportunity to earn income. I'm not totally confident the price of bitcoin will really go up to 20,000$ and even there will be a new bitcoin halving there still a chance that the price will go down. But, what do you think will gonna happen at the price of bitcoin at the end of this year?

Holders panic today and sell because they don't want to reduce the value of their bitcoin. So they are selling now and are still waiting for the lower price to buy back.

what is happening now is natural, as you said @op and its price will rise again when whales and big time traders start buying at low prices.
Holders are always the first person who get panic in every fall down of the price and because of this the whales have a chance to buy more bitcoin and they can also control or manipulate the market. Do not be a panic seller and just stay calm whenever we experience a sudden drop in the price.
476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Newbie looking for advice on: November 25, 2019, 03:27:12 PM
your option is better to use half for bitcoin and half for spread in the form of altcoin ,I'm sure your decision return to crypto is the right choice and you will definitely already gained experience in 2017
If you are semi-professional trader this kind of trading/investing is applicable to you. Separating the amount of investment in bitcoin and in other cryptocurrency is bright idea and it seems many traders also this strategy. It seems that the OP already have background on how the market works so basically he can now make the right decision if he going to split his investment.

What do you think people? go all in btc or diversify a little on alts?

Thanks in advance
Wherever they invest it is still end up in a good result as long you know where do you invest. Splitting your money is a good idea but still, sticking in investing in bitcoin is best way to earn huge profit.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 25, 2019, 02:30:38 PM
~~~
If you want to maintain privacy, cryptocurrency is the right choice.
Crypto is anonymous, allowing users to maintain their privacy as gamblers. The use of cryptocurrency as a currency that can be used to bet will not make gamblers think about prices. But IMO, they only think about how to collect as much cryptocurrency as possible through betting.
It seems most of the bigtime gambler is now prefer to use the cryptocurrency when playing because of its anonymity. If ever you want to experience a good gambling game its better to use fiat currency and go to the casino and play different games. I know in online gambling it is also accept fiat currency but sometime it takes a lot of time to deposit unlike in cryptocurrency that just take few minutes. For me, I will rather use cryptocurrency in playing gambling than using fiat because I want to secure my personal information.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: November 24, 2019, 10:36:33 AM
From joining signature campaign bounty I use for investing with bitcoin and altcoin, always wait for investing after receive reward from bounty campaign and I use to invest with crypto, many time I earn profit and faced with lost investing because price of altcoin have down. I think is not really sad because I get salary for investing with bitcoin and altcoin after joining signature campaign bounty.
I have two sources of investment money and the first is through the bounty campaign. We have the same way on doing investment which we use the money that we have to earn in the bounty campaign. The second source of my investment money is from my allowance. I always save 30% of my allowance then I will use it to make an investment in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Using the money that you have earn in the bounty campaign is a very bright idea to make more income. I still do invest in cryptocurrency even it is risky and I always make sure that I earn income from my investment.
Ikaw? Katulad mo rin ba ako na naghahanap o naghihikayat sa iba about kay BITCOIN?
Ako? hindi na, hindi nako nag hahanap ng matuturuan.
Wala na din kasi ako nakakasalamuhang ibang tao dahil sa bahay lang ako nagwowork. Isa pa, iniiwasan ko na ishare pa kasi nga risky. Ayaw kong mag jump in at malugi or mascam o ano pa man sila, lalo na if mga kakilala ko talaga. Kung may masasabihan man ako ay ang huli kong words sa kanila - "ikaw ang may hawak sa desisyon mo, wag kalimutan na risky ang crypto at huli, labas ako sa magiging resulta".
Kung ako ang tatanungin lahat ng mga kabayan natin napansin ko ay sinubukan talaga nilang manghikayat ng mga taong gusto matuto ng ganito pero alam nama natin na hindi ito madaling gawin. Nasa kanila talaga ang desisyong kung gusto man nila ito pasukin pero dapat wag tayo sumuko sa pang hikayat dahil alam naman natin na maganda ang kakalabasan nito sa future at makakatulong ka na din sa kanila. Laganap na talaga ang mga scam ngayon kaya kung mahihikayat tayo mas mabuti na ipaliwanag natin ito ng maayus at klaruhin na hindi ito scam gaya ng mga napapanood nila.
