While Reggie may be working like a horse selling millions of VERI to institutions/governments/etc, he certainly won't be happy selling them for USD 60+ instead of USD 100+.
So even though it is affected by "amateurs", the price tanking is still very much a relevant thing to Reggie (I believe).
Well you believe wrong, the price does not matter one bit at this moment, not for Reggie and not for me as an investor. I'm actually VERI happy with the tanking, I hope it stays this way so I can keep stacking. It's a double-edged sword. While Reggie does have an interest in the price, it probably doesn't matter too much to him if he makes large sales now while it is cheap. I agree it is time to pick up more, I have all I think I will ever need though. I can't lie though, if it could multiple a little bit though I would like to cash out some to fund some plans of mine  I am not telling you what to do. But in my experience cashing out of a rising star is the biggest mistake people can make in investing. It's actually the sinking boats that have to be abandoned ASAP or when the water is at your knees. In my opinion VERI has a lot of potential, real world potential, not just mumbo jumbo shiny website but no project that most ICO tokens put out. It has a lot of energy behind it, so in my opinion it will be successful. Now why on earth would somebody want to abandon something that can potentially be very successful? Abandon a high probability positive thing to a low probability (uncertain) positive thing? I think that's foolish. You're spot on. Volatility is part of the crypto game. You can't make money if you emotionally react to volatility. |

That definitely will happen. If a company as large as Amazon wants to stay in business, they need to adapt depending on what the customer wants and that is including bitcoin as another form of payment. The demands of the customers will force every large companies to follow.
I don't think Amazon is at any risk of going out of business if they choose not to accept bitcoin. At least not at any point in the near future. |

I think regulations in place to help avoid scams would be a good thing to, but beyond that I'd like to see an industry association start pushing for certain standards.

Talk through the pros and cons of a coin to see if it passes the smell test for both of you. It's best if you deal with people who have a diverse background where you're each knowledgeable in different areas.

There are people that keep saying PayPie's risk scoring is for real world use, while Populous' risk scoring is only for internal use.
For that matter, I want to suggest these people to do sufficient research on the Altman Z-score to find out more.
In my opinion, there is no validation that PayPie has the most accurate risk scoring algorithm just as I can say I am the most handsome and most beautiful man on earth.
And Altman Z-score is not limited to internal use.
Both you and I can actually pick any company with available financial statements and do a risk scoring with Altman Z-score right now, free of charge, with pretty high accuracy.
The purpose of the XBRL token that the Populous team will be releasing is to make their credit risk algorithm available to 3rd parties, so it's not just for internal use. |

I have a few hundred PPT and am wondering at this price should I collect anymore or is it over priced at the moment? I was thinking to wait for another dip or is this the last dip we shall see before Beta release? There is much promise in PPT and once it is fully functional I think many big whales and investors will come in to purchase big bags of PPT TOKENS BECAUSE OF THE ROI ELEMENT TO IT in the near future that is coming.
It's near it's low since it's been trading on EtherDelta, so I wouldn't count on it going any lower. Even though people who bought in during the pre-ICO got in much lower, I think it's a pretty good basis right now. |

PayPie have similar product, and also known Anthony Di lorio (co-founder of Ethereum with Vitalik Buterin) joined now to this team. So PayPie have a very huge potencial. The problem I have with PayPie is that it seems to rely heavily on using their accounting software as a lead generation tool for SME's. That's a tough market to penetrate, so I think it'll be tougher than most people think. Accounting software is a pretty sticky service for most businesses, so you've got to create a very compelling reason for people to make a switch. |

The problem with trading is that it's much harder than it looks, so it's very appealing to new investors. I've found that I'm much better suited for a buy and hold strategy, although I'll sometimes trade in and out of a coin if it's something I'm willing to hold long term. This way, I don't feel too stressed if the price drops and I'm not able to sell it.

Trading volume has evaporated. It'll be like this until the beta unless current holders decide to buy up the remaining market. Maybe we should just all do that. Buy it all up.
I picked up all I could under 0.008 yesterday, but I wish I had more funds available to buy more. It's tough when you have to sell other tokens to free up funds. |
