Also the proof of burn - trusted backed model will definitely add to the value of the coin. As I see it... in a world filled with ipo scams, trust is a rare commodity.
Sure, so obvious that I skipped it.
Creating a good probability that most will never sell for less than 1 BTC per 1000 XCP.
(And if you guys wanna make money like I do, avoid selling cheaper than 1 BTC per 100 XCP unless you really need moving funds.)

With the above figures given thats either miscalculated or short sightedness..

XCP being highly rare (after crowd-funding) Expect XCP To be 1 BTC= 10 XCP (soon)

XCP may have the opportunity to set the standards for decentralized, Peer2peer, trustless technology

giving the current state of things...

With the Belief that at some point there will be a XCP Foundation
to watch over the day-to-day operation of this project

there is a great amount potential in this project that seems so promising.

to Investors/Dev/XCP Community may 2014 be a prosperous year for you

So if I want to burn more than 1 BTC, it is ok to use the same wallet, just as long as I am making a new adderess for each BTC, correct?

I could be wrong normally & usually I am

what was understood was that you could

Burn NO more than 1BTC (0.99990000) per address.

the other part that needs answering is the Importance
of why it's not wise to burning More than 1BTC??

You can burn up to 1 BTC (that is, send 1.0001 BTC to your burn wallet to get 1 BTC + 0.0001 miner's fee)
Burning more than 1 BTC from the same address will not give you more XCP than burning just 1 BTC.

2nd burn MUST Be from a new wallet, new address only
1 BTC per address

Hold on, PhantomPhreak can you please clarify this?  Do we need to make a new wallet for every burn, or can we simply make a new address within the same wallet?

Those instructions to create a new wallet were for using Bitcoind/Bitcoin-QT. Using counterpartyd or Blockchain.info, you only need a new address.

if that's true then it makes perfect sense now.

Using Counterpartyd & Blockchain.org
(requires Only new address)

Using Bitcoind/bitcoin QT
(required New wallet, New Address)

if I understood correctly the Proof-of-Burn (POB) concept
is sending BTC to a unspendable address which NOone owns
the private keys to??

XCP will likely be extremely rare..

XCP could potentially be valued at 0.11 BTC or alot more

Is it possible 10 XCP may be worth 1.1 BTC

I could be wrong normally & usually i am.

I've contacted a few individuals closely contected to this innovative project & no response
from anyone..

who or where can I buy from?

I'm aware of the amount of risked involved & the chances of me lossing my btc
through the Proof-of-Burn process.

I would like to express my interest by investing in this promising project

is there a 3rd party issuing or offering XCP for sale?

PM me

best regards

Wow that looks like one hastily put up website be careful.

An exchange just picked up COYE:

0daycoins.com

Has anyone signed Up

Where is The FAQs, Contact us, about us, Fees,
no nothing but register & sign up..

Something aint right about this.

Or am I missing something.

I signed up and transferred some coye successfully there. But of course I might lose it,
but the risk is the same with doing trades here with strangers. Time and experience will tell...

I guess most people prefer taking the risk of losing coye instead of btc, so price
will go down with no buy support...

can someone vouch for 0daycoin.com is it fully legit?

did you or knew someone who had a successful trades?

why hasn't the operator announced the exchange
knowing this could mean a huge potential for him/her
on the trading fees & minimal transfer fees..

can anyone back a claim or has had a transfer using this site?

Selling 3.68M

1 BTC per million

Oh man if that's the case I'm loaded

with the amount of attention Coinye has received
before & after the launch Holders of coinye's
could possibly see a increase in the value
due to media support.

as its near the time for the
new coinye exchange.. this could get interesting.

there is quite of bit of buzz about Coinye in the press.

469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Coinyeeeee Buy/Sell Thread on: January 10, 2014, 11:28:07 PM

http://coinye-exchange.com/

Thanks to all the media attention thats been generated

with the right amount of exspoure & awareness this brings

Its likely the currency could continue surging  in value.

Few threads back someone posted 10,000 coinye for 0.50 btc
In the next few weeks.. Yeah right

I dont know where they came up with those figures...

Depends … If COYE is not getting on to any of the major crypto exchanges soon (Cryptsy, Coinex, bter), this thing will be MOON 2.0.  The media attention will not last forever and if the people cannot get their LTC/BTC changed into COYE, nobody will accept it for services or goods.  If the momentum is gone and it's not listed, this currency is dead.  That said … I still believe … Smiley

The other day i recieved an email from bter.com & when i inquired about coinye being traded on their platform
& they said "

Dear sir, keep lookin at our Annoucement for the latest infomation.

Read between the lines..

For one bter.com never denied the fact nor say they wouldnt trade ;Coinye

But they also didnt say they would either.

Interesting.
