looking at score, and it is not a point for me, but I am no down either
TBH, draw was considered as main option for me, Brasil second, and Argentina to win was third option, IMO unlikely, but happened

Btw, what happened with Joelinton? I see he got a direct red card for violent behavior.

nothing much, I think that it was too harsh to give red on that, just mutual pushing
or at most yellow to both players

well, continuing this round on equal level with opponent, five more different answers to go

Can't wait to see the answers of my opponent. I noticed 10 people in division 1 sent early picks, guess almost everyone had the same idea Wink

thanks man for this post, didn't know that one can check submissions for new round, even the answers can't be seen
first time that I actually look before the deadline, because I also have submitted early

it is a luck based round IMO, nothing much to set edge on, lot of questions with 3/4 options, where at least two are spot on, and small difference
kudos to Cro2 on hard work, it is really looking good

Moving 9 positions up it's nice, innit? Especially in a pool of just 29 participants. Two more such leaps and I'm in the top! Smiley

yeah, it is really a close pool, looking at some other pools
small differences and good round can push you up a lot

Bayern is opening a round on friday, but most should be expected from Frankfurt and Stuttgart on Saturday
Leverkusen will have tough fixture in Bremen, real test for their title ambitions

One final race. I feel like only a miracle will prevent our current leader from winning this pool!

agree, but it is well deserved after all
changed my picks after qualifications, to remove Norris from podium, but in the end, had two picks on podium, as prior to changes
just those were Max and Perez, and now Max and Leclerc

but closing out a season where I have spent most time on position 15, and will finish around there as well
will try better next season, and try to visit one race as well, seems as a good plan

OK, I submitted my answers early because I will be pretty busy these two days.

what does miracle in Azerbeijan has with Wales qualifying?
joking aside, Cro2, Q1 is probably worded with Azerbeijan instead of Armenia? you should know who you play with Smiley

it is a good round, most oriented to football, but there are two question to make it for F1 and tennis

Seriously,,, I do not know to say my luck. Low scores but getting 3 wins so far, this is not skill for me just amazing luck,,, but we should see third league everyone is pumping and undefeated also in second league. Good luck everyone, battle for top 3 is on the way.

we are up next, good luck and may the luckiest win

Montenegro would have qualified if Serbia had lost to Bulgaria and Montenegro had beaten the Hungarians, but in case of a draw between Serbia and Bulgaria Montenegro had no chance because of the worse ratio with the Serbs in head-to-head meetings, but the fact that Serbia gave Montenegro a chance at all should alarm Serbia, because the strongest teams, who rarely forgive mistakes, will go on to the next round

agree, Montenegro needed Serbia to lose to qualify, but they also need to win against Hungary
obviously neither happened, but Serbia performance against Bulgaria is really lousy, and can't be explained even with different stadium where the game was played, Bulgaria was way better in second half

Lukaku scoring 4 goals was indeed something special, Belgium already qualified and fast goal opened Azerbeijan, allowing home team to score a lot

three fights for spots today:
Ukraine vs Italy
Czech vs Moldova
Slovenia vs Kazakhstan
basically, who win gets the spot, and draw would suit home teams (Czech and Slovenia) and Italy

I guess no more tennis questions in upcoming 1.5 month until new season will begin.

that would maybe open more space for basketball and Euroleague, tennis became boring as there is no player that can outplay Djokovic

CLS63, last minute saver by Lukaku for me, and we got a draw, being behind for most time, I am probably more satisfied with final outcome

didn't checked questions for next week, but as I can read here, there is no point in waiting for tomorrow

and also, congrats to Australia, Steve and sportsbet, you made it guys, didn't expected to see this score
P.S. didn't ever follow cricket before, but now I do follow some results due to Cro2, not sure is this good or bad, but remind me on going to finishing, low intensity activity lasting almost a day

Djoko will win, trust me. Sinner knows Smiley
~snip

agree here
Sinner knows that he can't let any minute of lower performance, because Djokovic will fight till last breath
and Sinner will probably give up if everything is not as he likes

it looks small, but it is a big difference, and probably a decider here, Sinner is an excellent player, but needs a lot of experience to fight of bad moments
but it should be more interesting than last night match

The second semi final between Alcaraz and Djokovic should be interesting to watch. Haven’t followed tennis in a bit so will not place any bets on it, but Djokovic to win @1.7 is a nice value. He might be tired, but he is still the best right now.

agree here, didn't watch a lot, but I find it hard to believe that Djokovic is going to lose tonight
IMO, Sinner made a mistake with a win over Rune, that let Djokovic to went through, he would have easier schedule with Rune passing through

nevertheless, probably a three setter tonight between Alcaraz and Djokovic should be expected, and a fun night that will close with a Djokovic point

I'm really interested to see what happens with City now - and what will happen with Chelsea down the line.
City has been charged with 115 breaches earlier this season.

they knew how to word it, and it does not effect City or Chelsea case
basically, Everton is punished for overspending 19,7 milion on new Stadium facility, not on players

since City and Chelsea only bought players, their cases are now different  Wink

Does cricket not go back and forth with whose turn it is? It is one team first and then the other? Or why was Australia such an overwhelming favorite when to someone who has no idea about the sport this looks like South Africa is way ahead?

teams chose in the beginning are they want to bat (other team throws, similar to baseball), on a coin toss, usually team that win coin toss, chose to bat
and South Africa was first to bat, and collect points, there is 50 rounds, and 6 throws in every round
first 8 rounds were as miserable as possible for South Africa (getting 10 points, which is 1,25 points per round), and it was known that they will lose at that point
afterwards they improved and reached 212 points (which is also low, 4,2 points per round), but they didn't had enough players to bat 50 rounds (you can see that they finished at 48.5, so 12 throws less than maximum)

Australia had easy target to reach 212, and they made it
from your pictures, on 130 Australia has 6,19 points per round (way more than 4,2 points that South Africa finished with) - 130/21 - so absolute favorites, and on second picture they have 5,35 points per round (not that much more, but it is close to end, and they needed 32 points from 17 rounds remaining (less than 2 points per round, which is as easy as it gets))
and they finished with 47.2 rounds, so didn't even need all 50 to win
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 17, 2023, 09:32:44 PM
it is official, 10 point deduction and back to relegation zone for Everton
at least not on bottom, due to good form in last few rounds

does seem that punishment for Everton is far away from City ruling, but it is what it is, EPL want Everton in Championship, it is on the team to get enough points to stay

Italy needs to be in the Euro as they give a certain glamour to these events as even when they are not in the best of their shape they can manage to even win the event.

they missed last WC, so it would not be a complete surprise to see them fail to qualify for Euro
but I don't think that it is going to happen, they will qualify certainly

and there are additional qualifications for loser from this duel between Italy and Ukraine, so maybe we will see both teams on Euro, since both are seen for additional qualifications if they lose this round, due to Italy being first in their Nations league group, and Ukraine being second behind Scotland, that already qualified through group stage

Also, Australian pacers are in top form (especially Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc), and we saw this during the semi-final match between Australia and South Africa.

not sure, but my bet is on India to win it, and odds look good at the moment, taking into consideration that they are hosts, and unbeaten so far
agree that they know how to lose matches in knock-out phase, when considered as favorites, but one could see against New Zealand that they are serious now, scoring 397 is all but easy feat

it was almost a drama in Australia vs South Africa match, and South Africa set bar for Australia as low as possible, both teams seems to be easy to overcome for India

I find myself bored during international break, have absolutely no patience to watch that kind of football, good thing we have a nice tennis and snooker tournaments going on.

it was interesting before, but now with most countries qualifying due to increased number of participants on Final tournament, it does not making sense to watch anymore
looking at South America qualifications, group has 10 teams, where 6 go directly and 7th is going to another qualifications
it is more interesting to see who will end-up not-qualifying then who will go to WC 2026, Venezuela is doing better than expected for now, so Paraquay will be maybe that team that can qualify even if all teams are going through
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CONMEBOL 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification (South America) on: November 17, 2023, 04:07:43 PM
Yep crazy results, I wonder how many gamblers in this world are lost on Brazil and Argentina last night.
~snip

I am skipping betting on this qualifications, because there is really a lot positions that qualify from this group
and one can expect many surprises, because even with four/five loses Argentina and Brasil will surely qualify

so either you chase surprises, or it is better to skip betting on ML here, maybe putting goals could be an opportunity, but not sure about it
all in all, Colombia and Uruguay will qualify side-by-side with Argentina and Brasil, and there is more spots available
