Lol you have no idea how many bets I really won with these freebet tickets. I literally wasted them on some parlays with ridiculously high odds. Perhaps it's the time to switch into betting on fair odds Regarding that cricket final, well, that's really a fcked up result. I was about to do the same but I thought 1.4x is a small odds, so I bet on other sport. Though congrats Australia, they beat the strongest cricket team!

So, what will it be like? Shouldn't the dive 2 teams that can't pay be demoted to Div 3 and the Div 3 teams that can pay be promoted to Div 2? To me, this is ideal.

We need to make Divisions 1 and 2 more appealing. If sign-up costs cannot cover 30% of the prize pool by season 4, we are not progressing.

Nope, it will always be based on performance. We started this as a place for the community to have fun and discuss sports, money incentives are secondary.
All that being said, of course that we're always looking for ways to make it bigger, more competitive, more rewarding.

We will keep the format in which most people play for something until the end, we feel it brings a lot more engagement.

I do like 2 ideas that are being discussed though - an entry fee (small, ofc) for Division 2 and a 'penalty fee' for D1 and D2 that is returned to the players at the end of the seasons if they submit all rounds on time.

We're still early in S03, a lot of time to analyze properly. Keep the ideas coming

it is a luck based round IMO, nothing much to set edge on, lot of questions with 3/4 options, where at least two are spot on, and small difference

One thing related to that is prepared for maybe see a theft in that game... for no reason that game is gonna be played without the VAR system, and the main question is WHY?, well Boca is already out of Copa Libertadores, and the alst chance they ahve to qualify into the next one is via argentine cup winning it.... So all the football is looking into that game to see what happen, we are having a few very shameful episode with referees in the last games for promotion to first division.

Better now than couple of weeks later. Really disappointed with all those people, it shouldn't be that hard to let us know you are not interested in playing and we could have had one Div 3 with engaged players instead of 2.

Div 3B will be very strange this season. Lot's of games will be 3:0 by default and participants will loose a lot of BSFL experience this season. On the other hand they have a very easy shot at promotion to Div 2 next season which should compensate at least a bit.

I actually noticed prior from the rounds before that you always submitted your answers on last minute and not gonna lie, I was actually hoping that you overslept or something then you would miss the deadline but oh well

I almost naturally lean towards fee for competitive events but BSFL does have a casual element that I feel is best expressed as Div3 participation. I can't say what the effect would be to impose a (refundable) deposit but if my experience on this forum counts, I suspect a small detrimental effect.

I'm not opposed to Div2 fee.

I just got home from a business trip and I checked the table. If I counted right, me and jeremypwr have only two same answers so it should be an interesting round. I hope this time I get more than 3-4 correct answers because I know that jeremypwr often gets a lot of correct answers.

As for the D2 fee, I'm all for it. I think that it brings seriousness to the competition and almost all places in the end pays for the entry fee.

Agree about tennis. After Federrer and Nadal got retired (yeah, I know that Nadal he still didn't retired officially), Djokovic don't face much competition. Lol, I wouldn't risk to play with fire in such way Because shit happens sometimes, like internet connection can disappear or something similar may happen. So, better safe than sorry .

It's sad to see that some users failed to submit answers on time again and got disqualified. C'mon guys, if you're not interested, there is people who would like to join into your place.
I also think that there should be some fee for Div. 2, not sure how much exactly would be right fee. While Div. 3 should remain free.

I'm watching Croatia - Armenia but judging by the SofaScore graphics it looks like Turkey really changed something in the second half and started laying better. I guess this equalizer goal is the result of that and it makes me happy

I didn't realize I submitted late and already really feeling ashamed for that. I also feel bad for my irresponsibility but rules are rules, and I will be eliminated after receiving the third penalty today.
The league and competition between users are unique beside the upcoming events in football sooner, and I regret messing it up like this. I truly hope someone else takes my place and uses it well.

@slackovic it is looking good for us and guys I am not joking around, I just wanted to place a small bet because I didn't have much lying around and in the moment I placed the bet the goal was scored by Wales and the market went offline! I thought what the hell is going on!

We played much better in the second half and managed to finish the group as the leader by getting a draw. I'm very happy for being able to join Euro 2024. I must admit that the referee also helped us tonight. Anyway I have got ahead of Darxioami as Turkey didn't lose. But everything can change very quickly as there are still 6 more questions ahead of us. I hope that Brazil manage to defeat Argentina tonight.

That such a shame, I think it might be down to how stressful and long it would take to climb up the ladder but then everything worth doing is worth doing well, at least everyone new what they signed up for when they registered and they were well aware of the division they'd be playing in, so I really get it that we all have a huge and more demanding life outside this forum, but in as much as we spend every other couple of hours on here every week, that's more or less what it takes to fill the questions, but it could be understandable if they feel like the competitiveness download the ladder in division 3 isn't fun enough for them and it'll take quite a while to get as further as division 1-2, I think a better solution might be just two have to division and with something at stake for everybody, it wouldn't kill to have a 20-25 teams in division 1 and 25-30 for division 2, we can just increase the number of promoted and/or relegated teams, so a league of 2 divisions and more teams per division will surely increase competitiveness and some missing out on a week and getting 3-0 victory would not be as advantageous as it currently does. That's just my rant and 2 cent all in one piece!
