I just want to add tht of the exo coin dev is a scammer hes a daft one. Because so much more funds could be generated by following through with the creation of exocoin than just scamming 50btc from investors. Think about it

Well this depends, if this is a scam and if he is just an ordinary Joe in crypto world which Exokk (maybe Exo_coin and Exokk are the same person and this is a one man show) first 50 posts suggest that he is than this is his max and 60+ BTC is a lottery winnings for a man like this. To continue scamming after these 60+ BTC you need to understand crypto world much better.

This until now could have done anybody with at least 2 months experience in Crypto, just reading threads on this website for example and with a good scamming plan which this would be if it is a scam and of course with lot of luck (Anon's interest). Beyond this it would be impossible to go for average Joe.

I am still waiting to see if I will invest, lets see what happens in the next 8 hours.
For now it's just dead silence.

Ye dont wanna jump to conclusions here but it is very quiet on the devs part here. Please respond and answer ppls questions. The only other reason is maybe they are busy writing the whitepaper? But im sure a quick update and message from the devs would be nice

Well Exo_coin was last active today so I am sure he saw all of the questions.

SWARM NEEDED

Here is the reddit post, please everyone sign up at Bittrex.

Hello NXT community,

I solicited feedback on another thread about which coins we should support on our exchange before our public launch. NXT was overwhelmingly recommended.

Before we make the final decision, we're providing a special invite code for NXT users to experience our site first hand. Go to https://bittrex.com/Account/Register and use SUPPORT_NXT as the invite code. This gets you past the invite code queue. Place some trades, enabled 2FA, or try any of our other features to help us stress the site before the final launch. If you find a bug, we're handing out bug bounties as well. Having a great exchange helps us but also helps the NXT community.

If we get 100 signs ups using that code and active on our site, we'll add NXT before our public launch.

Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback, Bill

Signed up

Everyone remember to add SUPPORT_NXT as the invite code so we get NXT added Smiley

Signed up and sealed, looks like a good exchange, so git yr asses over there......

I just managed to sign up as well. They had some email verification problems couple of hours ago, but now everything seems to be working fine.
So people get over there and lets get NXT to another exchange! Smiley

But you don't, Dev said funds have to be released before white paper is released, so you risk losing everything.

From what i understood, Annon is going to give the bitcoin to the dev once he started distributing the eXocoins to investors

My understanding is that mr exo_coin has agreed to use me as escrow as well. So i believe what will happen is that he will transfer the exo to me in batches and then i will in turn release the equivalent amount of bitcoins to him. This process will continue until all of the exo and all of the btc have been transferred.

Hey guys,
So do we even know under what terms will you release the BTC?

I am just trying to recapitulate in short what's going on here so bear with me. I am in no way trying to bash this IPO, I am actually still thinking about investing since there is more than 12 hours left. I am just trying to be objective and realistic.

So we have 2 guys that started a new coin and they claim this will change a crypto scene. Pretty bold statements but so far so good. They claim there is a third guy as well with a new profile but OK he never showed up in this thread. Exo coin is a new member/new profile. He seems to lead the dance. Exokk is a second Dev who made his profile in the mid December just about the time I made my profile, so complete newbie. By looking the history of his posts yoou can see that he is a complete newbie since it is clear that he doesn't know a thing about crypto currencies. He had a wallet for every single bullshit coin and was leaving his addresses in giveaways for free coins. He was also into mining. OK, now I start not to like this, is it possible that one such guy will write or be a part of writing new code for coin that will be best in the world? Just to remind you the 3rd DEV never showed up.

Thanks all!

Looks like you are are correct about Exokk history. This is disturbing. The only reason this threads picked up is because Anon posted about it on main Nxt thread

If it turns out to be scam, ....

I am not saying all of this is true and this is a scam. For the sake of all crypto community and taken into consideration all the problems with Mt. Gox and Bitcoin I hope it is legit, because all of cryptos are in crisis at the moment. But these are just some red lights flashing. I mean there are too many scams and greed trying to get our money out there and not too many new Satoshi's or BCNext's that are making amazing new coin everyday. And these guys are claiming this exactly.

Thanks for your analysis. I will hold my btc.

This is why i only invested 0.1 BTC. Frankly any more does not justify the risk.

Well I am still thinking what to do. I have less than 10 hours to decide. I am also waiting for Anon's opinion and answers to the questions that I made in my original post. In Anon I have a trust and this trust comes from NXT community.

I also forgot to state in my original post that a communication especially from Exo_coin was perfect. He had patience and answered all the questions, but we should keep in mind that these answers were merely promises. If we look at this perfect communication from a negative side one might say that he will get a nice reward for his patience and perfect communication, over $35,000 guaranteed as we speak, if this is a scam.

Once again, I am not saying that this is a scam. I am not a sort of person that will come here and yell with big red letters scam, scam. I am just trying to look at the situation objectively. But one thing is sure, we should trust no one in this Internet/Crypto world until this trust wasn't earned. And even then we are not sure, after all of this is just sort of gamble, even Bitcoin.

Ok so they started a thread that was dead for over 3 weeks. When they saw this they postponed the end of the 1st round and release of the whitepaper with the excuse that the whitepaper wasn't done in time. OK it might be, but to me it seems that they just knew that the IPO is a total fiasco and they postponed it by 1 week.

Right about this time the best thing for them happens. Anon136 shows up and starts interest into this coin. Anon, who has amazing reputation on this site. By showing his interest he gets many NXT members with him to show interest into this thread (I am one of them). After this, the IPO explodes.

There is about 150 BTC altogether of investment so far. I did a calculation and maybe I am off for 5 BTC, but even 145 is a lot. We can just round it to 150 BTC. Of this Anon is holding about 90 BTC in escrow.
So to recapitulate my little recapitulation what are possible outcomes?

1. Everything goes as planned. We get the coin and everything works. They are not the scammers. Great!

2. After tonight they disappear like Visacoin guys did. You might say but Anon is holding our BTC. Ok great, but what about 60 BTC in their
BTC and LTC addresses? This is about $35,000at the moment. Pretty nice sum you have to agree especially for someone that was begging for every single coin just 2 months ago.

3.They try to screw everybody even Anon and pick up all 150 BTC and probably more until tonight at 23:59. Now I am asking you all is this possible? Anon? What are the terms? Will we see the whitepaper first before you release funds so we can decide this is legit or not? Will you get coins first and then release BTC? And if you do get coins does this mean anything? Does this number of 15,000,000 means that we have a legit coin that they have promised will change the crypto scene or this is just some clone coin or whatsoever? Is this hard to do? I am asking you because I am not too tech savvy to know is this possible?

When I get answers to these questions I will decide will I invest or not. And please, after you read this and you go to leave a reply please remember that I am not here to bash all of this. I am also a potential investor but just very careful one. Many people missed the NXT boat, me too personally and now are jumping to anything just not to miss another boat. I don't wanna be greedy and in this way lose my hard earned money, that is why I am writing this and investigating. Let's face it, there is just a lot of scam out there.

Thanks all!

Ok guys,

104 BTC invested so far. That means about 144,000 per BTC. And we still have one whole day until the end of the first round.
What does this mean to you all? Is it worth getting into all of this if we consider that this is a real deal and not a scam.

Also what happens in 2nd and 3rd round? Do people that invested in 1st round also get coins in 2nd and 3rd round?

Thanks

It starts indeed being questionably interesting, but the dev will probably agree to tweak the numb of coins distributed, and maybe reduce the amount of rounds from 3 to 2, we'll see what he thinks.
Also, you can re invest in the other rounds, but you won't get coins because you invested in 1st round.

i hope that he will atleast tweak the numbers enough to make sure that round 2 and 3 investors are not compensated more than round 1 investors. Cheesy if worse comes to worst just combine all three into 1.

Anon136 is 55btc ~ and ~ 220ltc in total so far?
Or ~ 104 BTC (its + the direct invested) as the other post mentioned above?

104 BTC altogether.. I added Anons + BTC and LTC account from the 1st page..

The best thing for eXo was getting mentions in the Nxt thread, this thread was dormant for two months until two days ago.

if this guys is legit and makes a good product than it will have a really great distribution.

if you like to become an early-bird investor, than feel free to transfer to the following bitcoin/ litecoin address (only 0.005 to 1.5 BTC [0.2 to 50 LTC] will be considered [If you want to use escrow service - see below].

Anon136, mate! Out of curiosity, why do make the same minor grammar mistake as eXo_coin? I can't and won't believe that you're the same! It can only be coincidence?!!

interesting observation. was than incorrect grammar? was i supposed to have said then?

So what is a total investment until now? Anon how much are you holding in escrow? I can see the BTC and LTC account. I would like to do calculations.
Thanks

?
Not sure what you mean by that.

But maybe I just explain the process - I think this will answer your questionmark:

on launch day we will spread EXO to all investors and to the people from free mail-giveaway. But before we can deliver the EXO we need to have all investments in our wallets. The reason: the amount of EXO one investor will get on launch day depends on all investments that will be done till the end (propotional). If we would accept that someone finish his escrow some days after the launch then how could we calculate how much any investor will get? We cannot forecast if someone will release his funds somedays after launch or if he will reject it completely. That would change calculations.

One day before launch we will make those calculations and prepare the distribution.

However, if you finish your escrow so that it will be in our wallets at least one day before launch you have the following assurances:
- you can read the whitepaper
- you can take part in an open beta before you need to finish the escrow

regarding open beta: you will get the regular client (with little modifications) that will be used from launch day on as well. Little modifications means that it will only work within a testnet. You will receive some test-EXO automatically so that you can transfer and interact and use the whole program.

I hope that I could help you.

hang on a moment, you can calculate exactly how much to give on launch day. The Escrow, Anon, has the exact figures  for what he has collected and from whom. You can calculate exactly on this basis. given this information

Then you can send the coins exo coins to either Anon or the people directly, as Anon can verify their contacts, and then the LTC / BTC can be released to you.

Even then if a person does not chose to have anon release the coins, he can send the portion back to you (minus his fee) and if exo is that good you will have no problem selling them at nice profit.

You have loudly stated on your first page you can use escrow, and escrow means at the very least the escrow holds both parts. There is no way an escrow can give BT/LTC out to you before you give out you coins. THATS NOT ESCROW. Look at it this way. Would you give your proportion away to people who simply pledge to give you coins after you give them exo....? Because thats what your asking people to do.

I completely agree with this one. I don't know but too many scams have been around lately, I don't know what to think about this one.

What is this coin all about?
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: February 19, 2014, 08:50:16 PM
QUICK UPDATE

Atomic-Trade will be adding Nxt.  I'm paying for integration with my own funds since AT agreed to add USD/Nxt trade abilities.  This will allow any users to buy Nxt with USD directly.  Currently AT only offers USD/BTC trading, so we will have an advantage over other alts on the exchange. Also, when I get home this evening, expect Nxt to lead the voting in Mintpal Wink

WoW MSIN,

Thanks a lot! This is a really great community! So excited!

Great site, makes following prices and charts real easy. You should definitely add NXT though, it is very innovative with great community and  it is a future. This would make it easier for a fast growing NXT community to follow prices in addition to the BTC and other coins people have.
Thanks and keep up a good work!

Just a quick update that both, Vircurex and BTER have sorted out my deposit problems. So everything is OK now.
476  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: February 15, 2014, 09:07:59 AM
I just got on a computer and they have credited mine during the night, I believe it will be soon sorted out for everybody..
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: February 14, 2014, 01:45:59 PM
Is it safe to withdraw Nxt from Bter?  Shocked

It worked for me,

I withdrew once just right now and once last night..
On the other hand, I was waiting for a deposit over 48h..
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: February 14, 2014, 10:47:00 AM
Update Vircurex: Still nothing from there side, so no feedback from them regarding the missing deposit.  Angry
I tested a vircurex deposit and while nothing ever ended up in my vircurex acct, the deposit is just sitting there in the deposit address they gave me to use. Did you check to see if your deposit is in the NXT address you sent it to? If so, it could just be a delay caused by all the BTC problems. They are probably manually checking all withdrawals and maybe even deposits.

Yes this is exactly the case. NXT are sitting in our Vircurex deposit addresses. On the other hand, it would be nice if somebody at least responded with one line to all of our emails.. I mean 3 days have passed..
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: February 14, 2014, 09:17:38 AM
Ok guys so what's up with Vircurex? It is like they have disappeared into a thin air.
I resolve my problems with BTER, yesterday night they credited my coins after we exchanged 10 emails, but they at least responded.
Vircurex guys don't respond third day in a row.. And I am not the only one, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=49383.new#new
Did anybody actually managed to deposit NXT to Vircurex in the last 3 days?
Anyone has more info? Maybe I should just PM their lead man KUMALA, but he wasn't active either on this forum since February 1st.
Unbelievable!!
Thanks
