As already said, I can see myself trying a draw as well - the odds are around 6 which is quite attractive. Recent games with Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal ended in a draw, meaning City, being a title contender, scored only 3 points out of 9. Aston Villa is in 4th place and their season is going much smoother than Chelsea. Why is the odds for City's victory so ridiculous, as if they have a two-goal handicap? I understand that losing points here would mean losing the title, but do tournament considerations have any weight on the field? Aston Villa also wants to maintain its advantage over Tottenham and guarantee its place in the Champions League.
Yeah, bookies sometimes do this - I don't understand it as well. Could be that they know Watkins is unable to play - without him Villa is a different team after all. Still - makes perfect sense to give it a shot - I think I'll try to go for a draw. |

Agreed that Zidane for France makes a lot of sense. I don't really rate him a lot as a club manager regardless of his success in Madrid, and I don't see any big clubs standing in line and hoping to sign him.
National football however would suit him perfectly, especially a team filled with stars not really interested in working together as a team.
Zidane is a huge character with historical significance for French national team so yeah - he might be the leader they need.
Deschamps has amazing results though - won the World Cup, was runner up on both World Cup and Euro and won the Nations league. He will reach 100 wins with the team soon with 65% win percentage - not sure it gets any better than this.

I expected more people would have him, but if you have Haaland Isak is probably not a transfer you can make. I like Trofo's idea of adding "weight" based on odds. More incentive for players to take risk, means more exciting outcomes. Have a feeling it will mean even heavier defeats for me though heh.
We discussed it multiple times, it's really hard. All things must be taken into consideration, for example if we implement it, every round should have one. I was also thinking about some kind of 'home advantage' a lot, but considering how the league is set up (there are 15 games) there's always someone at a disadvantage. We are constantly discussing stuff but we need to be really careful not to introduce something that is broken or unfair. Why is nobody filling up question number 5 with GSW?
