Damn, Ulven guessed PSG to win by 3 goals difference. The red card changed the game of course and it was a crazy pick to make, but that's how you win them I guess.

TBH, I feel that the red card was a bit too harsh there. Sure, last player and all that, but the ball was kicked too hard before the tackle and it wasn't a clear goalscoring opportunity.

^  Didn't watch the matches...  Did they use VAR?  Sometimes in some matches I feel like there are spots that I think they should've used it and at the spots that they did use it, sometimes they get it wrong.  At least imho they got it wrong.  All the game stoppages, killing the momentum for VAR which gets it wrong at times.

Anyway City vs Real next...  Will def watch that one.  The club that goes thru here will go to the final and win the CL.  These two are the toughest teams in this tourney.  My dark horse is Bayern.

Rules are Rules, soft or not. If the last man obstructs a goal-scoring opportunity, the ref has no choice but to send him off. He can only reconsider other options if it was inside the box because most referees dislike the double punishment rules. I'm sure if it had been inside the box, the referee would have given a yellow and a penalty to keep the game balance.

It was amazing to see Barcelona get cooked in front of their fans, and Xaxi get sent off for damaging UEFA property.

Yeah no chance that was a red card. But in this "new" pussy football everything can be. Is a shame when the referees and the broadcasters goes with the simulation of the players, and said something like, "well but the contact exist" COME ON!....

Anyways i think Barcelona CANT cry about that because his whole new history is founded on one of the most craziest steals in football history, and im refering to the Chelsea-Barcelona game. Nobody can know what and how can be footbal today if that match ended up in Chelsea favor, maybe Guardiola never gonna be Guardiola and Messi and Barca also cant reach that high.

Wow. Personally, I chose between. 2-1 in favor of PSG and 3-1 and was not brave enough to choose 3-1 although I felt that 2-1 was a weak choice. But choosing 3-0 in favor of PSG is tough. It’s a pity that by actually making such a crazy pick, he received only 0.5 points more than those who chose a simple victory for PSG.
By the way, I wonder what the odds were for PSG to win with a handicap of -2 goals? It was probably a good jackpot for those who were brave.

Nah, that's really not the case. Clean red cards are 2-footed tackles, kit pulls and evident obstructions.
I said, I do understand it being given. It is an obstruction, and if Barcola was closer to the ball I'd say sure, all clean.

However, Barcola did push the ball too far before the contact, Ter Stegen was closer and there is a high probability he's the first one on the ball, which doesn't make it a clean goal-scoring opportunity.

Once again - it can be given, more often than not it will be given. I just feel that it is soft and in a game like this it is a big call to make. I'm sure he'd preferred if the foul was inside the box, it would be a cleaner call - yellow card and a penalty.

Not rooting for Barca in any capacity - I don't really like them. They fell like a house of cards afterwards, if they were a better team they would have defended better.

It was expected also by the bookies the Dortmund victory as since minute 33 of their first leg game Dortmund took the game in hand and they missed several opportunities,of course Atletico was impacted by the missing of Saul which was a key player in the first leg as he got booked there and I think missing such a great player connecting defense to attack was the key to Dortmund success.

I think the draw is clear now as they face PSG and I see no escape for them in such encounter in the 30.04 and 07.05 two games for the semi final,it will of course be very entertaining to watch yet I am pretty sure I don't see any escape route for Dortmund seeing both teams performance.

Bayern won against Arsenal so we are now going to have two German teams in Champions League semi-finals 
I dont remember last time that happened, there is even a chance we could see Bayern vs Dortmund playing in final, and they are not even in top position in Bundesliga.
I think PSG will be better against Dortmund, and odds are not bad at all.

As we have 10 stakes left in total for the semi final and final matches it isn't much possible for me to close the gap with Hhampuz. Well its penalty shootout though so 50 50 chance at best against a team like Real Madrid. Well overall pretty interesting match to watch although Real Madrid had to defend for like the majority of the game but thanks god we get to the penalty shootout instead of having Real Madrid to qualify with only 1 goal

but I think in final we will see PSG vs Real this time and both teams will have equal chances to win the trophy.

Im hoping before we get to the final, we'll get another great semifinals game like we had on quarter finals with lots of goals. PSG-Dortmund is probably gonna be it

CLS63 big winner (others like Woodie also won big points with the unlikely plays of 1 goal only for Bayern/Arsenal), now sniffing the behinds of Hhampuz and cryptofrka.

I won some points, but now need to go for broke to break into top 10 in the final submission. OK night for me. If Real had won though, I'd have pocketed a nice bit of satoshi on my 12/1+ acca. As it is, they only qualified via penalties.

Manchester City Out! Arsenal Out! Somehow Manchester City loosing also made the pain of Arsenal loosing out of the competition less They have taken the attention away from us. It is a bigger news that the defending champions have been knocked out, than the inexperienced Arsenal team.

He brought down a player on the edge of the box in a potential 1-on-1 situation, and you believe he's not going to score? Nobody cares if he scores or not; the rules state that you cannot hinder his movement from behind; if you must, make a clean tackle while touching the ball first.

Barcelona fans shouldn't be whining about ref rulings because you paid tonnes of dollars to the UEFA refs to get decisions in your favour for decades.
