Hi All,
I wanted to give everyone a quick update as to where we are with xxxcoin.
First of all we have been working on a fix to version 60007 for almost a week, it's been pretty crazy since we had to make a number of changes to the code in order to get the source up to date with current technology. We have been unsuccessful in contacting mojpoj, as such will need to move forward with developing a new website and setup new social media channels. we already have #xxxcoin on freenode. The current wallet as you all know is broken due to a number of forks and is undergoing a major upgrade/fix. Please do not delete any info in your app-data folders until we give you the green light. And PLEASE KEEP YOUR wallet.dat FILES SAFE.

As you can see from the total blocks this wallet is on the wrong chain, we are working to align our chain with Criptsy,
and are currently waiting for an email back from the wallet team to confirm their block height and block hash for their last block.
I'm sure everyone will agree that it would be silly to move forward to version 60008 on any other chain. The BlockExplorer
is now on Block 482801 as I type this. The way you would check what chain you are on is by running the below command in the console:
getblockhash 359054
This may return the following: 6aa0d342c5886da9841685ba17f43e52c9d0e5ad943f7d0930cc66365d56ce9b
If you have that string then you are on the wrong chain.
As far as getting a working wallet out is concerned we will be testing our first Windows wallet by tomorrow. We will create a bootstrap to test that will ban all version 60007 wallet versions and earlier, this will prevent anyone switching to the wrong fork.
Once we are happy that the wallet is bug free and syncs without the need for any stop starts or other unnecessary madness we will do the following:
update source code on Github to reflect all changes.
Contact all exchanges past and present to update daemons.
Release xxxcoin windows wallet version 60008 - (Web wallet kit with built in explorer and exchanges)
Deploy games (Wheel, Dice and BlackJack)
API Payment Gateway
Apps: IOS and Android Faucet, wallet and market data
Once all this has been done we have something very exciting in the pipeline that we believe will set us aside from any other adult coin.
As you all know a lot of time and effort goes into coding so any donations to our development fund for xxxcoin would be hugely appreciated. Even if it's just enough for beer and pizza.

Als i noticed you are trying to takeover xxx. If i want to invest should i buy ttc or xxx? As i can imagine you are not going to use two different coins at the same time, so i assume you get rid of one of them?
Well spotted, we have already started the takeover process and plan to offer both TTC and XxX as an adult payment solution where merchants can choose one or the other or both. Our marketing manager Steve (Tittiecoiner) introduced this concept in order to encourage merchant adoption as well as giving customers some choice, ultimately resulting in more sales. There is also the opportunity for cross promotion giving us a market edge. At this stage, I personally would invest in Tittiecoin, the price is low and we have lost 95% of our dumpers over the last year. XxXcoin on the other hand will need to undergo a "sanitizing process" since the community was not able to spend or trade any coins held off exchanges for some time now. Secondly where and how can customers buy ttc? I mean they not going to buy at exchanges, thats to difficult for a customer. A customer wants to buy it directly without any hassle. So they should be able to buy ttc with creditcard/paypal else your coin wont have any value im afraid.

We are in the process of rolling this out and the service will will be offered through a company called Digital Gold Ltd. At this stage our main objective is to contact merchants and introduce them to Tittiecoin and the benefits of using TTC as a payment option, while in the background we develop the infrastructure needed to make buying and spending as easy as possible. We are also working to make it easy for merchants to convert to fiat currency. In the background we have promotional Apps such as our Android App that was published last weekend in order to get Tittiecoin in front of more people. On the back of this we have a heap of promotional activities planned that will be announced closer to the date. We are all excited about the direction Tittiecoin is head in and I am confident that people will start to get involved within the next two weeks when we start to gain momentum in the public space. There are three exciting updates to share with the community today. I've already taken control of the XxXcoin Github account, the same one that is linked to by Cryptsy so that's pretty much the cat in the bag so to speak! http://github.com/devxxxcoin/I will compile XxXcoind later this evening from source and install on a sever to create a seed node. Once I have managed to Sync the wallet I will upload the code to GitHub and post info here on how to achieve a syncing wallet as well as details on how we will move forward regarding pulling in the premine and any donations from the community to go towards the XxXcoin development fund. I will also be frisking Bittrex up against the wall regarding the coins that they held from user accounts. Would be great to hear from the community as quite a substantial amount of time has gone into getting the XxXcoin Flag flying again, the GitHub account that I managed to acquire has set the wheels in motion. |
