Please, tell me what I need to do here.
[2018-01-02 00:10:12.738] See README.txt file included for help
[2018-01-02 00:10:13.048] You need to install a WinUSB driver for - BSC device 3:2 [2018-01-02 00:10:13.048] And associate - BSC device 3:2 with WinUSB using zadig
Well, let's see. It's just a guess, but I would suggest reading the readme.txt file that came with CGMiner and then install the WinUSB driver and associate it with your device using the Zadig utility.

Hey Guys,
Can somebody guide me with this issue
I need to use my Antminer D3 to solo mine for a wallet on my PC,they are all connected on the same network I read here a lot of comments but I'm little bit confused,so please write the steps clearly as i'm not and expert
Thinks in advance
Your posting about an Alt Coin miner in the Bitcoin section. You should be asking for support from the manufacture or posting in the Alt Coin section.

SUGGESTION:
Could someone program CGMINER (I can write it too if you'd like) so that if all ASIC miners have disappeared, some shell script is run? I'd like to reboot if that's the case to prevent dead air time.
PS: I've been an OS/2 supporter and lover for a long time until IBM quit it. I still have shareware utils that I wrote under OS2. After that, I switched to Linux.
Many thanks, -turgut
CGMiner is pretty resilient when a device zombies. You probably need to find out why it's "disappearing" in the first place. The latest version of OS/2 is called ArcaOS which was release in May of this year. Check it out for nostalgia if nothing else ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Dears i using this card ( sapphire radeon hd 4850 vapor-x 512mb ) but the miner can not find it every time i need help to Mine using this card and i need to know how much hash rates for this card
This thread is almost 7 years old. NOTHING in this thread pertains to Bitcoin mining today. Please read the forum rules and move into the modern era of Bitcoin mining. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2415854.msg24714338#msg24714338

I was wondering where I could read up more on mining and if it would be worth building a mining rig using 6x 1050 TIs atm or if it isn't worth it anymore? (To mine ETH, ZEC and XMR)
First start by reading the forum rules https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2415854.msg24714338#msg24714338Then post in the altcoin section and read up on mining alt coins there. Good Luck.

5830 for 2 years and 2 months. 5770 2 years and 1 month.
I just retired them both last month after getting Block Erupters. Both GPU's are still functional. Sam
hi, are you mining for 24/7 also? You know this thread is over 4 years old...but it does bring back memories... Yes it does. It was a fun hobby for when I was unemployed. I'm still using those coins to buy Christmas presents for this year. That's real nice to be able to do. Merry Christmas all!

I have had 83 7950s running for 3 months at max tems of 60c core 80c vrm no dead card yet ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Wow. Thats a lot man. How much you make per month? I would say a big fat Zero. You can't mine Bitcoin with GPU's anymore, as the difficulty is way too high.

As I never used Kano before, which SHA256 coins can I mine through this pool?
Since your in the Bitcoin section of the forums, in a Bitcoin Pool thread, I would guess, Bitcoin! Call me crazy.
|
|

Lulz - read up about pools at least.
Prop minings allows miners to hop and make way more profits that miners who stay on the pool.
Our pool is hopping protected. Then it must not be a proportional payout system!!!

hi, are you mining for 24/7 also? No, GPU mining Bitcoin hasn't been profitable for a long time now. If you want to mine alt coins post in the altcoin section instead of resurrecting outdated posts.

Why does no one answer this aspect.. What is 5Nd is 9,365,527,376,108.0 How does it relate to "time" as everyone refers to it as.
It relates to time in how long it takes to find that many shares. The higher the hash rate the less time it takes and the lower the hash rate it takes more time. It is variable. So the open shifts are 5 times 9,365,527,376,108 for this difficulty period. How long a period of time that is depends on the pools hash rate.
|
|
|
So, what's the 5Nd value?
The current Bitcoin network value for Nd is 1,873,105,475,221.6 and thus 5Nd is 9,365,527,376,108.0
Yes 5Nd is a mathematical expression which is (5 X Network difficulty). That is how long shifts are open. That way it is extremely unlikely that a share will go through the entire 5Nd and not get paid, possible but unlikely. I guess my brain cannot connect the terms used like " This is how long shifts are open" 9,365,527,376,108 ? WHat? Seconds, Hours minutes? The reference everyone makes is to "time" on how long they are open, but I cannot seem to make this compute in my head. so 9,365,527,376,108 is not seconds or minutes. Is it 9,365,527,376,108 shares? I know how the number itself is derived ie 5 x Network difficulty, But what units is it? Shares seems to be the only reasonable unit this can be. Uh, yes, it's shares. Current difficulty is the number of shares it takes to find a block at 100% Luck.
