461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 01, 2024, 01:07:33 PM
That's right, AC Milan may currently making 3rd place as their target this season, even though Milan has the potential to become champion, but with the point difference with Inter & Juventus it seems difficult to overcome. This possibility does exist, but Milan's inconsistent performance could making AC Milan cannot stay in 3rd place or be able to compete for the Scudetto. The most important thing is how Pioli maximizes all the matches he will face in the second half of the season. 3rd position will be the best position for Milan. IMO.

Milan last 4 matches is magnificent, they are showing good form but they didn't start well and apparently, they conceded a lot of goals and that'd why they were able to loss 4 matches and Inter and Juventus loss only 1 one games do far, this is how they were able to stay on top of the tree. The only way Milan can meet up right now is if they don't lose any match from here and perhaps Inter and Milan lose like 3 matches in a row then they will come close and the margin in their points will be settled but the season is just half way, we have another long days to see how the season unfold.

I'm concerned about Napoli growth, the beginning was bad but towards half way they became the face of Seria only to start losing match in the half of the season. They are doing bad to be honest and for a team that came first  in Seria A after many years to be sitting way below Roma says how bad the team has become. Walter Mazzari need new men and strategies as a new coach to take them back else they lose the chance of going the Champions League next season.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 01, 2024, 12:53:40 PM
A gambling expert brought i and some friends a guaranteed predicted game and asked us to stake a a high amount so that we winning could be huge and so we can give him a percentage of the money at winning.

I don't believe there could be a 100% guaranteed game but yet my friends who are eager to make profits in the gambling accepted to play the gamed as instructed and at the end of it, they all loosed the game and at then, the rest of us were happy because we didn't play the game else we would had loosed as others.

I want to ask, do you believe in experts gambling predictions?

They called it "sure game" for the street, mostly if they want to deceive you, the will say thr game was sent from person who has made life through gambling with full assurance and by the time the outcome is displayed, you would wish you personally make your own predictions because the way the game comes use to be like a newbie predictions with many losses.

I use to tell people that where money is coming, they don't tell people and the hardly share such with people but I don't know why people fall for this scams. There was one this guy was sharing on WhatsApp and was given assurance that it's a sure game and must be played on a specific betting platform, I accepted the game but didn't use the platform. People that played lost, I also made the same selection on my own end and still failed. This is to tell you that they are agents chosen to deceive the public to play on a specific platforms so they lose and the company can gain from their losses.

There is nothing like sure game or sure bets, it's a delusional to think that someone will hive you sure prediction of matches or events you have no connection over. Even fifa itself cannot make changes or predictions about matches talk more of ordinary gambler.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will do to bank what Email did to post office on: December 31, 2023, 06:39:15 PM
Technology has been one of the factors that has made things very easy for everyone, gone are days when people were finding it very difficult of sending letters from one person to another do to the lack of internet, so however for a message to be send across it must go through postal office and before it gets to the recipient it takes up to days. But however the arrival of internet changed everything and made it very easy everyone to convey messages from a person to another through emails.

So Boiling it down to Bitcoin and banks, actually the existence of Bitcoin has greatly improved the mindset of people especially on investment diversification such as profits making because is obvious that any money we put or save on the bank will not yield any profit so instead of people saving much money on the bank when there is a great opportunity offered by Bitcoin to channel all our money with the possibility of making or multiplying our capital in the future. So perhaps do you guys think the reason why most countries are having some restrictions on Bitcoin is because of the effects it has on the bank that people prefer to invest there funds on Bitcoin instead of banks?.

There is a misconception about these email, Gmail, Banks and bitcoin.

When they say bitcoin will replace the banks, it's not like they are going to make banks to be useless like Gmail electrically modernized mail. No, the two are parallel and there is limitations to both of them but they still coexist like two species. Banks are none to be centralized and often limit people when it comes to versatility of financial system but because Bitcoin is decentralized, nobody limit you how and when you should spend your money. If you go to a bank today to open an account, you have to under series of protocol with documents only to be giving a limited account but with bitcoin, it's permissionless as you don't need anyone approval to open a wallet, you can send in and out as many bitcoin thag you need. However, you can't do everything with bitcoin yet because of the legal status limitation. You can't spend bitcoin without the use of fiat and that's why I said in the beginning that bitcoin can't do same Gmail stunt to banks, it's still far from that but who knows maybe in the future.

To buy bitcoin, you need to buy with any recognized currency which is fiat, you definitely need bank interference to help you facilate transactions and this makes banks and bitcoin to exist together, to buy you need them and to sell, you also need them and addition, you have to py tax in fiat in some countries. This is why bitcoin and banks will live for years except if we see changes later on. The big banks are trying to chase out bitcoin though, the recent attack of SEC and other law enforcement says a lot about how they want bitcoin buried 10 feets under the ground.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Deviated from The Vision of Satoshi? on: December 31, 2023, 06:09:12 PM
Look at the Bitcoin whitepaper once more: a peer-to-peer electronic payment system indeed. Was Satoshi really envisioning a payment system so widespread that it became a preferred way of paying for goods and services? What's happening today? Bitcoin is now more of an investment than a payment tool. In fact, it's as if all the cryptocurrencies are businesses for their inventors, bar Satoshi—a means of becoming automatic millionaires rather than a peer-to-peer payment system. In fact, the quickest way to get rich these days seems to be by starting a crypto project.

Not even the guy that started Bitcoin Satoshi Vision is exempted.

Bitcoin, a peer-to-peer payment system? Nah... more of a decentralized speculative investment platform.

Bitcoin has been a speculative assets even before Satoshi disappearance from online, he was here in 2010 and it bitcoin price has started to behave the way it's today. It was even more volatile those days because of low liquidity as it now today. You are not discussing the real challenge of bitcoin, we have more other than it been speculative assets since Satoshi left it to be open for everyone.

Bitcoin isn't longer for Satoshi, it's  now a big digital currency for the world  but the debate of mempool is never ending. This boiled down to the fees and I'm just curious why some BIP(bitcoin improvement proposals) where rejected and they allow bitcoin transaction mempool to be spam. I want to be convince otherwise that we have many other people from miners that love this crazy fees. It's the bitcoin community that are complaining but miners are enjoying everything they ever wanted in this cost of transactions. It still baffle how they stylishly even allow segwit for people to cut down fees only to be spending this huge fees when Satoshi whitepaper has vision and it's clearly stated and yet we want adoption.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Answer this Gambling Question on Duration of Joy after a win or loss on: December 31, 2023, 05:37:11 PM
No one enjoys losing in gambling.Losing brings our hopes down, it ushers in emotional pain and grumpiness whereas, winning elevates our mood, bringing happiness and excitement. There are games where I have won and after withdrawing my winnings, I am so happy that I give gifted some of it to people around me. This doesn't last for long once the it is out of my hand and minds. I am curious, how long does this joy last after a win or a loss—does it linger until your next bet, lasting the whole day, just 20 minutes, or perhaps 2 hours?

This should be individual because our excitement rate is not the same. I can win a game today in the morning and the next 2 hours, I have forgotten about it. Not that I don't enjoy the excitement but there is nothing really to joy over if we consider how much the casino has gained from people. Any amount you win from casino, just know that there are hundreds and thousands of more that has lost more than that and any amount you think you have won, if you are not careful, you might even lose more than that after some weeks or mornths, only few lucky bad guys navigate through this losses.

I also feel that as a gambler, when you win a substantial amount of money, it's better to call it off and go rest and try again. The idea of "I win, let me try again" is very bad except for those who does sports and are very sure of what they are doing. You might even be having assurance on some matches only for the team to clear you down, Arsenal made me feel that today. So it's actually subjective and I have given my opinion already.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your New Year's resolution? on: December 31, 2023, 05:28:50 PM
Gambling has been a part of our lives if you are an active gambler, and as this year is about to end, I would like to know your New Year's resolution.

Please share it with us here, and please don't make your new years resolution like you will not gamble again, that's against the rule of a gambler.

Also, I like to greet you all, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Do I have one? If there is anything new I want to add to my new year wish is gamble less so I can enjoy every moment of life. There was a time this year I over gamble and at some points, I got so stressed and I was badly down with high BP due to anxiety and the reason why this occur most of time is I fear the outcome of what will come after I bet. I used to gamble before and this doesn't occur to me until I started virtual, if you do sports a lot you will understand how dangerous those games were and I became a fan after I win few but the followed losses were beyond my imagination.

I have quit it though but he anxiety I had in 3 weeks looks like months and I don't want to try more on the games. I want to gamble less and play less and enjoy the fun of the sports through watching. More I could add is the more you gamble more is more you lose. So even you are gambling the amount you can afford to lose, after you sum up the money you bets, it will shock you that the amount is actually big that yiu can't afford to lose. Gamble less and work on the skills as well.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 31, 2023, 05:09:41 PM
While all football fans rejoice in welcoming the arrival of the new year, Arsenal is saddened by consecutive defeats in the EPL. This result makes Arsenal even further behind Liverpool who are at the top of the standings. If Liverpool manages to win in week 20, the points deficit will increase even more. Arsenal is still stuck in fourth place with 40 points, only one point different from Tottenham, which is one rank below.

After Manchester United spoilt my mood yesterday, I thought I have had it all but never did I expect Arsenal to fall my hand with Fulham, I'm looking for the right word to use for that club but I have none, nevertheless the are piece of garbage that gave their fans all hope to support only to let them down half way the journey. How can you not lose matches in the beginning of the season only to start playing gibberish matches and make one to lose money. Fulham that was trash by Burnley and Bournemouth but it was a hard day job for Arsenal to the same, the loss is on them, not me.  Undecided

Losing points in the last three matches made Arsenal close 2023 very disappointingly, Manchester City, which had lost control in several matches, has started to find its path again. Now it is increasingly difficult for Arsenal to regain first position due to their inability to perform consistently which results in losing a lot of points.

If things has gone well, they should be around 46 point to stay ahead of Liverpool but they are now behind Manchester City that were out of the top 4 some days ago, they now share similar points. Tomorrow is new year and I'm very sure that if Manchester City climb back that top of the tree in the standing, they will not back down again especially now that Kevin De Bruyne is back to strengthen their midfield.

469  Economy / Economics / Re: Why must you used such money to purchased a car? on: December 28, 2023, 10:05:53 AM
I know, having a car as a young guy is very good to reduce some transport fair in some area and to make it easy for your family or siblings to catch some fun in some good area. But how can someone at the age of 20 years used $28 millions to purchased a car that is not going to bring income to he, when we have some decentralized investment you can invest such amount of money in the bear season and have hope of making more money that will reach you to start other business that will be fetching you cool money. This is what one of my friend did few months ago despite the advise I gave to him to invest the money on BTC or Ethereum, that  he will make more money that will give him more opportunities to build more companies but he never listen to my advice despite the inflation in the country but he went to used $28 millions to purchased Rolls Royce that will not last more than 5 years before it will start looking like old car to the eye of people. If you have such friend that doesn't have any investment and he went to invest such money on car will you continue to take such person as your friend? I have separated from him based on the money he use to buy car that will not add value to his life but people said I would have not separated from him that it have been long we became friends in the environment. What I did is it good or bad so that I will know how to apologize to him to continue the friendship with him.

Life doesn't revolve around crypto, it's not a must to invest in crypto as we have people that have done well in it and also do badly, they lost everything in crypto, you can dispute that. We have people that are not crypto freaks from day and today, they are bastardly rich from their business, so when you want to make reference to investment, do it on a wider scale and not limited to crypto only.

One of the mistakes many young lads make is because they want to be respected by the society, want to impress and feel among but do I really blame them? No. The society mentality has changed where hard work doesn't pay anymore, people want to see you with worthy things before they respect you, the girls want to see the boys in quality life before they hang out with them, the life has changed from trying to impress the families and make them proud to impressing and oppressing people of not achieving what they have and majorly this happen around teenage because they know no shit about life. Give that boy 10 years from now, he will regret the mistake he has made today.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees have disappointed me today on: December 28, 2023, 09:21:12 AM
Bitcoin transaction fees have become a topic of discussion lately. A lot of topics have been created about Bitcoin transaction fees. It seems the transaction fees are throwing Bitcoin away from its original goal.

Today I attempted to make a Bitcoin payment on Namecheap. Instead of making transactions from the Ledger wallet, I tried to make them from Binance for a faster transaction since there was a 15-minute time limit. So the transaction and withdrawal fees asked in Binance are 0.0004BTC, which was almost $17 during the withdrawal.

Ok, let's forget Binance withdrawal fees. If I want to make transactions from the ledger, then the transaction has to arrive in 15 minutes. I am pretty sure if I want to ensure the time frame, then I have to spend similar fees, even from Ledger. So it's become hard to pay $17 transaction fees to make a $50 deposit. And by force, I had to use a virtual card that doesn't cost anything (I didn't notice any significant fees) and was an instant transaction as well. It made me believe that we are drifting away from Bitcoin's original goal in some way.

Didn't we all like Ordinals and BRC20 tokens? The community can do it, deep down they know these shits are as good as spamming the network and agitation of the mempool with sudden increases in fees but miners will turn a blind eye and say it's good for adoption because where they are making money is degrading twice in every four years and they will use this to compensate their revenue, this is bad even if we make a 100% profits doesn't mean we have to spend everything later on the fees.

Binance will not think twice about spending anything on the fees because their ways of processing payments favours them. In the space of 15 minutes of waiting, they can have more than 10 request withdrawals or even more and when they process these 10 outputs and it happens to be a segwit wallet address, they will spend less than what they collect from all the users. Let's say they collect $17 each from 10 people, that's $170, they can decide to spend $80 on the fees for the combined transactions to get into the next block and they hold the rest of the money. Most of the time, Binance don't spend money on a single transaction, they combine them to lower fees but isn't that better than sending from a personal wallet that will ask for $30 for the next block.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy Acquires 14,620 Bitcoin, Don't get carried away. on: December 28, 2023, 09:06:27 AM
I do the same, but I'm not Michael Saylor, I still can't gather even 1 full coin. I understand why some people are excited, but it kinda worries me that 1 man has almost 1% of the total supply. I don't see it as something good.

Microstrategy is a software and cloud-based company in US and all the Bitcoin you are around is owned by the company and not Micheal. According to some latest report, Micheal Saylor in person has about 17,732 and Microstrategy as a company has a total of 189,150 as last reported, I'm not sure if Micheal acquisition of personal Bitcoin has increased but he doesn't own all the Bitcoin. However, he owned about 24.2% share of the company which makes him the biggest shareholder and that is why he is representing the company and always agitate for bitcoin adoption.

What I fear is the rate at which they buy bitcoin and take all the bitcoins from weak hands and a time will come when the bitcoin community will be weak, all the power will be shifted to the institutional investors because they are holding large junks of bitcoin. Now imagine the total circulation, if 60% is been held by this group of people, are we going to have a say on how decentralized the Bitcoin network will be, I don't think so because by then, they will want to be in control of their investment and not with some boys that claim tech guru.

I do the same, but I'm not Michael Saylor, I still can't gather even 1 full coin. I understand why some people are excited, but it kinda worries me that 1 man has almost 1% of the total supply. I don't see it as something good.
Don't worry too much, even if he's got 1% of the total supply, he's definitely not the type to dump all of that to get profit and I don't think that he alone can't do it anyway right? There's a board of directors or stakeholders that are going to approve on what's the next move MicroStrategy is going to do so we don't have to worry too much.

He is the only one buying and holding, we have many of them who are secretly buying without making noise, now imagine if all of them decided to do what they like? You really want to trust a man that has billions invested in Bitcoin and you expect him to think like a typical person? They will sell when they want, remember that Elon was more bullish than he is right now but what happened in the end, he flipped his followers and sold more than 70% and went to face his cyber trucks.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Too Expensive For Me. on: December 27, 2023, 09:28:04 PM
The value of Bitcoin has gradually reached great heights. It has become impossible for a new small investor like me to invest in Bitcoin. I am a very small investor. $2k wealth is mine. Well does Bitcoin provide any opportunity in future that I can invest.

Your 5 fingers are not equal and so is financial stability of individuals. Bitcoin is divisible into bits of sats(smallest units of bitcoin) and with any amount, yiu can get any amount of sats or MBTC, it's not not compulsory to have a full bitcoin because even you have the full bitcoin, it will give the same increment I'm growth and profits. If you buy $2k worth of bitcoin and another person bought a full amount and then bitcoin did 100% profit in a year, you will each have that the same growth but the return on your profit and investment can never be the same because of the weight of the capital; the higher the risk the bigger the profits.

Future opportunity depend on some micro and macro factors of the economy, it's not a guarantee that you will have a return but just make sure that for every bitcoin you but, hold it in a secure wallet and the wallet should be a self custodial where nobody have access to and hope for the best. It always grow but as I said, nothing said is a guarantee when it comes to bitcoin investment.
473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin - Contentment / Addiction on: December 27, 2023, 07:02:29 PM
At what degree of Bitcoin accumulation is one said to be contented, if keep wanting can it be termed addiction

Just so you know, Microstrategy was announced some hour ago to have bought additional 14,620 btc and you are asking about satisfaction? Institutional investors are talking all tbe bitcoin away and you are here asking addiction and that? You should fight to have some under your seed phrase to avoid been left out because the accumulation is not ending soon until they get their hands on all the bitcoin and be the supreme power.

Quote
Becoming a Bitcoin owner is one of the sweetest achievements a person will want.
In other to purchase this Bitcoin it is either we deploy strategies in getting it, might be by Dcaing or buying wholesomely from the DIP.

I want to know if their is any point at which a person can say I have reach and get contented in owning Bitcoin? A point where the person lacks Contentment and keep on pressing to acquire more Bitcoin is It said as being addicted?

Bitcoin is not gambling, so please remove addiction from your statement.
You are asking about contentment of bitcoin but I want to direct the question back to you, is there anything like contentment in investment? Have you ever seen a rich man that says " cut this shit, I'm done. I'm okay with what I have had"? Have you seen such before. If today I have 1 complete bitcoin and tomorrow, I get an additional 50, I will be so happy and if I get more next year, I will forever be greatful because there is nothing as contentment with bitcoin, the struggle is continues process.
474  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is it really possible to lose your btc if you reuse same adress for withdrawal on: December 27, 2023, 06:34:24 PM
Hi guys
im withdrawing btc from binance to my electrum wallet but i heard here that its not safe
to reuse the same withdrawal adress and that could make you lose your btc is that true
reddit com/r/Bitcoin/comments/8x4a6n/should_i_use_the_same_address_when_withdrawing/

Next time you want to read anything related to bitcoin, please learn to read between lines, if you don't you will learn some stuff the hardway because you may read can't as can

The link you read the original post clearly state it's for privacy reasons, I guess you didn't look into that aspect very well or you don't understand bitcoin and privacy.

What bitcoin privacy mean is just a way of having bitcoin and using it without anyone knows you are the one person using it and sending it bitcoin to a particular bitcoin will quickly make chain analyst to easily detect or assume who is behind the wallet address and that's why they it's discourage to always withdraw bitcoin to same wallet address, even the exchange can easily know that the address belongs to you.

Quote
according to what i know wach btc adress on electrum has a private key so its impossible
to lose your btc if you deposit multiple times to the same adress right?
also if i have like 0.10 BTC on electrum but this btc split to 5 adresses doesnt that mean in
order to spend this 0.10 i need to pay the transaction fees 5 times since i need to send 0.02 five times?

To have a full access to a wallet address, you must have either the private key or the seed phrase, a watch only address cannot sign a transaction but can create a transaction but without the private key, it's meaningless because you need to access it.

Sending a transaction to different wallet doesn't mean you will pay fees for all the transaction. If you make the 5 transaction in a single batch, you will pay the fee in a single transaction but if you send bitcoin independently, you will pay for each and it will cost you more.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 27, 2023, 05:35:06 PM
Yes indeed, even though Manchester City play away against Everton in today's match, of course Manchester City will be the favorite team to win. But yes, even though Manchester City are still predicted to win in this match, I think it's still not easy either because yes, at least Everton are also still in a good trend at this moment.

Manchester City has taken longer time than I expected to bounce back to the top of th tree, but no doubt they should clean this match without any struggle even though Everton has been performing nicely the past weeks, I still think Manchester City will not take any chance in today's match. Guardiola is already piss with critics because of the slow recovery of the team but he says what maters is the end result which I believe he will deliver for certain.

Quote
What's more, it looks like Haaland will also not be played in this match because he is still injured but maybe I'm wrong, because I also still don't know the information related to Haaland in this match whether it will be played or not.

But yes, if for example Haaland still cannot be played in this match then of course it is still not easy for Manchester City to beat Everton in this match. At least, Manchester City's previous match when playing at home against Crystal Palace, at least that match will be a consideration too for this match. After all, although on paper Manchester City are still very favored but yes, at least Manchester City also still have a chance to fail.

Haaland is not coming and I don't think his absent will be felt that much considering the available players that are going to represent the team to night. Even if he should come, I don't think much will be achieve because in the last few matches of his, he didn't do much and some couldn't score a goal.

Perhaps Haaland has began to feel the absent of Kelvin, last season he never have a single break and never had to struggle for ball but it looks like he is now doing the only attack KDB was doing and while he does the score. People's opinions might be right when they say he can't do well without KDB because he has begin to show exactly that prowess but since Kelvin is back, maybe he will improve.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 27, 2023, 05:17:38 PM
I came across on YouTube where a gambling casino social influencer was streaming about a casinos platform.
He literally brought out his phone and was illustrating to the audiences that it is just few steps to take the winning on your games which is making choice of your predictions, choose amount to bet and also indicate his hashtag referral code and click on confirm.
Immediately you get credited directly to your account that just you won.
I just smiled but I want to ask, how many of you guys develops interests on a particular casino platform due to the influence of the casinos streamers?

For someone to influence me, he most have really impact in my life, I don't think people will listen to you as a person if they have not gain or benefited from you. Some streamers are good do but I don't think it's a wise thing to follow them because many of them are after money and nothing more.

Anything that involves money, I'm always careful about it and I don't make choice be cause a person tells me or encourage unless I have that on mind. I think anyone that see something of this nature knows that the influencer is trying to make some bucks into his pocket, the choice is yours to make but I don't get stuck into this free talks because I know that you can't do click here and there and make free money, if it is as that easy to make, I don't think he will be doing the influencer work, he would have followed his own advice and make the money alone.

477  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance: get rich or die trying on: December 26, 2023, 06:47:56 PM
Binance really seemed like an exchange that was trying to comply with the regulations and even follow sanctions initially. But then came allegations and investigations that Binance is helpful for evading the US sanctions, and it seems that Binance didn't do enough to prevent that from happening (and, judging from the article, sometimes even helped high-level clients to keep using Binance). What's good about this case is that the fall of CZ did not take Binance down. Binance will be supervised but will continue to operate, and 18 months isn't a big jail term.

Most of us are reading what the media is presenting to the table but there are more to things they feed the public, who knows if it’s Binance doing their thing to win the case or the Law enforcement doing what they know best.

Binance( the global exchange) was launched in the year 2017 and when they came around, the were operating accross all over the countries but later scams and fraud rates where at all time high that period because of ICO tokens that was taken place that time and Binance were pressure to register with US and do proper registration and implement KYC for everyone but they feel succumbing to US will jeopardize their customers from other regions and they might go to other places. So the idea of Binance US was introduced, they launched that in the year 2019 and asked all their US customers to withdraw all their tokens and move to the new specific Binance US.

Binance US was operating fine but with limited tokens and most of the things happening on Binance global wasn't happening there like the Laundpad IEO. However, because Binance has become a company in the US, they used that to hold them on the neck, it was even their pressure that made Binance to completely made KYC compulsory later in all the exchange. As if that wasn't enough, law enforcement claim Binance were laundering money with Binance US and many other accusations with Binance global and they were (CZ pleaded) guilty and fine, that's how the witch hunt led Binance to where they are today but do you really think Binance didn't do stuffs like that, I doubt.

As for CZ, he is still in the US and no access to the internet and I think Binance are been smart enough to learn from Sam.BF so as not to complicate his case but worry not, he will be free when the time comes. The US just want to have crypto on their palm and CZ and Binance been the leading exchange was their target and they have it under watch, let's pray they don't come for Bitcoin.

For those working for government or an entity, try  to  start a small business and grow it gradually while still doing your 9am- 5pm job.

Today is 26th of December 2023, how many of your friend that are doing white-collar job or work for the government that has set up a business actually succeeded in doing so this year? Let's start from there.

Business is not an adventure you jump into and comes out in flying color, you can give it a try and struggle to bye pass the turbulence and win and you may try it and fail instantly, there is no way about it; that said. If there is economy shake within the area where the business is situated, you will likely sell it and close up especially in a place where inflation has deeped seriously.

What kind of business do you even think a government person can start with when they are not been paid heavy amount, most of them depend on the paycheck to feed their families and pay the rest of the bills. You might say loan is available but it's a suicide to start a business with money on loan.

We might not feel the importance of it until we have been lay off from the job.
I have a question for those working for an entity or government, if you are being sacked today, what will be your faith? Will you still be financially strong, can your other sources of income keeps you going or you will be devastated by the loss of your job.

In this current economy, it's suicidal to have only one source of income.
If you must live well you must be ready to grab the bull by his horn am make life changing decisions by having more than one source of income.
Don't put your financial destiny in the hands of your bosses, you might not know the importance of having your own business till you have been sacked. think about it.

It's not good to depend on one source of income but that doesn't mean you should run and start a business, some of us are not a business type, some people can only excel when they work for another person and with proper management, they will live comfortably without struggling to pay for basic things. I mean, what's the point of starting a business after  raising large amount of money only to start a business and close it later, that's a loss you might never recover from you know.

Business is good and profitable if you know your way but instead of going through that and don't want to depend on a single source of income, why not do good extra work to get passive income. Why not invest the money into other good investment that will yield s remarkable profits later instead risking everything on business that might not end well.

You felt drained of your lost simply because you failed to adopt playing the unfamiliar game (roulette) for fun in the first place instead you were desperate to win and count profits out of your plays else, you would had still found it enjoying despites your losts.

In as much as I don't like the way OP was desperate to win from a game he has no idea about, I think you are too harsh on his choice. Many people here will say they gamble for fun but we know what the drill is all about, it's about making the bag from casino. No two ways about it but saying gambling for fun is to make people feel you aren't desperate to win but the reality is that nobody want to lose money to any company, even he casino doesn't want you to win, that's how how dedicated we all want to get money from each other through gambling.

I have come across such sceneros of engaging on unfamiliar games which I basically said to myself that ... " I want to stake on this game because it seems entertaining and I am literally not too concerned about winning but to feel the cruise and vibes it has as enjoyment but if there comes winning along the lines then it should be a bonus to me.

Well well, just as I said, as an individual there is personality beneath our mind and what we want. There are days I gamble with small amount of money and some big amount of money and this depend on how I feel and the money available to stake. I think since the beginning of weekend, I have try long and short shots on EPL and some random leagues and in fact, only short shots gave me something and I guess what, I stake them with little money and the ones I gamble with big money didn't come as I expected, this is the life of gambling but regardless we continue..

I prefer staking before matches start when I started to gamble as a newbie. I later prefer virtual matches. I left both to staking on live matches which is what I gamble with most on bookies now.

This is just for fun. Let us post and have fun to know which one that most people on this forum that are posting on this gambling board like most.

Do not gamble more than you can afford to lose.

At your last paragraph, if only gamblers will listen attentively.

Gambling doesn't have manual but I personally, I love to bet and make all decisions before the game start because you will likely have considerable amounts of odds as to when the match has already begin. Most often than not, odds are more appealing when the match time is not less than 24 hours especially when the players that will be available for the match will not be available to the public. I'm not sure if you observe very well, once it's 15 minutes to matches and they announced the squads from both teams, the odds trunk immediately especially when an expected player doesn't show up in the game.

The least I have never tried in betting is Virtual, I have seen people lose all they had in that sh$t and regret later, I have seen police men come around to pick a guy for refusing to pay up after playing virtual, so many complications I have seen in virtual games and that's why I haven't gave it a try to date or should I say I'm sacred of turning the next victim of gambling addiction.
