I don't like betting on live matches at all,they can go wrong in such a short amount of time.I know of some people who have bought what they call "fast satellites" which are about 30 seconds ahead of the fastest stream and they use them to place live bets on lower division leagues through bet365,they place the live bets next goal just before the goal is scored,it is extremely expensive to get those type of satellites yet they claim that they are making money,I have not seen any difference in their life style so I don't know if they are lying or not,anyway,I always prefer to place bets before the game starts and lately I am only playing basketball over games.

I usually stake before the start of a match. I don't stake in live matches more often, but the virtual match is what I don't like at all. Although, according to my thoughts, live and virtual matches are more fun, virtual matches have a high risk of losing money.

Sometimes, I can stake on more than 10 matches that are supposed to run for like 3 or 5 days. I sit back and wait for the matches to kick off, and I also enjoy watching those matches as they play.

Why I love to stake before a match starts is because I feel more relaxed and carefully take time to predict the result of the match, which makes me more lucky than staking when the game is live. Also, if I make predictions on about 5 or 10 different games, I can equally get some cash out of the matches that go as predicted.

Do not mind anyone. Scammers will be looking for ways to scam people. This is just only a scam and it is better not to buy anything. In-play are happening very fast as the matches are in real life in a way it can not be manipulated.

But I just do not like the in-play in lower leagues because I do not know if ithe matches can be fixed or manipulated.

I prefer in-play, but you are not wrong at all, the match can easily change, but that is gambling. What I like more about in-play is when I just want to choose a strong team to win, they do have low odds, if the strong team do not score like 10 to 15 minutes after the match has started, the odds would have gone up. Then I place my bet on the strong team with bigger odd.

I voted "Staking before matches start" because that was what mostly I bet.

Placing my bet before the matches start can make me to learn decision making, while in live matches you need to overcome with your emotion, timing, and other thing that might make you make a mistake.

What I like more about in-play is when I just want to choose a strong team to win, they do have low odds, if the strong team do not score like 10 to 15 minutes after the match has started, the odds would have gone up. Then I place my bet on the strong team with bigger odd.

Or place your bet on Real Madrid in the last minute, a miracle might happen.

The thing though with staking before matches is that you don't know who's player are available, or who suddenly going to sit before of injuries hours before the game. So it will spell the difference between winning or losing.

So for me, sometimes I will look at the odds pre game and see if there are changes during live betting. Specially if the favorite suddenly was not playing good and then they become a underdog, might be good to throw some money on them live betting.

I don't think there would had been possibilities to stake after match has started because there is every tendencies that the match would go biased against your will and you are likely to withdrawal from staking because your lost would be obvious and I don't know what think the casino would let you take advantage of them where the game have to had started before you make your stakes.
But on a contrarily, if you the earlier you bets and stakes is better your bets odds is bigger and the later you place your game and make your stakes is the lower your games odds.

I vote live matches. This is my habit of betting on football. The reason is that I have to first observe the formation and strategy used, I look at the line up of players used by the team. At least I tried to avoid a crushing defeat 😅. In the past, I preferred staking before matches started and just had faith, as a result the club I chose lost, even though the club I chose was in the top premier league, but lost to the promotion team 😅

I think everyone agrees with you that it is better to bet before the match starts because in my opinion it is easier to get higher odds than when betting on a live match, but sometimes I have also tried betting on live matches and usually because I am motivated to make a withdrawal. the amount is less than the minimum, usually I will bet all the money on a live game to win a little to reach the minimum withdrawal.

I know that the risks are very high in betting on live matches, therefore it is best that no one ever tries to do it if it is not because of something very urgent to do, for example, like what I did because I wanted to withdraw money from the site out of necessity, so I tried to place a bet on a live match. to earn money fast and achieve minimum withdrawal so that I can withdraw money fast. If my memory serves me right I think I have seen similar thread on this board sometime ago and am gonna reiterate something similar here to what I said on that one.

I dislike virtual matches they are like a waste of money as your winnings are rather determined by the people at the backend controlling the outcome of the virtual matches results instead of it outcome to be randomly determined based on luck of the player. It's one thing for you the gambler to make your predictions it's another for those behind the tech to determine how the games results will be.

I prefer playing live matches or before they start, for this I am rest assured that my skill and knowledge will increase my chances of winning my games.  For live matches with how the teams are performing it gives me an insight on which team has the upper advantage to either win or draw the game.

I don't betting on lines before the game more than any other strategy.

I have tried different strategy in sports betting and I find it betting on pregame odds very relaxing. When I was new, I tried to experiment a lot and based on my expereince, betting live is pretty much stressful because you could easily be tempted in a wrong line, called it trap, and based on the outcome, I lost most of my bets, so I'm not for it.

I honestly not familiar with football teams that's why I do on live matches (live game betting) and based on the available statistics or data when placing a bet such as total corners or which team will first score by looking at their targeted and total attempted goal versus the other team, it's not 100% effective but I win in some of my bets, so I guess I can live it lol 

On the other hand, virtual football doesn't work for me and I lose every time, I don't recommend it to anyone.

I understand that betting is luck based and no matter the kind of betting you do, if you don't do the right thing and reduce your risk then you will regret. In other words, it is about being responsible to your betting psychology.

When I'm on my gambling with strategy mode, I place every bets well ahead of the game as my strategy would depend on the odds I get. When the game is live, the odds fluctuates widely depending on the performance and scoring of the teams. I tend to bet live when I believe there's a better odds for most likely event but these bets are not within my budgeted strategic gambling and are more for the fun involved.
Overall I believe the risks  on betting current odds on live game are higher than a prematch odds as the odds you get for winning team is low and the game could turn upside down anytime.

I'm a complete "No" to virtual matches, as I find them easier to fix and also harder to analyze. However, for betting before the match and betting on the live match, it all depends on the conditions, if there are 2 matches, 1 hasn't started and the other has, I would prefer to bet on the match that's in live. Moreover, there are conditions that support betting on live matches, for example a strong team that is behind on score. Wouldn't it be more fun to bet on the team that should and makes sense to score next?

And that stresses us out which we can't anymore enjoy the game what we are watching. I am personally a fan or few bets per game only, mostly before the game starts because with few games, I believe that I'll be able to do the right research that could give me a better winning percentage.

However, it's still not proven until now, LOL... It's only a belief as I have not translated that to the result I'm expecting, which is profit.
