By the way I was thinking that cant we have a bot that can witness all these posts and quote the new addresses every 4-5 hours?? If there can be a bot to send PMs(like the one in the bitx signature campaign) , then there can be a bot for this too.

Actually, there is no need.

=snip= so that's why I'm asking people to quote the address posted by the preceding user in this thread.
 =snip=

If the new poster quoted previous post, there is no need to quote it again. It is similar to sig-spam IMHO(no offence). Please avoid it. Quote if the new poster didn't quote previous post. Thank you! Smiley
So I guess we must ask people who are just quoting addresses for the sake of quoting to stop quoting because the actual quoting should be done by the people who are posting their address to get quotes(they should quote the previous posted address). But here we have many people with paid signatures who are just quoting without posting their addresses(cause they have earlier posted it) and so this is kinda spammy and is clogging the thread.

They don't get 25BTC from "coinbase", its just the bitcoin network that rewards the miners with 25BTC for solving a block.

You are mistaken, my friend! You are talking about "Coinbase" company, I am talking about Coinbase transaction. The first transaction in a block. From "coinbase" miner get 25 newly minted Bitcoins.
Oh yeah, I really though you were talking about the coinbase conpany(cause that company is the only thing that comes to mind when you hear of the word "coinbase").
So you meant coinbase which is - A special kind of transaction, called a coinbase transaction, has no inputs. It is created by miners, and there is one coinbase transaction per block. Because each block comes with a reward of newly created Bitcoins (e.g. 50 BTC for the first 210,000 blocks), the first transaction of a block is, with few exceptions, the transaction that grants those coins to their recipient (the miner).

Hope I am getting it right. Thanks for telling it. I never knew we used to call that thing as "coinbase transaction".

Any easy anonymous poll, no need to leave a comment but feel free to discuss something if you want.

How much bitcoin have you gambled?

I'm interested in volume statistics.

Thanks.

I'm not an early-adopter and so far i wagered only 0.264BTCWink
Doesn't matter if you are an early adopter or not. Even I am not an early adopter(joined just 2years ago) but I have gambled more than 100x times of what you are gambled.
Wow that's close to 30BTC, really a lot. Most Bitcoin users never had that much in their wallets. People like you are keeping the industry alive.
I should have said 200times cause its like more than 50BTC that I've wagered. Earlier I used to gamble for fun but some time ago I stated to throw in more money into this this.
Though I am just a small fish, there are many other big whales that contribute to this industry more than people like me do.

Luckyflop's banners are up now. Just saw one of them on a thread.
465  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My payments are stuck !!! on: April 07, 2015, 11:33:48 AM
If this is the case then 100,000 transactions times 0.0001 adda up to only 10 BTC per day. That's 10 BTC spread over all miners...per day. Not a whole heck-of-a-lot.

What am I missing  Huh

Some transactions are more than 1000 bytes and it will have more than 0.0001BTC as fee. Some transactions even have zero fee. Miner who find the block get 25BTC from coinbase which is newly minted coins and the transaction fees will be also taken by the miner. So if there is 100,000 transactions each with 0.0001BTC fee, the miner will get 60BTC. If it is a pool who get it, they will take the fee from it and distribute it to the miners who mine on their pool.

Note: Only the miner or pool who find the block gets reward, others will get 0BTC.

They don't get 25BTC from "coinbase", its just the bitcoin network that rewards the miners with 25BTC for solving a block.

Now I don't know how I can find out how many bytes are in the average Tx

Just see the size of the transaction on this page- https://blockchain.info/tx/60c026b6ac9c4c81b3522aabee10464f38357efa14494cd41e06b76399685236
The size is mentioned in the summary. In your case its 1286bytes.

The show is over the staff abandoned the office

Its 110% scam

Im initiating a case against them in estonia, its not cheap either but i really need to gather as many victims as possible to convince authorities

To start with 5-10 people willing to give their story and their full legal name would help kick start this case

Thanks fo help in advance
Best of luck! Happy to see someone thinking of taking some strict actions against these people.
Keep us updated about the case and then take care the next time.

469  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans [No Collateral] on: April 06, 2015, 07:27:42 PM
an iphone 5c is worth way more than 1btc.
I am assuming that your iPhone isn't a new one and so a second hand iPhone sells just around 0.8BTC to 0.9BTC(here in my country) so still its not a valid collateral and you should have considered posting pictures of your iPhone here so that just in case if the lender is interested in providing this loan then he can see the pictures and decide.
470  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans [No Collateral] on: April 06, 2015, 07:18:59 PM

Loan amount required:1.0btc
110% - 150% Collateral (if you want a sure deal): I have a Iphone 5c but that is not worth 1btc
Term length:2 weeks
Interest: 150%
The collateral must be worth(generally more) than the principle amount of the loan. Also a newbie promising 150% return in two week is fishy.
471  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [BIT-X] Signature Campaign - Discussion on: April 06, 2015, 07:17:08 PM
I was just thinking that can we have a countdown timer which shows the time left for our next payment(the countdown can be shown on the bitsig.website/beta page itself.
This would be very helpful and will limit the panicking signature campaigners.

This might be possible but seems a hassle though for the devs I see as it might take some more work as each and every user registered at different time and on different dates...

No, he can use the forum time "as official time" and put a little countdown for each enrolled user. It will not so difficult to add it (IMHO).
I don't know why there is a need for some timezone. I an asking for just a counter, it wont show you the tine when you will get paid but instead it will start backward countdown from 7 days to 0 seconds  and the countdown will start at the beginning of each new weekly period.

And I want an animated chart with comparison of my weekly post number, weekly changes, breakdown of posts in each board, prediction of my future post number based on my past behavior. The soundtrack to make viewing stats more pleasant (nothing fancy, just 10-20 songs to choose from). Also I want some random 'fun fact' and 'daily joke' displayed, and some live stream of some recent movies would be great.

Am I asking for too much?

c'mon you guys...
That actually would be fun.
But still I have just asked a countdown for people who get tensed and keep question, when will i get paid!!?? Its required in this campaign and its not too much. Stop over reacting.

I don't think you understand how things work.  Roll Eyes
That's your problem. You don't think and still you post without knowing anything.
What I said in the post is true and if things go wrong then ill refund you. As simple as that.
Also this happens because to get activity points you just need to post once in every 14 day period and then the potential activity gets stored in your account. And when you make enough posts then your activity increase with the increase in post count.

475  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Sr. Member Account 0.1BTC on: April 06, 2015, 04:40:26 PM
Hey,

I am selling a sr. Member account with 252+ activity. The only problem with the account is that it has Negative Trust from an untrusted users(in depth 2). So the trust wont show up as default and there wont be any negative red mark on the account. So this means you would still be able to use it for campaigns and shit.

My price is just 0.1BTC
PM me if interested.
I wont lower down the price(please don't bargain)

Note: I am not the original creator of the account so don't ask me to sign messages. This note is specially for Redsn0w and Quickseller Also the people with paid signatures , please don't tell me that the price is high or low or anything we can do with the account. I am not interested.

Depths 0, 1 and 2 are trusted by default. Is the negative feedback from someone from depth 2? If so it would appear as trusted by default and make the account red. Or is it from someone on depth 3+?

Whoa! Thanks for digging up this thread. Hope your question has been answered.
Ill be closing this thread now because the account got sold a long time ago.
476  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you do if you lost this?!! on: April 06, 2015, 02:05:43 PM
Can someone tell me what would they do if they lost this kind of bet slip?
http://prntscr.com/6pllvk

Odd:164
Bet:0.007 btc
Return:1.23btc
Result:LOSS
Won 11/12 picks
Lost on the match that was 0-5 and i needed both teams to score

i just want to here your comments about this
thank you!
That was very very unlucky. But still it would have been fun cause you didn't loose much and the adrenalin rush during these matches would have been high.
Just enjoy what you do and move on cause you cannot do anything about the bet now.
477  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: April 06, 2015, 01:49:01 PM
[...]
..theres no guarantee on this game, right?
[...]

it would be called "investment" otherwise and not "gambling" Tongue

There is still no guarantee in "investment", no matter if it is an investment in a casino's bankroll, stock market or in bitcoin itself. Tongue

You could essentially say everything in life is gambling  Grin
No . There is something known as a job, as hard work or as innovation.

*Facepalm*
Yeah. 10 pages have got filled up with every community member yelling you that the domain is worthless but you still think that the community will back you up with this domain. Best Of Luck with the sale.

Sorry. But I wasn't insulting you. I was just disappointed by the way you were estimating the price of your domain.
Best of luck with you sale and put the domain on flippa or some good site where you have people with big pockets.
479  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction Pot. Full Member Account on: April 06, 2015, 01:25:47 PM
when is the account created? are you sure it has posted atleast once in every 2 week period so it will reach Full Member status when it has enough post?
Yes I am sure that it has posted in enough two week time periods so that it will reach Full Member rank.

I'm curious about how that works, can you explain this?
You need to post in every two week period atleast once to get your activity accumulated in your account. And then when you make enough posts, the activity increases instantaneously.

do you agree to make a refund just in case the account doesnt get to rank Full Member even it has enough post?
Yes. I am publically announcing that I will refund you if the account doesn't reach "Full Member" after it has enough posts.

do you agree to make a refund just in case the account doesnt get to rank Full Member even it has enough post?

He just posted above in reply to you. "Yes I am sure that it has posted in enough two week time periods so that it will reach Full Member rank. " I doubt he would lie and ofcourse he will refund if it doesn't.
Yes. Ofc I will refund it if it doesn't reach FM.
480  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BitcoinSolutions.com - For Sale on: April 06, 2015, 06:25:51 AM
Bitcoinquiz...do your homework before u talk...
goto bitcoinsolutions.com and u will see my Bitcoin address...u will see a partial payment for freebitcoins.com
he made 3 different payments and that's one of them which is over $10,000.
I have nothing to prove to you except to tell you that these Bitcoin domains are selling for $xx,xxx and more.
btc.com sold for over million dollars.
Bitcoinwallet.com sold for $250,000
Google it.

Google my name Anunt Patel and you will see that I have sold couple million dollars worth of domains; I am not trying to scam anyone.
I sold Locals.com for $250,000.
I sold MeetPeople.com for $100,000
I sold Sax.com for $xxx,xxx
And several hundred other domains.

I was just amazed by this bitcoiner who bought Freebitcoins.com ... that is why I shared that story.

I just want to share that there are super rich bitcoiners who are spending lots of bitcoins and do not care about spending $20,000 on a good domain name that they might like.

Just like the guy that spent $1,000,000 for btc.com ... probably did not even negotiate or this other guy who paid $250,000 for bitcoinwallet.com

Anyways, back to the main topic:
BitcoinSolutions.com
btcSolutions.com
Bitcoin.Solutions
3 Domains - Total Price $20,000 USD
I will accept USD or BTC
I prefer to use escrow service.
Email me: Anunt@yahoo.com
There is a difference between btc.com and bitcoinsolutions.com , the later stands nowhere as compared to btc.com . Also I agree that freebitcoins was a good domain and you might have got money for it. But bitcoinsolutions isn't worth investing.
Though best of luck with your sale.
