What do you mean XST is the poorest performing blocknet coin that you own? What coins do you own that are "out performing" XST? I'm curious to know how you rank the performance of a coin.

I mean I am losing more bitcoin holding XST than the others. I'm not bothered because I have invested what I'm prepared to lose. However there should be less blocknet talk and more talk about what we actually offer the blocknet. If nobody uses XST on the blocknet then it will be dropped / obsoleted pretty quickly.

True innovation takes time. Look at how far we've come since the beginning of XST. If you're talking price, XST was less than half a cent back back around July/August when I bought the majority of my stash. Tech wise, Hondo has always kept us in the know & has stayed pretty much on track with the roadmap. We are a little behind & he has stated this. It is far better to delay something slightly, then to produce something sub-par. We weathered the pump & dump from Bob's group as well as the FUD shitstorm from certain members of the Shadowcash community (from which I got my old account banned for drunkenly retaliating for a night LOL!). All in all, I think we are doing pretty damn well, despite the uphill battle we've faced as a community. I see this as a great time to invest more, as good things are right around the corner. As far as the Blocknet goes, It seems like a good idea... but I'm not planning on dumping any XST into it (even at a 10% discount... maybe a little btc). But yes, I am far more interested in what we've got going on than the blocknet itself.

Thanks for your post. All good points. I do disagree with the bolded statement though. This is where I lost 50% of value on my XST investment and IMO it's shown no signs of recovering since.
I agree a strong release by the devs would go far but that could be tomorrow, could be 6 months.

Point taken. I as well lost 50% value over those fiascoes. Right now we are holding steady & things are a month behind, this has been stated by the dev. In my opinion... we are in that golden opportunity phase to accumulate.

I hope I'm not sounding too much like that Pookie guy with the charts & all.
I made fun of him for posting charts LOL!

can you exatly explain how stake coins?

i have 1000xst in the wallet but 0 coin in stake

Just press the "Unlock Wallet" button or go to Settings > Unlock Wallet. You will then have to wait some time (maybe hours) before receiving your first reward so you must be patient. Perhaps somebody else in this thread could elaborate on coin maturation altho you don't need to know about that to start staking.

Just press "Unlock Wallet" and make sure the tickbox "For Staking only" is ticked.

p.s. updated the 5 important points post to make it more helpful

Stake starting between 3 - 5 days after coins are in your wallet.
The wallet don't need stay open forever.
You can open it every 3 days, and then receive your coins

thx you too for help Smiley

altho the longer u leave ur wallet open for staking the better for creating a strong and secure network.

glad u are now staking yuk + encourage all of you not staking to start ASAP so you can collect your PoS reward and secure the network simultaneously!

Staking 24/7! Yeah!

XST has bright future, we have best Dev, and innovation features
XST will be the next star

I second that!

I third that!

Just came across this article about Open Bazaar,
OpenBazaar: The Decentralized Offspring of Ebay & Amazon - Interview with Project Lead, Brian Hoffman:

http://cointelegraph.com/news/112756/openbazaar-the-decentralized-offspring-of-ebay-amazon-interview-with-project-lead-brian-hoffman

Figured ya'll might find it interesting!

So they are going to support only Bitcoins?

Only until they test it & the network is stable.

"CT: Does OpenBazaar support any cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin?
BH: We do not support any other currencies at the moment because we feel like it will be trivial to add additional crypto support. Later, once the network is stable and other issues are addressed. Others are free, however, to work with us to build ways to support others in flexible ways and we are soliciting feedback on that."

Hopefully yhr dev team works with them. The closer the better imo.

Agreed. I'm downloading the beta version here to try it out.
https://github.com/OpenBazaar/OpenBazaar
Unfortunately I have to leave for work in about 20 minutes... so I won't have much time til I get home.
Here's the contact e-mail for OpenBazaar: project@openbazaar.org
Though I've sure the dev team already has this.
I dunno, I haven't been in the chat much since I've been back to work.

Edit: appears to be Linux only at this point... and I don't run Linux.
Anyone else wanna try it out & report back?

Has anyone received an explanation as to why cryptsy is still doing maintenance on their stealthcoin wallet? This astounds me, every other exchange has figured it out and many of them don't get close to the volume that cryptsy gets.

i am sure their wallet will be taking care of by this weekend. yes, some few lucky bastards got some FREE XST at cryptsy and sell right away at dirt cheap, i don't blame them.

It's obvious they had some internal accounting errors. They are probably reconciling their ledgers before they open the wallet.

From cryptsy in response to a ticket:

I do apologize for the delay, Currently Stealth coin wallet is down due to an issue, when the dev's resolve the issue we will check to see if this transaction needs to be resent again or not... Thank you for your patience

So, is there an issue with the wallet? Does know anything bout this?
Yeah..there is an issue. The wallet is locked for almost a week or so. They are not very intelligent, and they can't fix it yet.
This is only at Cryptsy. They said they fixed it after a while they said they didn't. They are pissing me off big time.

I've had similar issues with them in the past withdrawing Anoncoin & XC. I tend to avoid Cryptsy like Ebola now.

23 Active Connections to the StealthCoin network + less rejects than in recent days

The network looks good.

Current Network Weight 37M. Solid.

Keep Staking!

Staking is working great, I'm getting around 30 or so coins per day.

Interesting that nobody is pumping the whole blocknet group yet.
This is bullish as hell. Accumulation phase initiated. Get in now before the stampede to get in.

I for one will be accumulating all coins on the network.

Warned.

NOOOO!!!! I'm waiting for a Coinbase order to clear... not yet!!!!
Hold yer horse's  Tongue LOL

You should quit using Coinbase and try Circle, its a lot better and you can pay with a credit card and avoid any waiting period. I've heard you can pay with a gift card as well. Like Coinbase, they also do ACH out of your bank account.  Anyway, like you I was using Coinbase, but I love Circle it's a lot better.

https://www.circle.com/en

Cool, thanks for the tip! It get's frustrating having to wait close to a week for your btc.

That said... Holy crap! We are skyrocketing!!! Wow  Grin

Not into this blocknet thing. Same as Unity which did initially grab me.

Hondo should remain laser focused on XST imo

 Cool

I believe he will & within the blocknet, we shall excel.

Is FUD already over? Would like to trade in peace  Cool

I tend to fight FUD with FUD & got a nice little ban from it retaliating against Shadow (a few too many beers & over did it). I generally would never FUD unprovoked. Seeing that all these coins are joining one network, you hurt one coin,  you hurt them all. We're all intertwined now, so we will probably see a great reduction of FUD. Any FUD coming in would most likely be from outside the network.
