People buy them mostly for signature campaigns, or they just don't want to invest the time to get to a certain status, time is money after all.

i believe there is another truffic of the business around buying bitcointalk account, many do buy account to increase post or do some trading and sell them with a better price take a look at this example, what if i buy a senior with zero trust for 0.2 btc, and then i do some fast fake trading with low amount to increase its trust to ..let's say x10, with this new trust this same account would have a value of at least 0.3... with this simple example you can easy understand that they are not bought only for signature, there is a heavy traffic for other reasons, that may be even more profitable... Okay first Off, That above account listed in that url isn't mine. That first, I did buy a google wallet account from a member here but it wasn't timowhite99 but it did come with that email prefix . If you all must know I payed 20 dollars for the account and a google wallet card that came with it... I also got email access when I bought the wallet account so I have been using it for trades and such.
Second Off, Buyer Paid I told him I would send from localbitcoins , Went to send from local bitcoin and got asked for ID, In the middle of ID verification Now before I can withdraw. I have proof of EVERYTHING!
