I don’t know enough to see for sure but so far it doesn’t seem like it is. We’ve seen people talk about crashes but we have never really seen any. I will admit that I did think bitcoin could crash about a year ago. But, as of now, I don’t think bitcoin will be going away anytime soon.

If I buy altcoins that don't even have wallets like agoras or maidsafe, how im supposed to not keep them at the exchange if its the only way to hold them?
Also I need some btc in exchange for quick movements, i cant wait for transactions.
This is one of the problem that you can't avoid. Having a coins that don't have a wallet at all where you can save in your computer. There is no other way but to leave it on exchange and pray that exchange will exist until you have sold or wallet is available for your coins. And the thing that we want to buy something yet it is not yet filled is also unavoidable. I don’t know why anyone would want to do that. I’m assuming they don’t care if they lost all there coins, but then again how many hackers are going to want to hack for altcoins when they are hardly used? |

Yeah you are right, there is no safe way to play gambling, if you want to win just play if you think you are lucky that time. Because it's a matter of luck and risk.
