Well if i was Sasha, i would be wanting to prove people wrong and create a fantastic platform, but, hey, its hard to get motivated, when it is not your own money you are using and thats the simple truth here.
Thats why I/OCoin who use their own money, will be around longer than Waves will be.

Again, not saying if he is right or wrong but I must say I much prefer Vitalik's way of communication. Another thing what I dont understand why the need to defend Vitalik and ETH that often. I don't think they need it. I agree with someone above - focus should be waves, not the drama happening to someone elses coins. I still have no intention selling my waves for at least 6 months but I'd still like this to be handled a little more professionally (when it comes to PR from Sasha). On the other hand, maybe it is good he is so confident and has good cards. Time will tell. +1 also can make what ever exchange, no one is going to use it, dozens of dead exchanges out there. People only trust bittrex and poloniex for alt coin trading, period. |

To anyone saying no serious investors are going to buy into waves until full nodes is wrong. Waves has been in a accumulation phase since day one with an average of 50k of volume a day. Waves is going to pump very very hard. I'm thinking possibly x10 seeing how long this phase has been.

What a fkin fail thought youd be gone by now...daytrader....really the fkin fail is your failure to look through thread and realize that this is not a pnd but rather a solid long term project. so you bought .64 btc worth at 25k......now its worth about .5 btc. please, so you don't feel so bad about the $100 loss, consider it like a tuition fee for the continuing of your education in the crypto space. You are just a fanboy... I don't care about what you say... keep it up fanboy  I dont tend to comment on the market but overnight Poloniex listed ETC. We were hovering around 22k yesterday and It's very obvious that traders would sell IOC to ride the ETC (ethereum classic) listing. We are in the midst of very uncertain times with ETH so this seems to be a very speculative time. We are a tight community as we have been working for over 2 years. We are not a manipulated market so what you see is what you get, is organic. The entire dev team is coding not in the market. To everyone that wants to buy ioc, I say do your research if you are looking for a long term project, please be careful as we are in a very volatile market and our project is a very long term project. We have had steady and substantial growth over the years and we are going to have market swings. The price is currently reflecting our soon to be released DIONS project, but as we said in the Q&A this is only a base and first stage of our 2nd Roadmap. Lastly the project is not in any type of fail state the project is solid. Our blockchain is solid. If you go into the market and buy and there are swings in it that's the market. If people want to sell ioc, they will sell it when they want to sell it, it's that person's ioc and they can buy and sell it when they want to. In this markets we also have so called "whales" who can come in buy big and sell big, so with this said be careful in the markets. I personally stake my coins and can't wait for DIONS to continue on staking. Joel, well said and kudos to you and the whole team for your dedication and vison. the google hangout was informative and good opportunity for community to familiarize themselves with the team. Hopefully there will be more to come with the introduction of dions, chameleon and sunrise. a side note...and more in my wheel house ...nice hat. +1 the coin might of went down a bit, like all crypto coins do, look at Poloniex today its a Blood Bath, nearly all alts taking good beating. So... the main question is: why ppl are selling their IOC  profit taking....as ioc was trading for 10k-12k sat a month ago or so Exactly, profit taking and probably jumping on the ETC Ethereum Classic. But with IOC, it is the one and ONLY coin i hold that i can sleep easy knowing it will be at least x2 from here , more likely x3 in 12 months from now. and i am more than happy to hold. |

Many of the holders accumulated below 10k sats...
Daytraders look at ticks n pips
While holders like us, isnt a big deal if bought at 8k or 10k sats

I just bought at 25k and now 22500 wat don't be worried about the short term fluctuations, this is not a pump and dump scheme, this is a long term project. in the shorter term.... in a few weeks... with coming of DIONS, 25K will seem like a very fair entry point. I'm not a long-term investor, can't hold any coin at this point because of my job. What kind of illogical is that?? Your job prevents you from buying a digital currency, then forgetting (holding) it. crazy! If you had read this thread, you would see IOC is lno term coin, not no crappy PnD, if you want PnD buy Ethereum. I'm a day-trader and can't hold money on one coin. What's the point? Price was at 25k and now 20k... if it's not PnD... so What is it then? Day Trade coins with big swings like Ethereum, is my advice. I/O Coin is ROCK SOLID. Look at it this way. LEts sya you have 5BTC. holding IOC that 5btc in one year will be worth 15BTC (very likely) OR day trade and slowly and painfully lose that 5btc over the next 12 months. See how people becomes Whales in Crypto, Hold and become Whale. Day trade and be eaten by wales. |
